Start with IFS therapy, the book is called "Self Therapy" by Jay Earley. I'm not even far in this book but it changed a lot. Journaling and honest reflection about what you truly feel. And then: sharing these honest reflections with close friends, making yourself vulnerable, showing yourself exactly as you are. Find people who accept and love you as you are and learn to receive, give and share love. Also, psychedelics can possibly help tremendously, but are not necessary. -

Nobody is Only truth can surrender itself to itself. No person here to achieve the readiness. We don't choose. -

Proper upbringing, shadow work to compensate where the upbringing was unhealthy or lacking, community, cognitive development, emotional work, exploration of life, creativity, and even spiritual practices. Ego/non-ego are not as distinct as we make them out to be. It's like harmonizing the illusion so the correction of wrong beliefs can happen gently. It's not like something went wrong and needs correction. Some beliefs had to be inaccurate in the beginning to get us going but can be updated so to speak once the inaccurate belief is not needed and truth can be allowed. -

This is it. All the other talk about things being a struggle and imperfect are from a perspective that is not ready to surrender everything to Truth. It's either staying there or full devotion to reality just as it is. Then there is only perfection wherever we look. It sounds cheesy but it's true -

For real, we don't know. It just reminds me to really not glorify any teaching whatsoever. But I still love Jesus and all the rest of them ?? +1 -
peanutspathtotruth replied to King Merk's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Ah I see, that actually makes a lot of sense. Just out of curiosity: Would there be a way, theoretically, that you would decide to stay in the relationship while focusing on whatever is your mission right now? Like, finding a compromise between what you two actually want? I mean, do you love her? And if yes, isn't it maybe worth it to find a way? Or maybe she's not the one you see yourself having a future with? -
peanutspathtotruth replied to King Merk's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What if you're actually scared to commit and open up further? Why exactly do you want to leave the relationship? -
It's not bad but it's dysfunctional. If you want to blossom spiritually, emotionally and be in harmony, then yes, this should even be a focus for you. Have you ever made yourself really vulnerable in front of another? Have you shown them that you suffer, that you're not perfect? Have you ever cried because things are so difficult and shown that? Have you communicated to someone deep love and appreciation for them from your heart? These are basics. If you are afraid or feel aversion towards that, it means you feel that you need to defend yourself. You're separating yourself more and more. We all do this to certain degrees. It's all fear. Not many things are as healing as a friend, a partner, or a community that welcomes you to feel and share openly. This is one of the most important shadow work aspects we can implement. But of course we need the right people for that. Nobody likes to open up to someone who doesn't understand, accept or love you. These responses are why we have come to close down in the first place.

Yes, we need healthy ego development to thoroughly progress through the higher stages. This is overlooked a lot -
Yeah you're right, probably misleading title. The understanding is very important but I, too, am interested to get specific and practical. I have a few intuitions about it: - It's a very complex skill and topic and requires a lot of learning by doing and studying - One needs to be attuned and sensitive to these things - again through learning, but also through a lot of healing already integrated - Although there are certainly common patterns to recognize and strategies to follow, I bet a lot of it is specific to each situation and person, and thus requires even more experience, realisation and attunement Also, he already alluded to the point, that most of this needs to happen within a community or human relationship. I can attest to that - a lot of trauma related to intimacy that I tried healing on my own for years was quickly purged and nullified in a relationship. Probably it depends, but as we learned, these traumatic patterns get reinforced through the child parent relationship and thus needs correction through a relationship. Moreover, facing the pain seems essential. I think this is THE key. Sit or be present in a difficult situation and just be with it. Allow space for the pain, penetrate it, allow it to unfold and to hurt. That's a point that's very apparent to me at the moment.

