  1. Your scarcity mentality will make everybody reject you. The rich gets richer the poor gets poorer. If you want to attract people give first, bring good emotions, value, and people will want to spend time with you. But the first stem is accept being alone and be happy alone, as ajasatia say, learn to be in the most absolute solitude and see there's nothing wrong, then your neediness will go away. Learn to dont give a fuk if you have friends or not.
  2. You describen my life. And then we rationalize people see me as the quiet guy who never talks, if I talk now people will think I'm weird. The trick is forget the quiet guy tag that others put to you and that is limiting you. Meet new people from zero, the first day make an effort and talk a lot. It will be exhausting but the next days socializing will become effortless.
  3. I remember Osho said in a book that a meditator's diet have to be light with lots of vegetables. For example if your purpose requires mental performance, intelligence, intuition you need low sugar foods, and easy digestible foods so dont require so much blood to your stomach and the full potential goes to your brain. In the other way your purpose requires physical habilities then you need the sport-fitness diet with lots of carbs and proteins. Also I know that being in ketosis enhances mental processes.
  4. As people is more aware tend to take care of which foods they put in his body, avoiding trash food for example. Should we be so careful with what we let enter into our head via movies, music...? Sometimes I find myself in a pessimistic or negative mood and in an excercise of awareness I think, Oh I get it! This morning when I was in my car the radio played this depressing song and it has affect me my entire day!!!! It can be seen in depressing melodies or negative lyrics. mainstream media has good things but very bad ones also. Neediness, clinginess, lack of purpose: "I'm nothing without you" "My life was nothing untill I met you" " I've lost my illusions since you left me" These innocent romantic lyrics are devastating and set wrong believe systems reducing all purpose and existance to the aproval of one mortal person, dont this looks stupid? I expect some new age responeses of somebody that will say: Hey acceptance, non-resistance accept all music. Then I'll reply yes acceptance why dont you go to mcdonalds yo woo-woo vegan, stop resisting and accept this bigmac! I dont think we should accept bad stuff that make our life miserable.
  5. A young guy that owns the channel "Destroying the Illusion" is my fave conspiracy investigator, most of their arguments make sense, clearly explained in a board with understable language.
  6. What Aaron seems foolish about is that impact or purpose is almost imposed by society like if it was necessary to be happy. IMO having an impact is a self-imposed burden that like other ego issues will lead to frustration, suffering and deceptions.
  7. I think it's the opposite. When we were babies we were happy by default and we had zero progress in life. Then we learned to become unhappy. And now we need to fix our mind. Or better said, dis-learn.
  8. Eat lots of watermelon, it has arginine that is vasodilator and the blood vessels of your skin will refresh more. Also cold showers and put your bed near to the balcony to sleep comfortably.
  9. How do you reach to the last point of no-thing? I've real several times in hunduist-buddhist books that we are the witness, the observer. If we are nothing, who is the aware?
  10. well If you got social anxiety and your socialization is forced maybe the stress you suffer wount be good for your heart health.
  11. I was thinking to start a topic about it but I saw your. There's a lot of New Age weird concepts that we dont know if are true or a Scam: -Soul contract revocations and Declarations of Sovereignty: basically they say we are slaves of the archons from before birth . -Twin flames -Ascension -Indigos Does somebody have proofs of this nonsense? Are this concepts from some ancient wisdom book like the Kybalion or just invention of woo-woo people?
  12. I think there's something more profound, and I'd even say that fetishes are genetic, like character. When I was I kid I played with my neighbour. She liked to roleplay as a family in a toy-kitchen she had. I always convinced her to put us mutually duct tape in our mouths ( I argimented that this would avoid us to be biten by mosquitoes) but this is a clear sign I was into domination fetish. In the 80s and as a 5 yo kid as you can see there was zero porn influence. All my childhood I was peleased when somebody tried to dominate me, I dont know why.
  13. Every summer when all the masses leave my city to go to their vacation destinantions I have a big epiphany: Without the massification and traffic congestion I feel happy, less anxiety, all the stress disappear and I love enjoying a walk without people. Then in september when the overpopulation comes back Its like a big competition, you have to fight with everybody in every place, every row, even to pay yo have to make rows. I get really angry and depressed ath the same time with all the noises, pollution, rude people... I've decided that my future purpose will be to buy a ground in the countryside and put a prefab house. I want to plant fruit trees, grow my vegetables without all the gmo and poisons, enjoy meditation in the forest and some day have a family there. I actually live a minimalist lifestyle, with my parents because I doont make enough money. I think the biggest payoff to afford buying a home in nature will be to be a financial slave for 15-20 years probably in a 9-5 shitty job to pay the mortgage. Do you guys think the sacrifice will worth it?
