They exist. Siddhis are not something tied to liberation per say. You can meet l yogis and such people who have these siddhis to various degrees but not be more liberated than anyone else. Hale Dwoskin from the Sedona Method has talked about how he met a yogi he was with and he walked across water. Sadhguru’s biography talks about this same thing. These powers do not require some “super human enlightenment”. I had a coworker in retail who was VERY clarivoyant. She actually couldn’t stand it and as she put it “turned it off because it was annoying”. Understand though that at the end of the day all of this stuff is just more experience. They may sound crazy and cool but it’s just more sugary experience. I’ve had certain spontaneous yet very psychic siddhi experiences but so what? It’s more experience. Truth and enlightenment is 10000000x more worth pursuing than some juvenile experiences. Since when are the majority of people generally right on anything? Much less what’s possible.

Mahavira is a strong influential force in India. Once again. Cultural conceptual baggage and stories. Look at the actual person’s life. Those are two different things. Having a teacher you go to and eventually go beyond is very different than purely being a discipline and sannyasi to Sadhguru for example. The far majority of deeply enlightened masters did most of the heavy lifting on their own. This brings more results because those people have a thirst for Truth so they take full responsibility for their craving. Which is why even most people who are into nonduality in practice often don’t go all the way. They don’t want it enough. Which is to say though should. However, those rare indivuals go to the source directly without distraction. No guru is going to do the work for you nor was it going to do it for them.

Is it possible to not only transcend but invent an entirely new more effective self for operating in the world? I know this is the core of Ralstons work on what he calls “Transformation” (Pursuing Consciousness) as has Sadhguru So for example, I can transcend my character as one that is represented as a Enneagram Type 6 and MBTI INFP into a consciously invented self that’s more effective towards realizing my life purpose for example. I know Wilber has said those things are pretty set in stone but (character traits and attributes) for the most part but I find my attributes just don’t align with what I would want to actualize as a life purpose.

None of this is what talking about in terms of transformation. Improvement of what’s already so is not transformation. None of the examples you brought up are transformation from the basis of what I’m talking about. David Goggins was an extremely traumatized and neurotic indinvidual and channeled that neurosis into a neurosis that got him to great levels of personal improvement. His ego structure is still very much similar though. This is not what I’m talking about. PUAs get good at manipulating their insecurity in such a way where they’re good at internalizing it and still get results with women. However, the same ego structure deep down is still in tact. Thins is going to be hard to explain if you haven’t gone over the work of someone like Ralston or something similar. You're talking about the change of something external at the end of the day. I’m talking a total tranformation in the internal mechanics. You cannot really achieve the transformation I’m referring to without enlightenment. However I’m trying to get more perspectives on this matter.
