@ThomasT What is this natural movement you speak of? Could you elaborate? Asking because my LP is similar.

Sahil Pandit replied to Silvester's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Silvester Where is evil located when you are mindfully the "watcher" and not projecting it out? Perhaps at a higher stage of consciousness this completely drops away? (Speculating, not confirmed in my direct experience, yet.) -

@moon777light The bad is constantly thrown under the rug. Hidden in the closet. Repressed, not allowed to be looked at. It's not until we look at it deeply within our selves and horrify ourselves do we get to see a glimpse of the bigger picture. This will mature you tremendously. Are you ready? -

Sahil Pandit replied to Frankie10's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Frankie10 I have sometimes 5 dreams a night. On rare occasions, i can recall more than 70% of the full story. There is a lot of potential for spiritual purification by doing dream work. Although it's a double edged sword. It's a place where your fantasies can run amok, so it's important to have an intention as to why you are doing dream work.. You can go back in your past, relive old memories, see people you haven't seen in years. Also, you can re contexualize what a certain event meant to you/ gain insight about your LP. Oh and there's also spiritual guides who are willing to help, if you have the right intention. But on the flip side, things can get dark... especially if you are running away from something. Dreams are where your shadow can manifest if you aren't doing the inner work. Good luck! -

Here are some notes from the video: You need to take Non-duality a lot more seriously. There is NO boundary between you and everything else in the universe. If you were everything, how would you act. What is behind your eyes? The infinite void. Your life is infinity! Have you wondered.. Why are you, you? And why am I, me? Why am I living this life right here right now? For you to be you, you have to identify with this. You have to belief that you are this particular thing having this particular life. If you had everyone's memories, you would go insane with over load of information. The ego will not experience everything.. But YOU will experience everything… Everything is being experienced simultaneously.. Its like you put a dot on a piece of paper and that dot contained a bunch of linear time lines which all seem to expand and unfold across time. Contemplate: What IS Non-duality? What does this imply? The MAGNITUDE of oneness hasn't sunk in deep enough. Self Righteousness is what stands in the way of Non Duality. When you hate, judge, demonize, that is YOU denying parts of YOURSELF. Can you see this? NO! Why? Because you wanna keep your identity. The fact of the matter is, YOU have been denying your Oneness the whole time! The aim of life is to embrace your fullness, and to not deny it. That is the hardest thing in the world. Infinity is so big, horrifying, it has to GO THRU and ACCEPT what it is… When people think of God they don't see the Dark, evil, selfishness, etc. They make a duality out of it.. The challenge is accepting the hard parts of non duality.. Most people would be way too offended to contemplate these ideas. Especially stage blue spiral dynamics and it's morality. Stage orange thinks that oneness is strictly hypothetical.. But little do they know. You need to wake up, at a much faster rate. Don't be surprised when this scares the shit out of you.. Don't forget that you can tap into the depth of your heart to beat your ego.. This is not gonna be an easy battle.. You have to tap into the deepest parts of yourself to overcome and to soothe your ego.. And to negotiate with it to the point where you are man enough to surrender your ego..

@dubbyalex3 When something is over your head, you are FORCED to grow. It's like doing a pull up. It's hard and challenging/intimidating at first, but you gain strength by facing that adversity.

@MsNobody Do you have the time stamp for Paul Stament's Lion's Maine bit?

@alankrillin Good points. This is not a short cut to results. Nootropics need to be stacked with your original Personal Development plan, which you mentioned. This includes: Meditation, Clean diet, plenty of sleep and exercise. Also, concentration, mindfulness, and self inquiry/do nothing meditation.

@Joseph Maynor What would you advise a beginner in Nootropics to try out?

Sahil Pandit replied to MM1988's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MM1988 From the sound of things, you may have tight hamstrings. A good stretch for lengthening your hamstrings is called "Good Mornings". Try those for a few days without weight, and then see if you notice a difference. An advanced version would be doing it without any knee bend, but don't try to be too rigid on yourself. Let the body move how it wants. -
@Lynnel IFTTT (If this, then that) This app allows me to set alerts for myself at certain times of the day. For example, I have set up an alert at 1pm, a text, that i get from the app asking something along the lines of, "Am i optimizing my time?" Also, i have an alert at 9pm to "Do your night reflection". Its a very handy tool if you want to regulate yourself daily! Check out the To Do App called "MinimaList" - try it for a few days and see how you like it. You can also try Trello and EverNote.

@bejapuskas If they want the best for you, then it's in your best interest to focus on your own growth. This way, you can act from a place of strength, while showing them what you have learned and how you have grown. Pretty much, having the confidence to set the standard and rising above where their (stage blue) values are at. They might not like it at first, but they will respect you if you respect yourself and really work hard at what you want to do.

@Tony 845 Have you read the Kundalini book from the book list? -
Over the months/years you have been working on Personal Development, how has Self Reliance played a factor in your growth? Compare yourself now to who you were 1, 3, or 5 years ago. Do you feel more Self Reliant? (I hope so) What are you doing strategically to push your limits in terms of becoming autonomous? We all crave autonomy deep down, would you agree?

@Gligorije Cal Newport coined the term "Attention Residue" when you check your phone and then switch to doing another task. Basically what happens is you mind is still pre-occupied with the first task and cannot focus deeply on what it in front of you. I highly recommend turning your phone off and putting it in your closet for anywhere from 40 minutes to 4 hours based on how "bad" your addiction is. Also check out Cal Newport on YT, his habit "Deep Work" is a must!

You can't escape this work. Where ever you try to run, there you are! (Especially on a bad trip!) Its you, pretending to be you, talking to do, asking you about who you are. (Not sure if you get what i am trying to point at but i thought it would be worth a shot.)
