Spiritual amnesia (forgetting higher consciousness). Tell me about it

4 posts in this topic

It's not just about memory, there's stuff I remember but don't trust, like fearlessness

Although my sober self mostly seems to forget, when I trip I not only remember but it's like I pick up where I left off

Everytime I laugh like a madman

Anyway, got anything to share ? Experiences, insights, etc

No space, no time, nothing but you/this/here/now

I once tripped and broke my normal limits of human physical ability. I'm talking ridiculous levels of increase in speed and strength. Then....the opposite happened when I tripped again I became embarrassingly slow and weak. This was God mode and I got to see how Infinite Consciousness could easily change my ability level with ease. Some other stuff happened but I'll leave it out.

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

You're hitting on one of the most fascinating aspects of Awakening to me. It's a subject I rarely see talked about.

It's the one part of it all (God/Source/Reality/Consciousness) I don't quite understand, and have often pondered about. When I go to 'source', or Awaken, I call it a Remembering. I remember everything, who and what I am. It's like 'of course !! How did I forget this!?'. But soon after coming back, it all goes away. Only hints of it. Shadows of it. And for me, a frustration in the forgetting.

I like to use dreams as a reference. When in a dream, it's all 100% real to you. It's formlessness, pure unlimited imagination. All 100% your mind creating itself into a reality, that you believe is 100% real. When one wakes up, you (most of the time) forget the dream.

To me, maybe the secrete lies in being a Lucid Dreamer. You train your mind to wake up in the dream, being able to remain in the dream, and have full access to the creation of that reality. God consciousness, with awareness to create at will. And in doing so, maybe the dream becomes more real to you, so when you wake, you have better dream-recall.

One of the key aspects of Lucid Dreaming is practicing dream-recall. One could maybe practice dream recall, in reality and in the dream.

And maybe, if one practices enough, then maybe Consciousness would be better prepared to recall when returning from Source/God Consciousness.

Just a theory, but all I can think of to tackle this phenomenon.

Forget even word of spiritually. That's what really spiritually is.
