I'm not islamophobic, Im just pointing the falsehood of that quote.

The quote isn't faulty. It simply means God can do whatever he wants .create anything from nothing .because he is all powerful. All religions who believe in monotheism agree on this ..not just Islam.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Does that mean it's true? As Leo said, there can't be limits, because what would limit those limits?

There can't be a creator, because what would create that creator? Why would an infinite creator want to create one thing instead of another?

But how can reality be limitless if it only appears as this particular snapshot of stuff right now ? Where is infinity ?

Infinity is a paradox .it is both necessary and impossible.  Don't ask me how.

There is no creator to the Creator with Capital C .also no one said the creator is separate from creation.

He doesn't create one thing over the other .he creates everything. You are asking but why we are in this particular world right now and not in Harry Potter world?  I simply don't know .

Infinity as substance is within you; it is what you are. Infinity as form is also outside of you; it is what creates this concrete form, and at the same time, this concrete form creates infinity. Everything is interconnected and synchronized. How do I know this? Am I making this up? No, it's simple rule-of-thumb logic. It's obvious. But first you have to open yourself to the infinity to start your logic from that base.

It is impossible for there to be a creator because if there were, he would make choices, he would have preferences, therefore he would be finite. The only possible creator is the fact of infinity itself. It is the cause of manifestation, form, perception,  consciousness, since nothing can prevent it; it is the potential that occurs. Infinity is absolute potential, but this has rules, since in infinity, no form or movement can be absolute; it has to be relative to another. Therefore, only synchronous things appear, up to infinite power. Non-synchronous things simply do not appear; they are unmanifested potential.

This is totally obvious, not a theory. Nothing manifested exists by itself because in infinity there can be no absolute movement. Points a and b are the same. There are no dimensions because there are no limits. Dimensions are created with limits, and limits are created by the synchronicity between reflections.

@Breakingthewall define your goddam terms first .  None of what you said is obvious. Its tricky to the max and This is just a whole bunch of word salad which is impossible to refute ..discuss..or prove .

Where is a mistake or something that is not obvious?

This literally has no meaning whatsoever. Just a bunch of nerdy words strung up together which mean absolutely nothing and are completely disconnected from the "real world ".

Imagine an infinite framework, in which there is nothing, no limits, no differences, no reference points. It is neither large nor small, it has no dimensions, it is nothing but it is not limited, it has no bottom. If there is movement in that framework, what does that mean? What moves? With respect to what does it move? It's impossible. If there are no limits, there can be no change because there is only the absence of limits. It's the same now as before, here as there.

So, how can there be change? The only way is by changing state. How can something change state without a reference that's in another state? It's impossible. The only change of state is in comparison to a reflection that's in the other state. A zero is zero compared to a one. If there's only one zero, then a one, There never really was a change because there never really was an "after." It's always now. And if now is only one state it's always changeless. It's only zero compared to one, and one is one compared to zero. Without the two states reflecting each other, there's only one state. Which means no state, no change. Nothing. Any change must be relative to a reference that is in the other state.

Look, experience is change isn't it? What is change ultimately? Change of state. If there is only one thing, one field of reality and nothing to compare it, there is not a state, the state is in comparison with another field of reality that is in another state, is obvious or not? Then multiply that reflection to infinite power. It has to be absolutely synchronized because if not there can't be contrasted, and if it isn't contrasted it doesn't exist

@Breakingthewall appreciate the input .with all honesty its not clicking in my mind . In any case i don't think this conversation we are having pertains to my main message in this thread.

I’ve always found it curious that, even though the Qur’an opens with Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim (In the name of God, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful), none of my Muslim friends really emphasize this aspect of piety and divine goodness - even though they’re all very scholarly and intellectually honest. It’s almost always Allahu Akbar, which evokes more of an Old Testament-style image of God: almighty, righteous, and sovereign.

I remember back in university, when I was working as a waiter in a Turkish restaurant, one of the kitchen guys - a very pious and traditional Muslim - would always say Bismillah ir-Rahman ir-Rahim (or at least Bismillah) before eating and drinking. He never joined us at the table but insisted on sitting on the ground to eat and drink.

If I'm God..and I'm all powerful I can create anything imaginable or unimaginable out of thin air .not even "thin air" ..out of NOTHING. I can pull the rabbit out of the hat .out Of my nonexistent raw material I can create infinite worlds .

Doesn't that mean I have it all ? Isn't this the best news ever ?

That’s basically the Peter Thiel techno-utopian take on Christianity - where Christ has already made the sacrifice so we don’t have to, and the Second Coming is reimagined as the post-AI-singularity heaven on earth.

@Nilsi this is because Allah has split personality disorder.

"Tell My worshipers that I am the Forgiving, the Most Merciful,(49)

and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. (50)"

Chapter 15.

Don’t we all have a bit of split personality disorder?

I don't see any connection. All I'm saying is very simple logic .

-God is said to be omnipotent and all powerful.

-this means God can create anything .

-this means God can create infinitely beautiful realities.

-If I'm God that means I have that capability.  But simply I withhold from myself for some reason .

Yeah, but you’re reading the Bible as some kind of utopian gospel - and that’s exactly what the techno-utopians do too.

Most of Christianity doesn’t work like that. It emphasizes community and faith as ways to confront the inevitable suffering and imperfection of human existence. It’s not some Promethean nostalgia for the Garden of Eden.

I haven't read the entire bible even once in my life . I think you meant the Quran?

Again I'm not sure why are you talking about Christianity. I'm not a Christian. I don't buy the entire story of garden of Eden and Adam and Eve and original sin and speaking spades lol(which is also mentioned in the quran with little editing ).

I'm using a quote from quran about the nature of God and that one of his qualities is that he is all powerful .that's all :)
