  1. @Steph1988 @FirstglimpseOMG I suffered from depression for many years because of lot of childhood issues that I still have difficulty dealing with. I still suffer from it. I know what you mean but many tragedies have happened so I find it difficult to seek happiness in my life.
  2. So how about spreading a small dose of positivity into people's hearts by sharing a beautiful, uplifting, positive quote here.
  3. I think this is same for everyone. You can just fuck those people. If they are having wrong opinions, then let them have them. Let them salivate in their own ignorance. Doesn't matter. Why are you spending your energy in trying to correct those who are wrong. Isn't that foolish on your part to try and explain them. This is a needless need in you. You feel attacked unnecessarily. You are giving too much importance to things that don't matter. Your work is to believe in yourself and follow your path and not worry so much about the world. If you are convinced that you're right, why do you care what others think. Why do you feel the need to defend yourself ? Be an observer and let it pass. When you realize people are spewing foolish advice and opinions, you gotta leave them and let them languish in their own mess. No need to either defend yourself or care too much for them. Give up this habit. You can't keep arguing forever, can you? One simple trick - when you spot a flaw in other's opinions, just ignore them. Think they are being ignorant and foolish and move on. And if you don't do it, then you'll be the foolish one.
  4. This is for guys. How do you define male power. I don't mean men in positions of power. I don't want to know a woman's perception of men. I want to know how men perceive each other in terms of likeability and power. What qualities and abilities are admirable and desirable in a man as per you(men). What makes a man a man ? Do you believe the men you see around you are real men? Are you okay with them being themselves, or do you expect more out of them. Describe your ideal man, his qualities, abilities and traits. What defines a powerful man according to you. And if you believe that men in general lack most of the desired qualities, then what according to you is the reason for this void, why couldn't society produce better men(powerful men).
  5. Wow interesting question and a great question as usual. Spirituality is everything. All other things should grow from spirituality. loving animals and plants more. Never thought deeply about them before. Now I see the world as being very superficial. All things materialistic. More aware of how things are. Trying to be more conscious of every moment now. More aware of my emotions. Can feel them coming and going like a flow of states. Lesser need for friends. Can feel how others suffer. Before it was an illusion and there was no awareness. Don't feel like a zombie anymore. Everything is now more vivid and and the perspective towards everything is less materialistic and more existential. I lost the craving for little things. Money seems unimportant but important only for survival. Spirituality seems to be very attractive now. Like all things have their answers in spirituality and nothing else. Becoming aware of truth More self-analysis. That's a great boon. Less attached to ego and egoic needs but not completely free. Able to have a clearer view of why and how regarding everything from me and extending to everything else. Now heavily philosophical about everything in life. Never before have I had such a huge list of questions popping up in my mind and an insatiable thirst to know answers to them Able to let go. This thing was difficult before
  6. What are some things you want to achieve(abstract as well as concrete) in your life. For example :: abstract like:- happiness Concrete like :- losing weight, rescuing animals, voluntary work for climate change etc In short any goals, ambitions, objectives short term long term.

  9. @I_Like_Thing oh that's great. Your insights must be fantastic.
  10. My memory is not very clear on this. Sorry for that. You said in a video or in this video(I guess a video), about having an 'abundance mindset or mentality' and not the one based on scarcity. I know a little bit of what it means but not sure how to get started with it. I have been reading stuff like law of attraction and I believe in it. Could you elaborate further in an exclusive short video on how to grow/cultivate this abundance within oneself ?
  11. List some of the ways in which someone can attack your self-esteem ? These may have been ways that you have come across somewhere in your past or even something you're dealing right now. One example that you can include in your list is bullying.
  12. Have you ever realized that you never see things from a big picture perspective. How we fail to see the big picture so often. We never realize until it actually happens. It's so important to cultivate a big picture perspective on things in life. It helps you to put things together. How many things you could have avoided in your path if you had only seen it already in the bigger picture of life.
  13. @Robert66 Well sometimes it can be that someone is over reacting even at the slightest provocation. But everything is not reaction. We can surely control our reactions to things but we have to least identify behaviours before we can modify our reactions to them. If someone is actively trying to attack my self-esteem, I should be able to identify that behaviour and be able to label it and understand it better before I learn to react.
  14. @Robert66 I agree that mistakes help us understand the big picture. But isn't the experience a bit too expensive ? How many mistakes do you really have to make until you realize that your only way of learning was through mistakes and you have already made too many of them. Another additional mistake might even prove fatal. Better grasp the situation before it's too late. You can even learn from other's mistakes. It's true that experience is king. But some experiences can be irreversible and that's when you realize that some mistakes can be a little costly. That's where you feel the need of having a better preemptive perspective on things.

  20. Journaling helps a lot with spontaneity. Start describing stuff in your journal. By the way I have this same problem too. I think it's an executive function issue or something that remained underdeveloped since childhood. I frequently deal with articulation issues. I feel like I want to say something but I cannot get the words to illustrate it the way I want. And then I find someone using all the exact words and writing a long conversationalist essay to express their point and I am left wondering why I couldn't have done the same.
  21. I guess somewhere around 2007
