  1. Do you literaly feel burning in the heart area? If yes, then I am experiencing somthing similar. Tried Hatha Yoga and felt flames bursting through my hands. I think what you are experiencing is totally normal. The whole charm of this journey is that every day can bring something unexpected.
  2. @dimitri Every single one.
  3. You have put a lot of quality research into the issue. Thanks for that.
  4. @Freakrik It doesn't matter. Spiritual experiences are waaay deeper. Even the early ones. They always surprise you with a depth, even though you think you know what to expect.
  5. So, I have actually kissed with the preetiest girl in school that I had a crush on and to top it, it was my first kiss ever in life. It was cool, but rather dissapoinitng. I have also had samadhi where I forgot who I am and merged with reality. It grounded me to the floor and left in shock from awe for an hour. It was unexpectedly magnificient. Here's your comparison. I think there's none.
  6. Hah, I have almost forgotten about this guy, but he is sooo entartaining. This could be a good example of pickup. Although I can't get rid of feeling that what I have watched is just a show, like it doesn't work half as well as in the video.
  7. AI reasearch and policy. Drugs legalization or at least decriminalization. Further spreading of environmentally conscious ideas like renewable energy or veganism. Help everyone find their life purpose. Spread Enlightenment teachings, more research into altered states of consciousness.
  8. Try to meditate inside a lucid dream. Mind-blowing experience. You can get samadhi so easily in that state. It's hard to get that idea when you are already in a dream, so you have to set intention before having one.
  9. It's the weirdest! I always drop jaw when I see a random religious symbol in real life and then realize what it really points to.
  10. I think it's a matter of perspective. You can talk from Enlightened perspective. You can talk from ego perspective. And then you can also do something as the author of the post did, unskillfully merge the two perspectives and confuse the hell out of everyone.
  11. Wow. It's always cool to have one more great example for psychedelics advocacy.
  12. @brugluiz That explains nothing. How do you know if you have a contract and what it is about, who the hell is soul family and when did we invite Teal Swan to the party? But thanks for the list. @Nahm No, never heard about it. Any recommendations? When I type "reiki" into Google I only get catholic articles about how it is a tool of Satan. (That's the charm of living in Poland. We had a politician who was trying to crown Jesus Christ as the king of Poland, lol.)
  13. I too have only a year of practice and kundalini doesn't give me a rest. I have not experienced anything I could call awakening, but the energy is certainly active. On some days there are non-stop muscle twitches, tingling, pressure, prickling, weird orgasm-like experiences and burning around chakra areas, on top of the head too. I have been to doctor, done bloodwork, tested urine, checked internal organs, my heart was also tested not so long ago and everything is in the norm. I only have a slightly bad posture. Not doing psychedelics for months. Slight anxiety. If anyone knows solutions that ease these symptoms I would be happy to hear them. I am considering taking Hatha Yoga classes.
  14. A friend. Because there's no-one closer to you than God. You are it. That's the most intimate relationship ever.
  15. I would even say life purpose is a fancy name for a satisfying career.
  16. I guess it's because there's a lot of new people coming into the forums and they flock these types of threads. Those guys will outnumber any voice of reason. You don't really want to turn this place into yet another hub for JP or red pill fans. There's enough of that on the internet and it's not productive.
  17. I haven't seen that. Life purpose is something you craft for yourself, so obviously not everyone has one. There are people with disabilities who nail life purpose. Stephen Hawking comes to my mind, but there are countless examples of people with disabilities who have big impact on the world. The same goes for income inequality, it's not an unbreakable barrier.
  18. A little insight. As humans, we develop and change, but often our habits lag behind. Personally, my goals and preferences have changed a lot. I don't enjoy running or calisthenics anymore, even though I have loved them in the past. Yet I still continue to practice them, because that's something I am quite comfortable with and good at. And that's pointless. There are other activities like Hatha Yoga or simply walking that are more in alignment with who I have become. They are an especially good choice when I no longer want to focus on strength or endurance. I encourage you to reflect on your own workout regime and see if you can replace any activity to make your training more fulfilling, too.
  19. And if you want practical examples then I recommend going to the internet entrepreneurship forums and look for progress threads and case-studies or visit /r/Entrepreneur.
  20. What kind of business? Small business? I have personally liked Breaking the Time Barrier by Mike McDerment, CEO of Freshbooks cloud accounting. It's a short business book written like a novel that you can read for free. It teaches you how to entangle revenue from time. Built to Sell by John Warrillow touches the same subject, but is a little bit longer. And I have to mention The Millionaire Fastlane by MJ DeMarco. It contains crucial principles of building a business. It's quite old and for some people, the style in which the book was written may be off-putting. If that's the case, there is also Unscripted written by the same author that is newer and more accessible.
  21. @Sahil Pandit Thanks for posting the video. Adyashanti nails it. I never have watched him, might do it now.
