   The hype is connected with the marketing and promo grift in social media and online cultures. Destiny for example is masterful with this, he'll go to twitter and tweet something slightly offensive to trigger some public outrage, but not enough it'll land him in legal trouble. Furthermore he has his daliban, a bunch of sycophants that epitomizes the para social relations and the fanboyism they have, so far as to dox, dog pile, cyber bully and harass, and mass reports, and outright would defend him and justify slanderous and defamatory stories of other streamers, YT Channels, news reporters, and so on. He's one example, there are plenty to showcase.
