Relationships are dead

5 posts in this topic

Thoughts? Does Esther Perel resonate, or do you think she misunderstands the plight of men?

She has experience that spans back before the modern era and it's tools. Do you all think we should adjust & accept technology and it's impact on our relationships? Or get out there and and relate to each other?

Deal with the issue now, on your terms, in your control. Or the issue will deal with you, in ways you won't appreciate, and cannot control.

I haven't watched the episode yet, but be careful with this "Diary of a CEO" show. It focuses on clicks, featuring "experts" who say provocative or triggering things to provoke reactions and increase views.

@Natasha Tori Maru i do agree with her that its technology thats the biggest problem. Not because of we dont make connections and have less female friends as a male. But simply women have more choice and dont settle for less attractive men. Its a race. Survival and making babies is a race. Who has the best genetics and health markers so i can make a baby with them?

Women have this attitude subconsciously because making a baby is taking away a lot of time, energy, resources from the body.

Men approach a lot and try a lot but they dont get a girlfriend because of their looks.

Its just natural selection.

While economy is not at the best place now but still women can live on their own, they have enough money because they work. Back in the day you had to settle with a man early.

I do agree - I dislike dairy of a CEO actually. But Esther Perel has been around for a long time, and has some alternative views.

Become skeptical of almost all social media content now... aiming to break free of reddit consciousness (even though I'm linking to reddit lolz) or any sort of belief system about anything and question everything down to the mundane, like I must eat this or that, or do what anyone says, or that it matters if I live to 100 with a healthy body even (though the healthy eating habit is established) ... this guy produces content to get views. You can take wisdom from it or not, but after some point it becomes a distraction from self realization work which is done on the level of the interaction between the prefrontal cortex or thinking brain and older brain structures.
