Just as it is impossible to know with certainty that others have self-consciousness, it is impossible to know that they do not have self-consciousness. The only thing you can know is that you have your own consciousness, therefore in spiritual work focused on opening to the absolute, others must be left out of the equation, they are irrelevant. It is only relevant to break your barriers and be without limits. It's not that only you exist, is that you exist, that's enough.
