  1. @now is forever A model that I think explains this very well is the Myers-Briggs personality model. I definitely know a few introverts who are very shallow. Definitely no one is the same and someone isn't just one or the other, there's more to it. I know where he lives and what he has regularly as a snack. Vegas and super healthy blueberry smoothies
  2. @Inliytened1 I think Leo has already met his basic needs. He has already helped a ton of people with his videos, and I'm sure he's set financially. Based on his last video, he mentioned that continuing with Actualized.org is just milking millions of dollars "more". So from that I assume he's already made over a million in profit from his LP course. He has over 840K subs, and 40k+ views of people who regularly watch his content. If only 5000 of those people bought his course at $249, that's already $1.25M. My prediction is that, Actualized.org has been around for 5-6 years now, we might only have him for less than 4 years assuming that he decides to end it around 10 years.
  3. @Truth Addict I still think that would be a distraction to their personal development because its taking time from focusing on themselves. That's why its called "personal development" not "help others' development." I truly believe that the person who sits, does nothing, and contemplates for the rest of his life will be ahead (in terms of personal development) of the person who sits a few times a day, works on his business, and has a social life. Life purpose is more of an external focus, rather than focusing on yourself. Leo has definitely grown a lot over the years, but even he mentions that Actualized.org is holding him back from any significant growth. I think back in 2016 or 2017, he mentioned that he was about to stop Actualized.org to go meditate in a cave instead. But luckily we had him for another 2 years, and hopefully longer. But with his last video, he's bringing up that topic again and looking to move into another chapter into his life.
  4. @Serotoninluv So basically you're trying to say is I'm not Yellow, gotcha. Honestly I do think that I'm more Orange than anything, I'm very entrepreneurial and results driven. Then what is this behavior I'm talking about in this post?
  5. @Truth Addict That’s actually an interesting topic. Does being extroverted justify their distractions? Does being extroverted also justify people’s social media addiction? ”Oh you’re extroverted, here’s a pass to justify why you’re addicted to social media.” “Introverts on social media? Nah you’re addicted.” While introverts have all the best advantages to do personal development work and meditation, I still don’t think that means extroverts can’t do it well too. They’ll definitely be behind, but they still can get ahead.
  6. @Truth Addict You’re right but I just threw that out there out of nowhere
  7. @CreamCat Or you ever thought that the advanced students just don’t post often because they’re too focused on themselves and their development? And only the beginners post often because they’re the ones who need the most help? Maybe the higher the post count, the lower the development? The forums are a distraction to your development, its like a social media site.
  8. If someone gave you $10K right now, what would you do with it? Spend it? Invest it? Save it? Start a business?
  9. @Rigel darn it, I was hoping no one would notice
  10. @BjarkeT There we go that’s a better way to say it, push yourself out of your comfort zone. I don’t know a lot about composing music, but maybe try something new you’ve never done before. I’m sure you can think of a million new things you can do when it comes to music composition. Compose a new song, use a new instrument, etc. I’m sure there’s also many other ideas you can find on Youtube.
  11. @BjarkeT Honestly this is a question I often wonder myself, but from what I know in weightlifting, you have to change up your routine. And I guess we can say that applies to any area of your life that you plateau in. Changing up your routine could mean increasing the weight in the gym, or changing up how you practice whatever your skill is. In my own words, its all about tricking the brain. If you think about it, if you do the same thing over and over again your brain will get so used to it that it has no reason to improve because all it takes is that same exact level its stuck at to do the job. I don’t know if that makes sense but that’s sort of how I see it. Another quick example though, let’s say some guy works 9-5 until age 65. All he does is enter in some data into a computer all day doing the same exact thing for 40 years. Why would his brain need to “improve” when his current skill level already gets the job done and he gets rewarded with a paycheck every two weeks?
  12. Back in the day what I noticed is that his style used to be more of an RSD/Pickup artist approach on camera. It was a way to capture the audience’s attention using a certain tone of voice and hand gestures. With several short pauses and emphasis on his words to get his point across. Which is pretty much a manipulative spiral dynamics Orange tactic, but over time he did it less and less. And its probably because of the development of his consciousness, so I wouldn’t really say he made the conscious decision to choose a different style, maybe he did but most likely its because he grew out of his old style subconsciously.
  13. @kindayellow Do you listen to them on your bed? That’s how my laptop is set up, right by my bed, and its hard to focus when you’re watching things right in the place where you sleep every night. Although this hasn’t happened to me a lot in the past, I was always able to put an hour or two aside and focus on the whole video while taking notes. Also it might be better to listen to the podcast version while you’re outside or something.
