Questions About Solo Reatreats

The question from a love centered viewpoint:

• Isn't it more effective to meditate when you have 10 more people around you to love them, not only yourself?  

The question from an energetic viewpoint:

• Isn't it more likely to get an energetic expansion when you have 10 more people around you so that you can raise their energy as well?

Depend on the individual.

Some will like guided meditation, some will dislike it.
Some will appreciate group meditation, some will prefer solo meditation.

Now, don't rely too much on guided and group meditation, most of the time you'll have to do it by yourself, alone.
Unless you're in a monastery or rewatch the same guided meditation over and over of course.

I don't recommand this though, meditation is about making the inconscious, conscious, and having to deal with emotional trauma/existential crisis, and this will happen much more if you meditate alone.

@Shin the question was about retreats and not meditation as such. At least that is how I understood it.
