  1. Hmm, I will consider going.
  2. I don't want to, I leave that foolish task to others, lol. Better yet, everything is in Leo's videos. Hours of material on epistemology, naive materialism, science and spiritual traps. It would be stupid of me to try and sum it all up in one or two posts.
  3. Hold these horses, cowboy. What you have written is so wrong I don't even know where to start.
  4. I would recommend a commentary on the Gospel of Thomas by OSHO.
  5. Unrecognized, but by whom, the psychiatrist? I recognize for example Leo's results of effort put into contemplation of the nature of reality. It's a highly relative judgment whether someone is delusional or not. Doctor colleagues of Ignaz Semmelweis also must have thought that he is deluded when he was telling them to wash their hands before they work with patients. You are right until you are not. Mainstream is often not right. You need to have your own inner wisdom to make a judgment and the courage to stand by it when most of the world tells you that you are wrong.
  6. Heh, you shouldn't. If you want to go, you will go. There's always an opportunity unless you study at some very crowded and famous university. Many people just talk, blah blah blah, that they want to go but in the end resign because of something, be it girlfriend, money, etc. What country are you thinking of? I am aiming for Sevilla, Spain at the moment, it might change though. It's really crazy that you experience bullying at this level of education. I have studied at two different majors and people I interacted with were always quite mature. Way beyond bullying anyone for sure. I feel sorry for that situation, but I have no idea how I could help you with it, even though I would want to. I would say treat it as a learning experience, but you have to judge if it is a bit of helpful advice yourself, heh. Oh and BTW, there's this app called SuperMemo, it really helps with organizing notes and learning. You might want to try it in the next semester. It's a cool idea. It works like this, you have your notes and you type them into the program. You have two sides of a card, one for a question or a problem and another for the correct answer or solution. The cool part is that after giving an answer the software asks you to rate how well you have remembered it and based on that calculates the optimal time for repetition that will give you the highest retention of the information.
  7. @Red-White-Light when weird experiences happen they are a part of the Actuality.
  8. @ElvisN but it stacks up. You can build yourself a tolerance for months somtimes. And your tabs could be underdosed, anywhere between 20 and 100 mcg. You have to give them to someone experienced to judge or test against research chemicals, like 1P-LSD, because they are dosed right. So if 1P-LSD makes you trip on 100 mcg and you need 300 mcg of your tabs for the same trip then you got yourself a bunk product. With good tabs 150 mcg is a really strong trip.
  9. Nice work on this journal, it's pleasant to read. Weird how similar most of our struggles are. I just couldn't find one info, what exactly are you studying?
  10. https://80000hours.org/key-ideas/ might help.
  11. @Derek White both masculinity and feminity are devilry because they are a duality.
  12. Heh, I have had the same Super Saiyan experience. I sometimes call it being the Supervisor.
  13. What the heck is this? Cool visuals. Ta-da, ta-da, ta-da
  14. Because clients with shit products are easy to find and pay well, heh. It's possible to work with conscious companies as a copywriter. Hard to do as a freelancer, but a little bit easier as a full-time worker. I had had the same issue as you @emind and I actually quit freelancing after doing it for two years. Now I am doing a degree, working in a simple 9-5 job with friends and trying to figure out my life purpose. It was easy for me to sacrifice 30% of my earnings for having peace of mind. It may be not so easy for you if you need money.
  15. That one, I don't know. Although, I am pretty sure they didn't have any freezers. But who knows really, maybe they were cooling food underground and it froze throughout the night or the "frozen seeds" refers to leaving them outside in the winter and freezing and thawing that makes them die.
  16. There is a lot of texts from Judaic tradition and texts about the life of Jesus that didn't make it to the Holy Scripture. Bible is a curated selection of works, with duplicate or bothersome content removed. I don't know why are you so surprised by it, have you really believed it is the only valid version of the story given directly by God? Heh I wouldn't call the other texts missing, though. They were left out deliberately, so it would be more appropriate to name them an alternative, or something.
  17. @Marek this Jesus quote is sooo fake How were they supposed to freeze foods 2000 years ago in Jerusalem?
  18. @Mattie it would be nice if it has worked that way, but you need to distinguish between what science is on paper and what it actually is in the world. People are too invested in their projects and careers to admit fundmental errors or too arrogant to change their views on materialism. Science is a dirty business.
  19. If our goal is to create a more conscious and loving society then blurring the lines is great news. One arbitrary distinction that limits human behaviour less. Learn to thrive in new environment instead of praising an old solution that is no longer relatable. I understand that the old solution had it's plus sides and the current reality may be more confusing for some, but it's nevertheless a better situation.
  20. Explain to me how chating up a person or dancing and having fun with her at a club is treating her as a prostitute? I think you are exaggerating by a lot.
  21. @ElvisN No, I believe writing would be too distracting and slow for a trip (haven't tested it, though). As soon as I had started feeling the ego-mind dissolving, my usual mode of operating having less grip on reality, I started contemplating reality. At some point I had thrown jokingly, "Hey God, maybe you can give me a helping hand on this one." and the thought "Yes, of course." appeared immediately. From there it was more of a conversation than a contemplation. I didn't get all the answers, sometimes the response was "you will see", "that's not important" or "maybe, it's yours to choose" and it was harder to sustain the conversation when effects of psychedelic began to fade. It wasn't an extraordinary experience, just talking in thoughts, but with a slightly different vibe.
  22. @Average Investor Yes, of course, I have nothing against doing ecommerce, but it just isn't something that comes to your mind when someone says they are looking for a "soul-enriching" work. Maybe OP just meant it as a stepping stone to free up some time, idk
  23. Although, selling widgets on Amazon seems to me as uninspiring as 9-5 job. The novelty feeling of making money online wears off quickly and you are left only with a non-satisfying business that demands way more of your attention than any other job.
  24. You can, but then you can also do it on 5-MeO only, which is safer and easier to dose. You don't know how the drugs potentiate each other, you don't even know yet how to dose a single substance to get a breakthrough. Don't make it harder for yourself. Follow the guidelines regarding not eating for a few hours prior to the experience and dose accurately, see then if you puke. I never puke on psychedelics (even when dosing high) and almost always go solo. I am not sure to what degree puking depends on the physiology and how much on simply not following the best practice.