  14. According to who?
  15. @Cortex Reading the song lyrics I don’t really see it myself? But genius.com always has a good explanation of what the lyrics mean. https://www.google.ca/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=0ahUKEwjzwsDY6v_hAhVWwMQHHcezC48QzPwBCAM&url=https%3A%2F%2Fgenius.com%2FEminem-infinite-lyrics&psig=AOvVaw0sYKsDJplyW1PxOsPOgafs&ust=1556989145117206 This article is also a good read: https://www.google.ca/url?sa=i&source=web&cd=&ved=2ahUKEwi3wNmM6__hAhXKsFQKHXJ0B8UQzPwBegQIARAC&url=https%3A%2F%2Flifeexaminations.wordpress.com%2F2010%2F12%2F08%2Feminem-enlightened%2F&psig=AOvVaw3n5wFGPY59Rob6KNDnSFTs&ust=1556989254427018 After reading this article, in my own conclusion, I wouldn’t say its the “spiritual enlightenment” that is described in this community, its more of the basic definition of enlightenment, that you might see in the dictionary. Honestly I don’t listen to Eminem and follow him a lot, but I know of the song and its a really old one. Also I don’t know if he was known to practice spirituality, so how would he possibly experience enlightenment?
  16. @LiberatedMonkey I’ll be 100% honest with you, I used to ask myself and other people on other forums this question too back in highschool. I always thought I had social anxiety so I asked questions like “how long until my social anxiety is gone?” “If I took 2 sessions of hypnosis, how much will that improve my social anxiety by?” “How many people do I talk to until my social skills improve?” There’s no straight answer because everyone is different. Think about the different ways people grew up in their lives, their family situation, their genes, their personality, and most importantly how much effort you put into working on your social skills. That’s the only answer someone should give you, the more effort you put into it, the faster you’ll get there. The less amount of effort you put into it, the slower. Also, results are not linear, they are exponential. You won’t see a lot of results in the beginning, but more result as time goes by while putting the work in.
  17. @NorthRise Yeah I remember he talked about this in the DJ Akademics live stream. Its actually so interesting that he studied this and put it into his music, he was truly a creative genius. Definitely would've continued on to make a huge impact on society. Unfortunately he seemed to always make himself so vulnerable by hanging alone, no bodyguards, no weapons, and he even let the public know about it. There's literally a video of him connecting with a fan in a Walmart or Bestbuy with no one around to protect him. He was such a genuine person.
  18. @kindayellow Same here. He definitely had a strong impact on my life as well. I instantly became a fan back in the day when I heard "Look at me!" and when I listened to what he was talking about on an old periscope live stream he had. He was very intellectually-minded which was what attracted me to his music and who he appeared to be. I admit I haven't been closely following him after not finding any new music for quite a while in 2016, but the day he passed was when I actually started to look into his new stuff. One night while I was checking out his music, the first time I ever heard "Fuck Love" with Trippie Redd was the time that I cried about X's death. It was the realization that "wow he's actually gone." Then for several months I also couldn't get over his death, I always thought about it every day listening to his music. I currently have three X hoodies I found online which are so awesome to me, I love wearing them. I was also trying to find the winnie the pooh jacket had on when he passed, but couldn't find it at a reasonable price. I searched for such a long time with no luck.
  19. @Draconis Chaser I'd say its all in your head. If you affirm to yourself that the work is draining and boring, then that's what you'll continue to feel about the job. But if you practice appreciation for the job, then you will appreciate it much more. You're really in a better position than most people, a lot of people would love to have the job that you have. And try to find the passion that you initially had when you went to school and started your career.
  20. @Draconis Chaser ^ what he said. Taking the course is definitely not a get rich quick opportunity. It could take you 1-5 years or even 10+ years to get something off the ground that is related to your life purpose, so expect to stay at your job for some time while working on your business. The course is all about becoming an entrepreneur, earning your own money, starting a business or becoming self-employed, which is obviously a completely different path than a 9-5 job. I don't know if you've ever tried working on your own projects as an entrepreneur but it requires a certain mindset. The ability to persist even at the face of lots of failure, requires self-discipline, consistency, etc. And that's what the course is all about, it prepares you with the mindsets with videos and practices, then it moves onto finding your purpose.
  21. @pluto I like that affirmation, thanks for sharing!
  22. @Fountainbleu I get it but it's not necessary to focus on spirituality first in order to be rich and successful. Success is all about practicality. You won't achieve success just by directly focusing on spirituality. I can name hundreds of people who are "successful" without doing any deep spiritual work. After 3-4 years of focusing on what Leo talks about, I've developed a good inner game already, but that hasn't directly got me to where I want to be in terms of achieving any of the material aspects of life. So at this point, a lot of it is just a distraction to me. And think about it, which one would get you closer to obtaining materialistic success, doing psychedelics, sitting and doing nothing everyday, or working on building your business and your skills? Both takes time, and its about investing your time wisely. I understand that as well, but I don't think that means its about going deep into spiritual work. In my opinion its more about doing the practical psychological work. Listening and doing what basic self-help teaches you, the stuff that Jim Rohn or Tony Robbins talks about. In order to handle your money well, you need to work on your money psychology, which is different from spiritual work. I still do meditation though as a regular habit, I do about 30mins+ each day, 45mins+ on the weekends. And that's about it, I won't go deep into psychedelics and all that at the moment.
