    Both options have always been the case and anyone can choose between either of them because freedom is inherent in reality, not because of lack of ideology.

    Yep youre free to choose which one you like however one will lead to freedom and non ideological thinking the other will keep you stuck.

    which makes you limited in actuality to freedom

    This gives you complete freedom to move in and out of any ideologies. The thinking mind wont get you there.

    Of course, but that's not the point of this thread. OP is inquiring the stances we have on ideology.

    Trying to be non-ideological is itself a form of unwillingness to see other world views because it holds firmly only the idea of being non-ideological to be true, when in fact, it isn't. Rather, it's just a non-ideological ideology that does not allow any other ideologies but itself, which is exactly what all ideologies do, and how all them are. Hinduism does not allow any other religion or worldview to exist unless it is in accordance with its rules and a priori. And so are all other ideologies. There is nothing different or special about this, because ideology is inherent in humans who are capable of thinking, and therefore inevitable. I would even argue that it exists in the DNA of all beings, or even more fundamental than that, it exists in the core of all things. But that's too far from here, and apparently even Leo is not ready to hear that, so let's keep it simple and focused.

    You can let go of all of that then you are free from ideology. Whatever the mind comes up with let go and dont attach to it then you are free.

    Thoughts = ideas = ideology.

    An ideology is more than just this. Its the inability to be to able move from the stance of the thoughts and ideas. It's an unwillingness to see other world views and hold firmly only this idea to be true.

    No... xD

    Qanon is about demonization, the kind of curiosity Im talking about takes tremendous love and openmindedness. For example Qanon might say Hillary Clinton is evil, what Im talking about instead is actually seeing her as a human being and learning about her strengths and faults instead of making a caricature out of her, this can be done with everyone you consider "evil". Demonization and caricatures take you further away from truth, the ego loves to paint people with devil horns because its exciting and self-serving.

    Try it out, think of someone close to you that you really really despise, try to give them an objective and fair shake, not so easy as it seems.

    Yea i've tried this out quite a bit. I like how retrospectively if you do it enough you always catch the egos games out and realise these ppl aren't the construct the mind creates.

    What i'm trying to say is you can be non judgemental and open to seeing points of view, but without discernment you could easily get lost and unable to navigate any of the terrain which could get you lost in Qanon. It's this discernment that means you wont get lost in the conspiracy theories - I know in spiritual circles the word judgement is a negative word but I see it as a positive, you need to judge people to understand how they relate to the world and use your mental maps to piece together what they are. The key is not condemning them for any of it with acceptance and understanding.

    There is nothing "high" or "low"

    Yea i agree. Many people fall into this same trap here when talking about spiral dynamics. It's not higher or lower they are earlier and later stages of development as Susanne Cook-Greuter so beautifully emphasises. If you always see the stages as higher or lower you aint ever gonna be integral as you will be endlessly seeing some better than others.

    See, when you take $1000 and turn it into $1,000,000 via BitCoin, you've just figured out how to turn a few teachers, farmers, and retail clerks into your wages slaves. That is literally what you are doing, but you've masked it as something else so you can sleep well at night.

    I dont get how it turns teachers, farmers and retail clerks into slaves? Are you saying that by investing you are giving money to large corporations that can enslave "real workers"? You could always invest in a conscious company although they might not be as profitable.

  7. Don't you think using coup is a bit over exaggerated though as it's a word like terrorist that the media likes to use to dramatise events unfolding. A Coup is a heavy word for serious attempts to topple governments not a riot like this. Could these people including a shaman and John from Michigan run into the capitol to overthrow the government?  Then just take selfies? What happened in Turkey I would say is more like an official coup.