Faith is the deep trust from direct knowing that all is one and all is God - and that all is Love. Even if right now it feels different. In my view, it's not a belief. It has to be grounded again and again through direct experience of what's true. Although I've gone astray so many times - I've had such unmistakably clear encounters with Self/God that there is a faith in my heart that will never be completely quenched, no matter how dark it gets. The faith becomes very quiet, and my mind acts like it's just a fantasy. But the moment you open your heart, the moment you trust, grace grabs you. When most people say they have faith, they may mostly just believe blindly. But never forget, this is all God. God plants the seed of returning/forgiving/realization into all of us. An awakening feels like you have always known, but just forgot in your cloudiness. This knowingness is, I think, always present, very diffracted and distorted, but it's there. -

@ardacigin I see! Got you -
peanutspathtotruth replied to liamnewsom202's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's very apparent - but you'll have to give it up. Don't worry about any escapist routes of abandoning the mind you might have heard of that are dangerous. First give up your mind and decide later - not in 5 minutes, not in 5 months. Do the work first, then see. You don't need thought. And you yourself see how lost in it you are. We all are and that is our detriment. Bite the bullet, put the books down, shut off the computer and phone and do the work. Commit to it for a while. It's really that simple. All else will fall into place ?? Reading your reply really shows me you know this but are afraid. Allow the fear, it's okay. You won't be able to use any of this anyway. Give up the illusion now and be in peace. -
peanutspathtotruth replied to ardacigin's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@ardacigin I like the practice but it just sounds like simple non-manipulative meditation and all the natural insights that follow from that. I would even say I see a bit too much "structure" in your approach which still has potential to keep the mind awake, as in monitoring which stage you're in and what to do next. If you're just sitting with everything exactly as it is: acceptance will arise - even the acceptance of not being able to accept (aka not being able to change the resistance); the inclusion of all phenomena will arise; the recognition of the vibrational, impermanent nature of it all will arise; awareness of Self will arise; insights will arise. But all those arise naturally, guided by grace, the intelligence of the true Self. I think your approach is very powerful, but even those specific stages need to be transcended and let go to make it a sustainable practice. That's my current perspective on it at least. -
peanutspathtotruth replied to liamnewsom202's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@liamnewsom202 You yourself see that it's a mind addiction you're indulging in. And mapping all this out can be helpful. But truth is only found in silence, beyond the concepts. With the resolve that you might turn back to your mental "understanding" and learning later, maybe commit to forget it all and let reality teach you. Be here in truth and let it show you what it really is. Meditate. Don't count breaths, don't do this or that, just sit with reality exactly as it is. Be in silence and surrender. Do this all the time you would normally study or watch videos about this stuff. Do this for a while, do it seriously, and you will see what you actually want to see but have been looking for in your mental models. -

