  1. Guys, how blind. The first argument against incest is the existence of power hierarchies, in society, but also in the family. Approving of having sex with your family is some hardcore post-modernist position, nothing to do with morality, it messes with a crucial structure of society. If you don't see how that can lead to pathologies, then I don't know what to tell you. Imagine a powerless daughter under despotic father and normalization of incest sex at the same time. This is not a fair dynamic. It would lead to enormous amounts of abuse. Second argument is, even if everything is consensual, having sex with you family members stiflles growth of the individual. Sexual interaction with people outside of your inner circle is what grows a person, one of the strongest growth motivators (until it does its job and finally grow you as a human being to some reasonable degree of maturity). Having sexual gratification guaranteed by your family is counter to that process.
  2. @Thought Art Let people learn science. Then it makes sense to discuss scientific models.
  3. Tolle has great guru skills, his way of talking is very calming. A good entertainer. He wins the comparison in terms of who is nicer to listen to. Adyashanti is an intellectual with great talks. His thoughts are way more cognitively stimulating. Tolle is not that bright in terms of analysis and conceptual thought.
  4. There is no reason to mess with anything else than with proven electric vapes. No glass, no fire. Either use a vape that can vape eliquid or something that can vape oil or something that is constructed with DMT in mind like the e-mesh method from Minty Love.
  5. Vape constructions that use soaked cotton hit stronger I think. Higher wattage also helps Also what is your concentration of 5-MeO in your vaping juice? If you are not satisfied with strength of your puffs, then your vape juice might be weak.
  6. MDMA being neurotoxic is mostly a myth. I have researched this issue after hearing about it on Hamilton Morris' podcast. (Great resource, 100% recommended, you can find it either on Spotify [only some episodes] or Patreon, better than Leo's videos [in terms of entertainment]) I believe the issue had been mentioned in the episode with David Nichols (the OG psychedelics chemist). Maybe in a few other episodes, too.
  7. @SQAAD Maan, it has this classification because it's 1. first a drug you don't want to get into your system accidentally, 2. a little bit irritating. The danger listed here is that you will have a little bit irritated nostrils if you snort it. That's all. All routes of administrations are good, it's like a normal drug. Every drug can have those safety hazards ascribed to them. I am not talking about psychedelic drugs, I am talking about every drug you can buy at a pharmacy. There's nothing unique about 5-MeO-MALT.
  8. Two weeks are realistic for someone with little experience, if you leave home environment.
  9. Cartoons are great, maybe the Disney ones are not the deepest. But... Song of the Sea, or the Wolfwalkers, those cartoons depict life consciously. And in a form that even 5 yo kid can follow. Pure beauty to watch on a psychedelic.
  10. Ginger or Lemon or Kola nut. Every substance that blocks 5ht3 receptors from interacting with tryptamine helps with nausea.
  11. We need both oil and copious amount of materials for batteries. There's no discussion on either one of that, really. That's why humanity as a whole continues to extract more and more of the resources. We are in such a situation that abruptly stopping any of these processes would have consequences much more dire for civilization than deaths in cobalt mines or oil spills into environment. Apart from that, the issue with those mines is capitalism and government, not the fact of mining cobalt itself. And to top it, new battery chemistries are slowly being deployed commercially, moving on from lithium-cobalt chemistry. So this discussion framed in that way has no point. There are better ways to discuss these issues.
  12. I remember reading a similar poem by Rumi in my language (Polish) and it have had a different vibe.
  13. Why is this thread even this long? I feel like the correct reaction to this thread should have been, "Ah, okay, interesting statement, I will be waiting for future content." Why the need to argue with Leo on that? No-one should believe him on word in the first place. It's a new perspective to look at the world with. One of many a person can hold. It's not something you should adopt as your personal belief.
  14. @Bobby_2021 Then you are wrong.
  15. @Bobby_2021 I think it is. There are many similar parody accounts. What is your evidence for this one being real?
