  1. @Leo Gura I don’t mind having a long process. 10 years is fine. If I were to commit myself to this, which meditation/contemplation methods would you say are most affective on long term? Right now I have a practice of 1 hour mindfulness with labeling meditation, and 30 min of self-inquiry every day.
  2. Pretty interesting video. Is this a good example of somebody half-assing enlightenment?
  3. @DocHoliday Ye exactly, assumptions arise real quick from such a short video. But ey, seems like if he was in the right environment and had some people around him, he could get some profound realisations. It seems like his life situation is just limiting him from looking deeper on what's really going on, which is a shame.
  4. Since I've been about 10 years old I started having energy problems. Later it was discovered that this was caused by all the psychological stuff going on in my head. Mostly social anxiety and insecurities have been robbing me of my energy for a big part of my life. I'm really working hard to purge this stuff out of my system with consciousness and- shadow work + a psychologist helping me. I feel like this process is heading into a good direction. But now that I've changed my diet -- which includes not eating meat (except for fish once in a while), no dairy, no processed sugar -- my energy level started dropping even lower than it was before. I plan on going to a dietitian for this and getting my blood checked. I also am on nofap somewhere between day 80 and day 90. So my energy levels should be skyrocketing with all the positive changes I've made but still they are at their lowest point. Do you guys have any experience with low energy, and how did you fix it?
  5. @Shin But... Master Yoda..
  6. @Shin Thanks a lot for this. I have found out a while ago that I can release my worries like this (If I'm scared to go to school, talk to someone, etc), but never thought about taking it to this extreme. Sounds interesting, cheers!
  7. Sounds like a cool idea, I might be there!
  8. Man.. this one is absolutely beautiful. Brings tears to my eyes
  9. Hahah that’s absolutely awesome!
  10. @Dan Arnautu Amazing response, I’ve been discussing this with my psychologist as well. I really notice how this unwillingness to love and accept myself makes everything painful and harder. I will start doing the affirmation “Ik heb een diepe liefde voor mezelf onder alle omstandigheden.” Which translated to in english “I have a deep love for myself under all circumstances.” 8 April I will tell you what has changed
  11. My biggest struggle is being able to love myself and not beating myself up all the time. Whenever I don't do something I committed to doing that day or whenever my social anxiety comes back, I feel awful. I exercise mindfulness when these feelings come up, but self-love is still something I have a lot of difficulty with.
  12. @Leo Gura Do I have to worry about unintentionally getting into a state of mahasamadhi during consciousness work and leaving my body?
  13. @Shin Yes, it would really mean a lot senpai
  14. @Lorcan There's a lot of toxins in meat and fish both. Also, if you want to look at it from another perspective, you are eating animals and causing suffering while there is no particular reason since man can strive and actually feel much better on a plant based diet. If you want more information on this you should watch the documentaries: 'What the health', and 'Forks over knives'. Both of these take a health point of view.
  15. I personally take 1 teaspoon in my Teff porridge in the morning. It really helps my day awesome. Some chia seeds, banana, teff porridge, and spirulina, and you have one amazing morning meal. I’d like to know as well, is there a recommended intake, or limit even, to how much spirulina you can take?
  16. Yes he really is, amazing guy. Helped me transition to full vegan and building muscle.
  17. @Slade Watch Simnett Nutrition on youtube. He is a plantbased athlete. You can get all the right Nutritions you need on a plantbased diet. The only thing you might need to supplement is vitamin b12.
  18. @Butters Lol, that’s a very persisent morning attitude
  19. @Ether Amazing video on fear, he made me realize a couple key points I have been unaware of so far. Thanks a lot! He hasn’t uploaded in a while. Do you know where he disappeared to?
  20. @Steph1988 FUCK that's such a good idea! I'm implementing this into my morning routine right away, thanks a lot!
  21. @Aquarius It has it's ups and downs haha, but throughout I'm pretty proud of what I've accomplished so far. Mainly working on my shadow and unwiring my neurotic personality is a big one I'm working on really hard, throughout 2017 and 2018 I've seen some really awesome growth on that department. Right now I'm in the process of finding and living my Life Purpose while also learning more about nutrition and fitness. Pretty excited about both of these What about yours, what are you focussing on atm?
  22. Here's a picture of my pretty hamster
  23. @Aquarius I know what you're talking about, since deciding to fully commit to this journey I've lost almost all my friends. I did not stay in touch with them when we all went to new schools. They seem to be heading the completely opposite direction of where I want to be. It's really hard to find friends who are living their own Hero's journey and who want to be the best they can be. I like people on here though, but it's just not the same as real life friends.
  24. @Ether Ye that's a big one
