  1. @Beeman keep inquiring, you'll stop being a materialist. For you to reach heaven (happiness), you don't need to know anything about where Lucifer lives, and what he eats for lunch. But since you're asking, and you can't stop, you'll realise soon enough how wrong you were taking religious texts literally. And BTW, matter itself is not material
  2. @Joseph Maynor @David Hammond Thank you guys. Joseph, I agree. But doesn't that make others suffer for my selfish agendas? Maybe an enlightened master would never argue, but this "never", equals 99% in reality.
  3. @mandyjw Right Mandy. Sometimes love has to be masculine, for practical purposes. Exactly like this: I needed to hear that. It was like a slap in my ego's face. And I appreciate your feminine love as well: Much love for you too.
  4. @Beeman He's not the master, and you already have the answers. Stop taking religious metaphors literally. You are missing the whole point of religion, which is to stop being a materialist.
  5. @Inliytened1 Open-mind = open door @Joseph Maynor if let's say I stay silent, would that make me enlightened? I'm excited to find out.
  6. It'll take sometime my friend, but you will get it.
  7. Hmmm ? Let's try.. You're a liar. And you're an ego, and you're neurotic. You are nowhere near enlightenment. And you don't even know what you're talking about. How does that feel?
  8. @Tony 845 I'm not enlightened, and I'll tell you how to do it: Debating and arguing. Closed-mindedness. Wasting time. Thinking and mental masurbation. Don't appreciate your own unique differences, and assume that enlightenment is a possession that anyone can buy from the mall. Ignore direct experience. Ignore all evidence and science. Ignore all the research. Zero self-reflection. Zero genuine interest in Truth. Zero compassion levels. Laziness. YouTube videos. Popcorn ? Interpreting everything literally alongside being stubborn that my interpretation is the one true interpretation. Lastly, and most importantly, claim enlightenment already, so you won't even have any doubts that you are enlightened, and as a bonus: convince others that you are enlightened, and if they refuse to accept => debate, if failed => bad mouth and call names, if failed => kill.
  9. Like anyone takes him seriously! Lol!
  10. As long as you don't want to obey God (you're opposing his commandments), then you are a devil. Once you give up your will, and put your whole faith in God, i.e. fully accept God's will, you will become an angel. Of course, these are metaphors for happiness and suffering, don't take them literally, that's a trap from Lucifer.
  11. Since when having fun was bad? Treat your hobbies as sins and they will turn into addictions. The point is, if you have nothing to do, then why are you even asking?
  12. I either have no ego at all, or I'm super deluded. What the hell! Yeah, I sure am enlightened
  13. @Viking The problem is that we don't know what is natural. What should and shouldn't be. Consider that also some people are born naturally with what we conventionally call "abnormal" just because we assume that the status quo is whats normal, while in fact according to your definition, everything is a part of the evolutionary process. Also consider that we have no clue what might damage the brain, we have some data statistics of course, but we can't be 100% sure. And even if one is cautious 24/7, that wouldn't prevent a traumatic injury to the brain. So, I don't know, maybe brains have to evolve quickly in order for the whole world to be good. I trust God's design ?
  14. @Leo Gura Hey Leo, I've done this technique today for about 1 hour on parts, I read it from your comment on another topic, I just focused on existence (what I feel in the present moment), and I kept with it, and everytime I return to the ordinary experience, I feel like I am being introduced to the world as new, I feel almost disidentified with everything, like what is all of this really? These results are amazing, I reached such places before but I didn't know how, but still there's a bit of negative, yet vague emotions, and I can't sleep now (not related to the emotions, but I'm super alert), it's 3:53 am here. Any advice or guidance? Thank you a lot Leo, you're amazing!
  15. @Beeman It's what makes you feel better or worse than others. Use this as a guide through everything you do, and see.
  16. @Elia Just go workout, get some highs through sport (for me it was free running), you'll become super conscious for a short while, and it will expand by time, until you will be able to end your addiction. Try this for a month or two. You NEED those highs!
  17. Reality is a pendulum!
  18. What is nature? Imagine if everyone else hears voices in their heads except that one person. If he came and said: they're not voices mere thoughts, they'd definitely send him to psychotherapy.
  19. Right, I shouldn't. But anyways, that's what I think.
  20. @pluto8 Well, no. You gotta explain a little bit.
  21. @theking00 Start by something simple, like videos on YouTube about confidence and the issues that you have. And as for the suffering, practice surrendering to reality, to the present moment, whatever the content is. Try to love and accept everything in your life, and as you accept more, you will be able to change more.