  16. @Leo Gura there is a study on DMT effects on brain conducted using fMRI and EEG. https://www.pnas.org/doi/10.1073/pnas.2218949120 Someone skilled in designing EEG biofeedback protocols could make a program to train brainwave patterns just like on DMT. There are also already a few meditator who have similar brainwave patterns as a result of their practice. Not all meditation techniques lead to the same results. Focus, "energy" intensive meditation practices are the psychedelic-like practices when it comes to their effects on the brain.
  17. @Leo Gura you must have not read his Autobiography. He has written a little bit on politics and government. His interest in this was the reason why he had had a commune in the first place. His thoughts on society weren't of the highest caliber, but I think he took it seriously.
  18. @Sucuk Ekmek you know nothing about economy. It's your job to fix it. Man up and pull yourself by the bootstraps. Whininnig about current system like some radical leftist feminist about men is not going to take you far. Work to understand why current monetary system is the way it is. It's not only because of "bad people" or "globalist elite". Saying that is akin to leftists calling everyone they don't like nazis. And try to think through the repercussions of changes you would like to make to the monetary system. Because it is A SYSTEM. With all the parts connected. I will wrap it up by saying that dollar's value is not in some stupid paper, as it wouldn't be in some stupid gold bars. It's value is stability of the US political system, military, IT industry and US' role in the global oil trade.
  19. @Staples isn't it still just hallucinating answers? Or has something changed with the 4th version?
  20. @Nilsi you are sharp today. I agree with your position in this discussion.
  21. @Sucuk Ekmek I say so because gold and silver are metals of little use in current global economy, so they are not worth much. Why would they be used to guarantee value of something else if they by themselves have little value? Although they are of little use, they are not of no use. People storing them would take them out of supply for doing useful things. And people would store copious amounts of these metals, because they are not worth much. That would increase their price and in the end the only result of this idiotic policy would be disturbances in the electronics market. This is some nonsensical, Stalin-like commie level of market manipulation. The problem with economy is that it's so big nothing can really back it up, other than military power and energy resources.
  22. You guys are funny. I have taken the weirdest of things to dates. My big big digeridoo, mini chess that we were playing on a regular sized table in the park xD, blankets, I love taking blankets to dates and sitting by a river or something, very big hammock is nice too, printed pages of poetry that we were reading to each other up some hill, board games, there are some small-packaged fast-paced games out there. I have a shit-ton of ideas. Some crazy, like pulling out an inflatable boat out of the trunk of my car as a surprise, give her a paddle and go down a river. No-one expects shit like that. You need a proper kind of girl for it, and maybe not on a first or second date, xD, but crazy hot girls love crazy man's ideas. Oh an action video recorder, or professional camera is a nice toy to have on a date. And like I have said earlier, simple music instruments are great. Especially in a setting like a fireplace. You can also buy a slackline and setup it somewhere in the garden or wherever. It's a lot of fun.
  23. @Leo Gura He does learn from others, but he obviously has disregard for professional academics and doesn't treat their work seriously. His understanding of globalism is so poor, and his takes on politics so emotional. From the smartest man in the world I would expect more nuanced thinking on why the world looks like it looks right now and where it is going. And also he lacks humility, that is what I have meant by saying his problem is his ego. https://gab.com/ChrisLangan Just take a look at his feed. I would understand if he took it all as a shit-posting exercise, but it looks like he is taking it all seriously. Chris Langan is not going to solve any important social issue and neither is he going to start a revolution (which he often talks about).
  24. @Leo Gura It won't fly when analyzing society, and in many other branches of science, too. To know what happens in society you need a lot of data, you can't collect it yourself, it's too much work and resources. Available data has been collected by making use of certain methodologies and for use with certain pre-existing theoretical models. It's already heavily "human contaminated" by this point.
  25. His ego is the problem. He thinks he is so smart he can skip learning from others and figure out everything from ground zero by himself. Surprise, surprise, it doesn't work, as seen by observing his political takes. It turns out that even the smartest monkey is still a monkey with very limited capabilities compared to the complexity of social and physical realities.
