@Anderz I summarize: You like Trump because he is against Human made Climate Change, but pro saving the Environment - he said so. You view him as anti-manipulation, but you have no proof. But soon something massively important happens and then you tell me that you told me now. Also you have many reasons to like him. Is that right? -

@Anderz I wouldn't believed it before but now you've convinced me... wait what? No!^^ How did you come to this conclusion? -

well, i'm sure that we need a hell lot more studies and not quick fix solutions which may sound cool, but are bad in application. there is not enough focus on intelligence. with that said, why is trump good in that regard? i would argue that he stands for ignorance and fuck the environment, lets make money, isn't he? Amaze me with your wisdom. -

@28 cm unbuffed Therapy sounds good. How do you like it? I need to spoiler you. In my Opinion that's very likely a recipe for disaster. I don't took LSD, so maybe I'm wrong BUT I would not recommend it someone who feels not sane. I know a bunch of people who where not sane before and who got really insane afterwards. If there were a Therapy where they trip-sit you professionally it would be an idea but.. this intention to just get quicker out of your Misery could be part of the problem. Put one piece together, then the next and so on and so you build a great life day by day -

@28 cm unbuffed aah ok, it's sometimes not easy to get that through text. what do you do to make progress? -
supremeyingyang replied to Nak Khid's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
well, the question remains what you mean with socialistic country? do you mean just a country which implements a system which is fairer and thus more social compared with how it's today or do you mean a derivat from marxism, which i claim is not able to work at all. -

And why is that? -
supremeyingyang replied to Nak Khid's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
@roar aw c'mon.. not real scotsman at it's best. maybe not by the unreachable rule book, but plenty self proclaimed... i mean we can strive to make societies more fair, yeah. but this is not that easy as the last century proofed. so the intention is good, the way they implemented it - not. There are many problems with the Socialist Theory in Application (yes!^^). ...aaaand even if you could remove the Problems you would need a majority in green to make it happen.. good luck with that even in the advanced countries in the next 50 years. If you want i can qualify what I mean -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_socialist_states#Current_socialist_states _____________________________________________________________________________________________ It baffles me that so less people get the difference between Social Democratic and Socialist. Let me put it that way: The US made up it's own Definition and it's not good if you talk to Europeans - just like the 'Imperial and US customary measurement systems' and Countries with the good ol' metric System^^ -

@Anderz You are right on long term planing, the west is bad at that. But for the rest - the west is just old and fat and overall not agile any more. That's the cycle of Cultures, now will the Asians rise. After that they grow anti agile and maybe the West rises again or it's Africa that time. Just the flow of events and nothing is permanent. At the end of the day it's all good. -

The Chinese call 1840 to 1940 百年耻辱, google it's meaning and you realize where they are coming from. They where on top of the world EVER - except the last centuries. Conclusion: They are somewhat eager to restore the old order, but who knows what Mistakes were already made and what will come in the next decades. Examples are rapid pollution and sometimes very bad central planing only make able because they are in a boom.. plus a lot of people in China are traditionally are very, very uneducated. Their Society is more Elitist if you will. Trump on the other hand could have introduced the century of humiliation for the usa. When talking about the US I have to think about Ikarus^^ Tik Tok is just some noice, but it's interesting to see the Apps get continually get more easy to access (means: stupid people can use it) as time goes by -

@Anderz except the last 200 years, eh? in the grand strategy games like hearts of iron you call what china does with taiwan 'adding a state to the sphere of influence'. i wouldn't say that they fool the west, the west fool itself far more than the chinese do -

who says i do trust every uncritically? as a statistician i like to think in probabilities. could be the truest thing ever, but I'm neither into Biology nor Medicine and I learn chinese, abap, javascript and a couple of scripting languages so I think it's a little to far fetched to research that shit as well would you summarize that research? this is painfully obvious. i have to fight for every clear word:D be sure i do.. damn i would like to shoot a punchline -
supremeyingyang replied to Nak Khid's topic in Society, Politics, Government, Environment, Current Events
Dude, his point is that there weren't 1,3 Million People. Don't distract, what do you say about it? true, never good to follow someone blindly you mean biologically or as a narrative? They get infected and because they are overworked some of them they die. Or what do you suggest? Hitmans?^^ you have it really with that guy, hopefully you aren't too loyal to him, if he is wrong so are you .... man you guys may know I've attempt to write these books about how to get through the strange times today with spiral dynamics and this thread is pure gold -

Thanks for sharing. Nothing wrong with that, but that Picture is wicked. About what happens with Covid and Vaccination I have split opinions. Many People have Problem with the forced Vaccination, certainly not me, but we can discuss the alternative. As I understand it you take it and your safer, so let People choose and if the People who don't do it have significant Problems they see it. Corona, or Public Discourse in general, has to be thought of entirely new. You just can't ignore People, they elected for example Trump. But if you have a Crisis you have to do what you think is right as a elected member of the states cabinet. A whole other discussion are the things that will get pushed through in the wind shadow of every crisis. For example they tried to raise some taxes here in germany, but they failed due to protests Edit: I need to make it clear that I find social distancing a good solution
