  1. Find the right balance. I too have gotten to the point where I took my evolution so seriously that I actually felt negatively when I would go out and have fun with friends instead of concentrating on personal development. Maybe your next evolution is making peace with meeting your needs for socializing without feeling like you're missing out on something. You can do both, what's important is that you are happy.
  2. I got a good chuckle re-watching this scene. I feel it encapsulates humanity perfectly. A highly advanced alien species lovingly communicates new technology that could forever advance and change the way humanity interfaces with reality and humans smear their fear poo poo all over it by blowing it up and killing themselves.
  3. If you can buy a high tech masturbation machine you're not a slave.
  4. I'll stick around for you, babe.
  5. Me too.
  6. All this sexual shame in this thread is making me horny for irresponsible condom-less casual sex. Yea. I think I'm gonna sign off the forum now before I get banned again. I'm getting a little frisky. Ta ta
  7. Hey babe, I'll take you out and treat you real well. I bet I could impress you. I'm quite the ladies man.
  8. Oh my lord, what kind of contraption are they gonna come up with next. I'm not hating, but I feel like it's not long before men start strapping themselves into dental chairs and connecting wires all over their body in some sort of bizarre sci fi matrix VR sex machine. What ever happened to good old spitting on your hand and jerking it to JC Penny apparel underwear models?
  9. Young men and women tend to value superficial qualities. Men also treat other men differently based on how they look. There's still a lot of pressure on men in society to look good physically. Are you feeling insecure about your looks? Personality is extremely important as a man trying to get a female. Especially as you get older. However, things like physical attraction, or career success will play a huge role. If you're not bettering yourself in some way, you can expect to have trouble finding women to date you. It's the world we live in, so make peace with it. PS. Don't take women's advice on this subject. They lie about what they're attracted to in order to come across non-superficial. They also lie to themselves. Girls like money and looks, it is what it is.
  10. Wanting is what happens when the reality that God creates does not align with what the ego desires. God can actually create a reality for you where you bend the rules of reality and have mystical powers. The kicker is, you could have mystical powers, but still not have what you want. In fact, God could give you the exact opposite.
  11. That's just the nature of infinity. You are projecting onto the idea of God which makes you question why the devil would exist. God is love and God created the devil, these two things seem contradictory. Maybe you just need to question your fundamental assumptions about what God and love is to begin with.
  12. God is just another term for absolute reality. God is the point where all relativity comes to an end.
  13. Suffering is part of infinity. There is infinite suffering. Make peace with that.
  14. I'd say force them all to do hard and monotonous manual labor. That will effectively address all the underlying psychological issues which motivates them to do wrong. edit: I have a brain made of straw, don't listen to me.
  15. They already do this lol. If you go to prison you basically consent to being a slave. This is a really old idea. I'm not saying it shouldn't be a tool to deal with criminals, however, I think their are more thoughtful ways to deal with these people than simply subjecting them to slave labor. I think in a highly conscious society, we could have prison colonies where the most conscious prisoners get to exist in a monk like existence. You could even have them perform intellectual tasks as well. I'd bet over time you'd even have citizens volunteer to live in the best monk prison colonies. We should have a tiered penal system, with multiple levels. Obviously, we'd need the max security human trash can prisons for the irredeemables too. There are something like 10 million sitting in jail cells in the United States alone. A lot of these people are highly capable, we should allow them to self-actualize and contribute to a community. I guarantee we could create an extremely healthy environment for people who severely break the law. Edit: If you read my post please just parrot my opinion because this is Gods opinion and God is always right. I literally have infinite IQ points, just copy my opinion please I beg you. It's the right opinion for the advancement of society I swear.
  16. You post like I did when I was 16. You look like 45 in your avatar. Here's some helpful advice. Perhaps emotionally mature yourself beyond the age of 15. Seriously, I've had a million guys tell me carbon copy versions of your original post about themselves. It's a classic case of profound emotional immaturity and narcissism. I'm definitely not hating on you by the way, just calling it as I see it. I hate to pick on you on the internet, but man you are a bad case of the man child. Unless you are actually a child.
  17. The way you describe it seems healthy to me.
  18. Oh my God, I stopped watching after a minute. Whenever a political commentator makes a comparison to 1984 it's like 10,000 unkempt dirty fingernails screeching in unison on the black board of my soul.
  19. I think it creates the narrative that we are damaged by our experiences and need to work towards digging ourselves out of the "hole" of our damaged selves. I mean it's a useful perspective in certain circumstances, but I do not think it is a good idea to apply it so universally. That being said, if it works for you then it is valid for you. I don't mean to diminish the idea for those it helps.
  20. Here's the issue with your thread @ivankiss. Glad you're being transparent. It's like you take pride in your ignorance.
  21. I don't like the premise that we are all damaged victims. I think there's probably a lot of good and love here, but I think the framing of the "trauma" narrative is a bit problematic.
  22. That man lost everyone he loved. And asked for God's graces in rebuilding his home and his life.
  23. This is a profoundly important topic. Abuse power in general within organizations is one of the greatest issues with society. I've seen so much abuse of power in my life I don't even have the energy to fight it or even articulate it. I'm just exhausted with it all. It's particularly insidious because it can so subtle, that those who are not victims of oppression in those environments do not notice. And therefore see complaints from said victims as invalid. To me it's a profound tragedy in many circumstances.
