INTP, I wonder if it is possible to be high in conscientiousness and INTP? I think that's more ENTJ. I found Carl Jung's psychological personality types some what useful, better than any online explanation.

Yeah I reckon I have Asperger's as well. Only really came to conclusion recently, was pretty averse to the idea. 1) Large skull size. 2) High birth weight. 3) Old mother, 36. 4) Tend to be systematic, but not conscientious or obsessive compulsive, but can get fixated sometimes. 5) No interest in play when a child, focus on Lego and puzzle Games. 6) Burst into laughter, at the witch melting scene in the Wizard of Oz, other kids started crying. 7) Vacant look, some of the time. 8) Aversion to noise. 9) Tend not to be social, by default. 10) Poor response to social cues. 11) Clumsiness. 12) More body hair than average. RSD Tyler does look like he has Aspergers, now that I'm more conscious. Supposedly the center region of the brain is larger, while there being less mirror neurons, that deal with things like empathy and facial recognition. I guess it is also going to effect things like learning from people & crowds, which sometimes tend to be avoided or ignored, although not unnoticed. Might be because of older births, older offspring tend to be larger (see it in chicken eggs). Also makes me think of the story in the Bible. Joseph multi coloured dreamcoat, him being the last born and different. The last born perhaps being larger skulled, before the mother literally begins to split in half in child birth. Kind of like a last rounds thing.

@TheBeachBionic Send a picture to. @Emerald Or pick a guy on the forum, for perhaps a more objective masculine opinion.

Was wondering if anyone has some advice on starting a forum? How would someone go about designing one? What would existing templates cost? Maybe things like voice chat. Looking for interactivity. More along the lines of a lateral focus, than a top down one. Would prefer an Aristocratic focus than a Meritocratic. Some form of record so, weak posts down or upvotes can be referenced. To help people improve and pursue better learning and mutual help, rather than degrading into a slugging match. Self-knowledge, Philosophy, Homesteading but a focus on practice, mostly for my own interest. Post whatever you like, except in cases of violence. Kind of like the present forum.

I'm inclined to say there is only consciousness, neither collective nor individual. Although have been playing around with the idea of materialism, and perhaps the degree to which consciousness is at least partially socially influenced, I think if a person were fully non-dual they would be enlightened. The collective unconscious is something that is present in society, an expression of it perverted would be something like the Borg out of Star Trek. The unconscious self being an expression of the empirical self. However, perhaps there is also a collective consciousness that could be simulated, instead of mirror neurons related to empathy, direct telepathy, either biologically or electronically implanted organ. So if someone feels pain, you feel it as well, same for joy happiness unhappiness etc. It would probably be limited to a few units however, rather than thousands in tenement blocks or borg cubes. The Omar (Cyborgs, meaning conscious pilots) off the game Deus Ex Invisible War as an example, of a collective consciousness limited to small teams. I Liked the quote by Montaigne at the end. -

I find the term consciousness more helpful than freewill. Haven't really seen Determinism(or Determinism plus i.e Compatiblism) vs Freewill slugfests that sometimes plague other forums. Whether consciousness can be equated in someway to god or what it even really means, I don't know. -
Nothing. There would have to be limits.

@KenDo Why not start a podcast now?

Read through a chunk, copy and paste a section to the forum for commentary. An audiobook would be ace, but haven't seen one for Being and Time. Maybe people have read it, but prefer other books, I remember @Joseph Maynor mentioning that he had read it.

I think in the eyes of God all is equal. My my perspective is more like the following video........ Not that there isn't necessarily value in people/animals. Inequality, not sure what that even means, if reality/being just is. Got to be some element to it, I think it's mostly political, thought it was interesting listening to the history of the Peloponnesian War that the Athenian Democrats complained about exacting tribute from smaller states, "thinking that because we are a democracy, that they are our equals." Funny part later in the book when many of the men were freaking out from a particular town(more like village in modern numbers) allied to Athens, under-siege by arrow fire, trying to commit suicide with the arrow heads. Before they were all killed, and the women and children sold into slavery and the town turned into a colony of Thebes, didn't mess around then. Hilarious that they made a fairly well, although not well enough put together argument beforehand. The clincher being yeah Thebes sold out Greece to the Persians, but you guys were offered the opportunity to remain neutral, maybe it would have made a difference, maybe not.

Thought the title was about the stephen king movie "IT". (not seen it, other than clips.) As for words, the notion left contains within in it the notion right, up down, Collectivist Individualist. -
Animal rights. A right being a permission, means next to nothing to me now, at least intellectually. "You have the right to remain silent." So what, you going to torture me out of silence then....maybe. I think a quick kill would be much more preferable to the few and centralised slaughterhouses of today. So don't even realise what's happening. Universal basic income, still inclined to take the blood money if offered, though my higher self would probably do better in a monastery or something. Abolishing wage slavery. Probably a good deal could be done by resolving addictions.

I suppose by matter of fortune to 99.99% of humanity that has ever lived, and many people in the UK. Although I'm not sure I consider myself superior far far from it, probably lower than a lot of the people on the forum, though I might be in a position of superiority, in many ways. More of distrust & selfishness.

I'm more attracted to awareness. than necessarily consciousness, I don't think that is a good thing. Love not really. Intrinsic value though, something that can be used, instead of extrinsic value that would rely of a degree of projection, not necessarily a bad thing. The extrinsic value of fruit being somewhat limited, unless making schnapps for social occasions, or a payout on a slot machine. Personally think society should be more aristocratic, not a meritocracy or democratic. Whether it will or not, probably remain oligarchic for decades. Given virtually every government can veto laws. And possession can be addictive, or 9/10th's of the law. The idea of equality has never appealed to me, it doesn't even make sense. I like the idea of equity better.

I have heard it said that a job is about survival, and if you have a fairly regular wage or subsidy, you may get used to that level of income, "hedonic adaptation". Wage sounds a bit like taking a bet that your productivity will likely meet or stimulate consumer demand, within a certain time frame. Supply creates, demand. "Say's Law". There has to be a supply, before there can be demand. Wouldn't that be antithetical to self-actualisation? --------------------- What I'm after is a degree of psychological certainty in action, maybe deluded I don't know. "Screw your courage to the sticking place and all will be well." Macbeth.

Thought the audiobook on Scribd is ace. Feel I will definitely listen to it again. There's "The Book of Not Knowing" as well, being uploaded on the 16th. $8.99 per month for as many books you want to listen to, or read online. I feel I really gained an appreciation of contemplation, that I did not have before. Was kind of craving somekind of intellectual equivalent of steroids, but the book is well structured and does not feed you concentrate.

A census taker once tried to test me. I ate his liver with a side of lima beans and a nice Cianti.