  14. It seems the nice guy syndome. If you have the oportunity read No more Mr nice guy
  15. In my opinion the classical pickup is good for one night stands. If you want to have a long term relationship Its better to work on your masculine traits like: Being a leader grounded and unreactive freedom from outcome be clear on your intent and unapologetic with your sexuality build your ecosystem of positive emotions so you wont bee needy with the girl
  16. I'm 34 yo and still inrternet/gambling addicted. The only thing that worked is to have a busy agenda or not step home. I also experimented struggling with focus on meditation and I blame multitasking. Form me Its usual play some game while listening some youtube video while cooking rice in the kitchen... that leads to attention problems.
  17. maybe you are right. when I was I kid I was a bit shy, and I remember going with my father to the forest and playing there hiding me and feeling safe and peaceful, so maybe subconsciously now as an adult I'm looking for these old good feelings. And for the purpose, I'm against this since I read Osho explainind that life has no purpose, life is the purpose. Isnt enjoying human experience with pure presence and full intensity enough to be blissful? I dont want a life purpose, I just want a lifestyle that allow me to enjoy life, not modern slavery.
  18. Long time ago I watched your guided No-self experience and trust me I experienced true peace and bliss. I discovered that what prevents me from hapiness is having duties, obligations, and social conditioning. I felt like when I was born that didnt had yet any past and future and I was free. Thats why I see living in nature, minimalist, in a relative financial freedom will take me to the same state of contentment when I was I kid and didnt had to fit in the matrix working every day, paying taxes and in general forced to do and be who I'm not.
  19. I dont pretend to find happiness directly living in the countryside, but it will give me PEACE. If I'm at ease with a good mood is more likely to be inspired to do meaningful things instead of living in the city full of rage, anger resentment and hate to humanity because they dont let me sleep with they noises, disrespect and rudeness.
  20. I dont want to choose a purpose like a calling of oh I'm gonna go to Africa to help people, or invent something that makes people life's better... We arent good just and one thing, everybody can do everything with the right motivation. I find it stupid to cling into one specific purpose and dedicate all life, focus and energy because this is a form of attachment. Living life itself is the purpose, and in my opinion following a purpose is limiting because excludes all other options.
  21. Think about this question: Do you love playing video games, or do you love making them, because there's a huge difference. I love sport, and love to train, I decided to study to be a personal trainer. But in the end I hated having to convince people to train, having to motivate lazy people, dealing with undisciplined people, clients that rely more on TV and magazines than what I say. fancy and appealing professions arent as shiny as they seem.
  22. Dont be tempted to talk to this things with your friends, family, partners, .... they are not preparet nor open minded to accept the truth. When I talked about the nature of the self and reality to my sister and mother ther told me I was crazy and needed psychologycal help. Let them stay in the matrix, this journey has to be lived alone.
  23. The price you pay to learn something from fictional characters is that you accept unconsciously some wrong believe systems and contaminated reality.
  24. I remember being a kid and thinking that one day I’d never exist anymore, that cruel idea made me sweat and dizzy. In my adolescence I accepted death and viewed life as a gift that has to be lived to the max. Then in my twenties I started reading Buddha, Deepak Chopra and opened my mind to the possibility of reincarnation. From then I’ve read every theory about afterlife. First I was into David Icke, repeating his words like a parrot: I’m infinite awareness living a human experience. There’s also the Quantum Consciousness theory by Stuart Hameroff. The Biocentrism by Robert lanza, everything is created by our mind. I’ve read lots of books but all end up without showing clear explanations or conclusions. In the other hand the scientific community denies afterlife, and I became angry when Stephen hawking said that afterlife is just a fairytale for those who are afraid of the dark. There’s another interesting theory in reddit that the brain on DMT released when we die creates a long afterlife and its eternal because in DMT the time passes very slow… Even it has been denied, I’ve always clinged, well (my ego) clinged to every hope of afterlife: Near death experiences when the patient was clinically dead, and was able to report everything that happened on the room, and the exact words of the doctors. Those who claim astral projections out of the body. The No location of the consciousness inside the brain. Like the brain was the receptor of consciousness who is located in other side of the universe… Leo told us in a shocking video that the SELF doesn’t exist, so what remains after the lost of memories, body, ego, energy? The perceiver, the consciousness. But how will my consciousness after losing his human identity be aware that it’s the consciousness that witnessed my life and not the consciousness of my neighbor? That’s sad. And moreover, I’ve recently read A Watts, Out Of the trap, in the last chapter Tribute to carl Jung, he admits that reincarnation, Buddhism, and enlightenment is a big fat lie, and that is impossible to separate the ego of the true self because it’s the same. I feel so fooled. If somebody has access to this book, please Id like to comment the last chapter with you.
