This thread will be for those who wish to go to a meditation retreat in the UK and please journal your experience. This thread will be used as a guide for those who are new to meditation retreats and wish to seek further knowledge and all the options available. From my personal experience, this was the first silent retreat I have been too, and I plan to attend other retreats. At Gaia House, in particular there is a introduction to walking meditation, sitting meditation and work meditation. From my experience, it takes a gentle approach to introducing meditation for beginners. I look forward to hearing from anyone about their experiences.

Personally, I do not drink myself as part of the self-actualisation journey this is something not to do if one wants to maximise their ability to increase their consciousness.
