  1. @Shroomdoctor The intense pressure is something I was and am still afraid of too. What has helped me a lot is the 100% responsibilty rule and becoming aware of the fact that all the nasty things I feel and react to are all coming from within and have no ‘outside’ correlation. If ‘the victim’ is something you resonate with, like I do, I would highly recommend watching Leo’s video on that. Also, whatever happens, stay true to your passion and be honest with yourself. Your life is your life, don’t let it clubbed into dank submission. -Charles Bukowski
  2. @Psyche_92 Working hard for school, pursuing consciousness work and doing Life purpose work is indeed quite a bunch. But not doing it feels even worse haha
  3. What happens now? The real self-actualisation starts now! As Peter Ralston says, real transformation is only possible when there is no identification with a persona anymore. You can then without so much resistance change the parts about your personality, emotions, body, etc. that you want to change. And of course with this Enlightenment, it probably won't change Leo's Life Purpose, it will probably deepen his resolve and commitment even more. So maybe we can expect some serious new and awesome things added to actualized.org.

  5. @tecladocasio Because you can litteraly feel the authenticity shining through the entire video.
  6. @cetus56 ahh I love this video so much. Thanks for reminding me <3
  7. Ah man I’m so excited. So much fear came over me while I watched him go through this though. I still find myself trying to grab hold of everything when I feel my identity slipping away, I cannot imagine how it must be like to let that go and fully abide. Grats Leo, and awesome you were willing to pick up the camera and share the moment with us.
  8. @Shroomdoctor Ye haha fuck yes! thinking of myself as a Jedi when doing self-actualisation is one hell of a motivation
  9. It's a fictional story with not really a lot of insights for the self-actualiser in it. It's just a good book for showing you how this 'knowing everything' in our society can really get outta hand. So be careful about putting it on top of your most important list
  10. @Leo Gura hahaha, have you read ‘Wherever you go, there you are’ from Jon Kabat zinn?
  11. @egoeimai It’s beautiful, have you read it? Such a touching story about a boy going after his life’s calling. It motivated the hell out of me to find my life purpose.
  12. @Mighty Mouse Have you read that book? I read it, but don’t really see anyone talking about it.
  13. I had to read the book ‘The Circle’ for school, it’s a fictional story that goes into depth about this issue. Pretty interesting
  14. @Joseph Maynor That’s a beautiful purpose, I can relate to what you’re saying
  15. So when I was twelve I was diagnosed with ADD. The concentration problems you get from that I've been able to resolve with meditation. My concentration skill now is pretty good in comparison of what it used to be. But one thing that I still have trouble with is is planning and strategising, which is one of my weakest points. I am very bad at planning and scheduling stuff and I'd really love to change that, improve on that, since Life Purpose work, Consciousness-work, and really any other field in personal development requires and ability to set proper expectations and being able to look years ahead to see what needs to be done now in order to be 'there' in those years ahead. I am also very bad at estimating how long something will take to improve on, so that often causes a lot of sadness and depression when those results don't align with my expectations How can I improve this skill and what are some great resources that talk about this issue? I really believe that this can be improved even though most of the doctors and people around me have been telling me that this planning issue is something I can never change or improve on.
  16. @phoenix666 Ye you have to keep your mind open since screaming vocals often turn people of immediately. It's quite intense and beautiful since you can feel so much emotion put into it.
  17. @Annetta He died of cancer He wrote this song while knowing his time was going to be over soon. Memento mori (being mindful of death). Writing about his experience of moving towards death and being mindful of it while he is in the process of dying.
  18. This is about one of the band members that died. You might like this type if music, you might dislike it, but I think this is pretty special.
  19. Thank you guys. I will take a look at your methods and also go to a dietitian and get my blood checked
  20. @Psyche_92 I know what you mean. Watching shroud and summit1g play was very fun and I loved just chilling and doing that. What you have to do is see very clearly in your mind that this is something that doesn’t help you achieve your goals and keeps you stuck. When you see how much freed up time you have when that stuff is out of your life, you’ll never want to go back again (although there might be times during ego backlash where your mind reminds you of how fun and chill it was watching twitch. Be mindful of those.) You got this man!
