When you are burdened with protecting a Self, it’s hard to be compassionate to others, that’s all. Compassion comes from transcending the ‘Paradigm of Self Or No Self’.

It’s hard show a lot of love to others when you yourself are suffering a lot.

Yeah, I just don’t like it. It really doesn’t resonate with me to direct any kind of judgment against the people who come to Personal Development looking for light — as flawed as they might be. There are better battles for us to fight in life — especially if you’re a Personal Development teacher! This ‘eating our young’ distraction is just dumb in my eyes — and hurtful to others too. Nobody likes to be called stupid or crazy. Imagine if your college teacher called you stupid or crazy! No good, right. Even if you are stupid or crazy — it’s still no good, see. Your job is to help those people, to have compassion directed toward those people, to see an earlier you in those people. There was a day, maybe years ago, when yes you Galyna asked a dumb and crazy question about Personal Development too, was there not? Can you put yourself in other people’s shoes? Don’t turn this into an ego battle or competition between me and Leo — all that does is show us your Ego. And I’ve criticized you on a similar kind of ground once before as I recall.

Leo’s a good guy. It’s just he and I have a little bit of a different Perspective on this narrow issue. And you definitely don’t wanna force yourself to be compassionate, that puts the cart before the horse — and will take you further downstream of Enlightenment. Compassion results from Enlightenment — and it's unforced. It’s not an ideological compassion. It’s a letting things BE kind of compassion. It’s an acceptance of the moment kind of compassion. It’s a BE-into the moment kind of compassion. You think your limited Perspective and experience on this matter allows for such a strong conclusion? How do you know that about the people who do Enlightenment Work?

I don’t like this need to demonize others. Really, that’s just the Self trying to elevate itself over other people. You tell me how you substantiate your ‘correlation’. And you’re always on the Forum yourself — so don’t you get captured in your own over-hasty conclusion too? I admit that I’m getting a little triggered by this because the awesome people on here are doing the right thing, and yet they get called crazy or redundant or what not. You wanna be more supportive as a personal development guide — and you’re a good guide too. You wanna be happy about and supportive of the people who come on here. These are the fabulous few who dare to work on themselves, just like you and me many years ago. And some of these people on here have been doing this longer than we have.

You’re thinking of people as a monolith. What you fail to see is that each of those people are individuals walking their own unique personal development path. That’s like walking into a college math class and complaining that people are discussing the same ole shit year after year. Of course they are! But see, it’s different people going though the same process to learn year after year. Same goes for Personal Development.

If you think 98% of forum posts are nonsense, you're in the wrong business Leo. I think that's ass-backwards. It makes me question your judgment. From my perspective and experience, 98% of the Forum posts are legit and 2% are pointless. You're still way too judgmental Leo. You're not accepting yet. You still wanna define yourself as above things too much. That's the Self looking to cling to significance. You shouldn't have that if you're as Enlightened as you should be by this point.

Give your definition of a mental case. Then we can have a discussion. Otherwise, this is just a distraction. You're distracted. It's your problem, and you're projecting it externally.

AN INSIGHT I HAD ABOUT STAGE ORANGE If you get married and have kids, your Life Purpose is pretty much stuck in your marriage and family. And I think a lot of people find a home in that Marriage & Family Framework -- and they have a huge need for money too, right. So, that's the kind of person who can really flower-out in Stage Orange. They kinda have their own little system that they're feeding, and what they need most is lots of money. Their happiness comes from their family, not from their work. Their work is what they need to do to make as much money as possible for their family. That's the kind of person that's tee'd up to flourish in Stage Orange. And I totally get it, there's nothing wrong with that. If you know you have this amazing system of your Marriage & Family that's depending on you to bring home lots of money, you're gonna be less picky and whiny about what you do for a living. Maybe you'll be a salesman or something, right. If you knew you were doing that to feed this amazing system you had at home, maybe you would be so strong that you would relish that sacrifice, actually. You'd be valuing making lots of money much more so than many other people would. The value of a job for Stage Orange is how much money you can make, and that's not unreasonable for these people, considering their circumstances. So, we gotta make careful we're not looking at everything from our own Perspective and putting our own Perspective on a pedestal. There are many different roads one can take in life. Stage Orange is not in any way less of a valid path in life than Stage Turquoise is.

You gotta find your Life Purpose. Do Leo’s Life Purpose Course, it’s a good one. And even after you find your Life Purpose, that’s just the tip of the iceberg. You’re gonna spend the rest of your life implementing your Life Purpose.

Don’t make the mistake of clinging to relativity as a true paradigm. Yellow might think of relativity as a useful framework, but not as a true paradigm. It’s Green that thinks of relativity as a true paradigm, not Yellow. You gotta be careful with trying to replace one paradigm with another. Yellow is not doing that.

Very nice. Here’s the best attitude I’ve found in dealing with personal development teachers — take what’s useful to you, leave what’s not. I think of Jordan Peterson the same way. Take what’s useful to me, leave what’s not.

These debates of I'm smarter than you are na na' na na' na! Such a distraction from one's actual problem situations in life. What does comparison with another person have to do with sustainably solving your own problem situations in life? I'm Turquoise! Great, go handle your own life and then come and tell me how Turquoise you are. Turquoise is not wasting time measuring their shaft and trying to compare it to others. None of that is relevant -- it's all a distraction.

That's a great question for contemplation!

ON ‘NOT CARING’: IT'S NOT A DOING, A CLINGING, OR A KNOWING -- IT'S A SURRENDERING TO BE-ING IN THE MOMENT WITHOUT PRE-JUDGMENTS OR PRE-EXPECTATIONS Just BE and accept the moment, whatever it is. You don't wanna ideologically not care, that's a trap. In other words, don’t try to not care. And also don’t try to not not care, that’s also a trap. In other words, don’t be ideologically non-ideological either.

THE ROLE AND FUNCTION OF NON-DUALITY IN ENLIGHTENMENT THEORY Non-duality is a pointer to Enlightenment, not a set of beliefs or a paradigm to be clung to. Enlightenment is surrendering to BE-ing in the moment without pre-judgments or pre-expectations; and it's also a transcendence of all paradigms, including but not limited to the 'Paradigm of Self Or No Self'.

ARE BABIES ENLIGHTENED? Maybe! But they lose it as soon as they start clinging to the Paradigm of Self. Enlightenment is surrendering to BE-ing in the moment without pre-judgments or pre-expectations; and it's also a transcendence of all paradigms, including but not limited to the 'Paradigm of Self Or No Self'. Babies haven't even been programmed with paradigms, so they've transcended all paradigms because they haven't learned them yet. At a certain point though, the babies will start clinging to the Paradigm of Self and start getting triggered by things in their experience that are not aligned with what their wants. That's definitely game over for Enlightenment. The Paradigm of Self, which creates a Self, causes the baby to identify with the Ego in their experience, and they start to take things personally and get offended by certain things in experience, etc.