Amazing - to see and admit this is already a big, and honestly a difficult, step. Because it dismantles the mind with its absolute statements of what it thinks all this means. You don't know - and neither do I. This is great because it allows us to question all the beliefs we have or want to have. Do you really know it's all that shitty? Or if you're honest, are you just feeling pain? Yeah, it sucka to feel that, I know. But does that really tell you anything about Truth? It's just an open question. -
peanutspathtotruth replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here Very valid perspective. And very important to face the reality that it feels so burdening. There are other perspectives which are also valid. For example: - since we're wearing this body temporarily, and since we are not in actuality this body (of course this has to be seen and is extremely difficult - still in the process of this), all this becomes an episode of play, like an experiment, a short adventure infinity is taking to explore itself as limited and able to re-unite. God is one, but what does it feel like to feel itself as multiple who are still one but can join and commune, talk and share, and recognize the Self in each other? - the body is an incredibly intelligent machine - the moment we're not identified and just observe it, as in: "wow, what a unique opportunity to watch/relate/embody such an intricate creation of intelligence". Without the past encrusted in thought, the body is pure magic and an amazing piece of art which we chose to enjoy for a while. That we chose this I don't truly know. But more and more, it really feels like we did. It makes much more sense than "being randomly born into a body without asking for it". Just doesn't really click for me anymore. All this is too perfectly designed for this to be so. But I don't know absolutely. - the body doesn't mean anything. pain doesn't mean anything, pleasure doesn't mean anything. It's just what it is and "we" are creating it, experiencing it, seeing it decay and die. But we don't die. And we're not made of this body. This body is made of us and there is neither something special nor something terrible about this. It's just what it is. <-- This is a great help for seeing through the pain/pleasure illusion. After all, I found being grateful for having this experience - even though I don't know WHY THE HELL I am having it - makes me really humble and in love with the body. It is truly a gift. It is a deep trust in reality being perfect. I've seen it. I don't see it now but I've seen it - perfectly clearly. And since then, I trust that this is exactly what's supposed to be here, and when there is a lot of suffering and pain involved, it has a purpose. Love is the driving force of all of this. And Love knows. This thinking makes the thinking itself dissolve and reveal the Truth of it. This basic trust is important, even essential. Otherwise the pain gets too intense and being identified with it unbearable. If need be, the intensity will crack our hearts open and make room for light shining through. I feel like this is what's going on. But it's only a perspective in the end -
peanutspathtotruth replied to Khan 0's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I feel you, I really do. Most everyone does at some point, but won't admit it. Do you hold it as a possibility, just a chance, that this perspective and view you are having right now is just that - a perspective? And that maybe it is not the ultimate truth? That it is a thought, a belief that is formed around the unbearable suffering you feel and/or see happening in this world? I get why you're thinking this. But this work we're doing is to see that thought and even emotion is not a messenger of truth. It is at most a very very compelling story. But maybe that story is not true. I'm not saying you're wrong. But are you open enough to consider that you are? No reason to think of love and unity and all that if you don't actually experience it. But without being open to the possibility that you're just misperceiving reality, you can't let in what's actually there. Whatever that might be. I just want to say to you, from someone who has suffered and is suffering but is seeing it as an illusion - don't indulge in this thought. It's not true. And beyond, healing and transformation awaits, and although this process is immensely painful - it is the only way to see reality for what it is. And all I can say is, that what I've seen reality to be (and you've seen it, too, maybe just forgotten) - wow... just wow. Beautiful beyond comprehension. All of it. All the confusion starts with the I. You're not being punished. You're called to open your heart and your eyes. From your Self! <3 -

Not coming off as harsh at all, thank you for the feedback. I agree with what you're saying. I like the fonts (Antic and Antic Didone), but you're right that they don't seem optimal for the text. Thank you! Interesting that you say that, in the phase of creating the website, it definitely came from quite an impersonal place - and I liked that, too. Thanks!! -
I recently had a big shift happening in my life. After several years of intense spiritual practice, I just had to accept the fact that my work has to be in the spiritual realm - deepening my own realization and helping others to walk this same path of coming home to love, to heaven, to infinite beauty. So I took the Life Purpose Course, just to be sure. And yes, confirmed. Now I'm embarking on a journey of teaching meditation, coaching people 1-on-1 on their spiritual path and practice, and offering advanced guided meditations online regularly. After a lot of preparation, my first meditation is now online and I'm so happy about all of this already hard work paying off. This is obviously only the very start, but I feel so very alive to act in alignment with my heart. It's about every moment being in alignment with the devotion and love that I feel for all of you. For we are one. And we are beautiful. I love you <3 This is my first guided meditation: And this is my website: bloomascension.com Feel free to offer feedback if you have any

Amazing, thank you for this detailed feedback! I see your points and agree. I'll implement them. Thank you! -
I think part of it is detaching from and seeing through the incessant need to get too much done every day. When I did the Notion series of August Bradley on YouTube, he mentioned doing just a few urgent things every day and not cluttering your task list. You can't do it all and that is okay. Prioritiy assessment is again key here. Todoist or a proper Notion system or something in that direction help immensely. Just find out: what is priority 1? And what can wait? And those tasks that can wait you can further assess as to what is not really that important and what should be looked into soon. Regarding the spiritual work: the reason I'm spending so much time on it (and it's not realistic every day), is because my life purpose is spiritual work and teaching. So every hour I spend meditating I see as life purpose work. Otherwise, of course I would not be able to spend nearly as much time. Keep that in mind when you hear others being super committed is because this might be their number one or two highest priority. No one juggles full on work, spirituality, exercise, friends, hobbies and all that in a normal day. You gotta decide
