I just joined a group for Adult Children of Alcoholics. It’s mostly the same steps as AA but I just wanted to ask everyone here if you have used these type of groups to advance your spiritual work? Do they work? Apparently the guys who invented AA first used LSD to get sober from alcohol.

At the free tour they upsell you on the hotseat and boot camp. I paid for the hotseat, 300, and it was not bad but you need to apply the lessons. The boot camp is like 2k I think but probably like 3k a head now.
