  1. @Old Soul That's why I'm also looking into some prepping just in case (not building a fortress haha). Cities will definitely be one big mess, no way to cultivate food, high risk of disease, all the things that go with high density population. I'm really wanting to collect much knowledge how to start from simple basics and expand from there when starting with nothing. If it were to happen it would be nice to get a community of sane people together that have and share the same knowledge and perspective of how to restart a society. What is missing is a good comprehensive guide that includes most knowledge from survival and farming to advanced math and complexer tools.
  2. No need for nukes, a simple EMP will wipe out all major electricity transformers which will take atleast several years to replace. Cut out the electricity and everthing comes to a halt. Amsterdam had a blackout some weeks ago, normal life just halted entirely haha. Best moment of reflection for people EDIT: The maya's celebrated their new year by extinguishing all fire and lightsources througout the whole nation! Then at one place the fire was lit again and was spread through the whole country, connecting people to each other and the here and now. A total national blackout each year would really raise conciousness.
  3. @Old Soul I'm in for the end of this paradigm which will certainly not go without much hassle and hysteria. The things i dislike the most is this high tempo of work, capitalistic praising and making people insecure if they are happy with their wealth. Some should write a guide how to approach the fall haha
  4. @Old Soul Now that is just a perspective you have. You can see it as a struggle that you and your partner have or something you can work on and as room for improvement.
  5. @Old Soul I think that (virtual) porn is one of the most undermining things to our human beings. It will probably only increase being lower conciouss satisfaction since it is only about getting a short "high". If it was connected to someone you love it would have a function but now you just throw energy in a virtual void. What is there to gain except short term satisfaction?
  6. Artificial Intelligence will never replace real human connection imo. The more something is imperfect the greater the love one can genuinely give. Embracing imperfection is loving your self for the reality you live in. I doubt the future will be completely digital, probably the exact opposite and rejection of the virtual realm. A second renaissance, start living in the here and now and not some virtual projection.
  7. @pluto @RossE @jse @abrakamowse @WaveInTheOcean Thanks for reading and giving feedback. I really appreciate it a lot!
  8. Yes it is possible but you have to let go of all concepts. The ego tries to conceptualize and your true self feels. If you follow your hearth then everything else will eventually align and this is liberation. Someone already posted this but I found this an excellent video:
  9. I don't really have one: Leo, Alan Watts, Terence Mckenna, Sogyal Rinpoche and Albert Einstein are a few persons I respect highly.
  10. I really like the people on this forum! They are all on the same vibe of being present or atleast working towards becoming that. I myself had a large friend group but they are really into partying all day long so I only have one good friend. People have this idea of having many friends will make you happy but for me it's really quality of quanitiy. Same way I don't like small talk, it feels like it's only there to fill some silence and is in its core pretty void.
  11. @Barna Do you know if the freebase experience is much different from the salt form (commonly hcl)?
  12. @Barna Basically the illusion I currently live and that will be destroyed anyway, but that has already happened with a ego death on shrooms. I don't know, is it not weird to feel afraid for the most revealing experience?
  13. @Barna Stop teasing me! I want to experience 5-Meo so bad haha. It will probably knock my socks off and much more lol..
  14. This concept is called Solipsism and the possibility of being real cannot be excluded. If you think about it life is full of surprises and even if everything is only you or the only experience you ever will truly know you are really good at creating an unknown future where everything is possible. Things and people are just very interesting because they all hold a hidden world of personal views and surprises that will always challenge your own experience and can be really fun! I can imagine that if you really get obsessed with the idea this can lead to some existential crisis but you will never know if it is really true or not. Why should you worry about this if you know life is like a game. The time you are here there is so much to discover and question this perspective that it is quite fun
  15. @Barna The machine elves already showed me some awesome stuff. Haven't broken through completely with a large dose since I still have a lot to work on. What I experienced so far was very cool and didn't know that there could really be something so intelligent out there in hidden reality but that's a story for another time
  16. @PureExp @Barna Thank you both for your comment! I think i confused becoming "more aware" with having a larger variety of contents (which is also maybe an illusion).
  17. I understand what you mean, entire reality is awareness otherwise you could not experience it. However i'm looking to expand my awareness in a practical way that i can focus on things that are still out of my current perception? How can you make a blind man aware of colors? He clearly lacks skill in survival and is not able to experience that visual reality and all the concepts that arise from it. His experience might be awareness but it is still limited in some sense where he can go with his mind. I'm looking for techniques or tools to can broaden my perspective to become more aware of how thing arise from reality. An example of raising awareness with a tool is an infrared camera, a completely unseen world but now gives deep insight of states of matter. Psychedelics might be a tool for the mind but are there any other techniques outside of meditation?
  18. You might consider looking into crypto currency like bitcoin. Start only with a small amount and learn what trades are psychological and fundamentally. Put lots and lots of time in technical analysis, buy low and sell high EDIT: Start with max 20 dollars and see how far you come in the next 3 months. Just trade as if it were 2000 dollars Candlestick patterns, Fibonacci retracements, proper understanding when the market is overbought and underbought (Stoch RSI) are very important to make good entries and sell at the right points. There are some educational videos on youtube about this stuff but it's really the basics to even earn something without "gambling". Timeframe and interval are also important always look what the bigger picture is doing and than zoom in on smaller timeframes. The 23.6% retracement is the best entry with lowest risk. Also make sure there is enough liquidity and volume if you trade cryptocurrency otherwise you will have to wait long for your sell/buy order to complete and the price will not be very volatile and significant. You will need this: http://seekingalpha.com/article/198381-four-looks-at-the-psychology-of-market-cycles
  19. More will not always give deeper trips and can even make it more confusing. By focusing on what you feel you can expand that domain enormously almost like meditating. Btw meditating and psychedelica go really well.
  20. Wow! What a coincidence.
  21. Awareness is always but getting properly in-sync with reality is maybe what is meant. Expanding your conciouss awareness to unseen concepts that build your day to day activities. Improving your larger understanding enables you to use that awareness efficiently.
  22. The mindloops can be quite scary indeed and sanity is sometimes hard to find in a timeless state of repitition. I must note that this occurs most often if you are physically doing stuff and you find yourself doing that several times over again. In therapeutic sessions they give you an eye mask so all the external sensory input is taken away and this will offer a deep introspective experience most of the time. Recently a girl told me that she tried this eye mask setting (taking it off sometimes) and that she literally could walk through her head, almost like a maze. Doing shrooms alone versus with other people also makes a huge difference. If you really learn what tripping is and how to approach it solo tripping can give you much deeper insights than doing it with friends for example. Both settings have their up and downs, alone you don't get as distracted and overwhelmed with stuff other people do, but exploring "quests" with friends can be very funny and amazing. Tripping with people you know very well is extremely important because sometimes it's hard to act "normal" and that might be a problem if you are with strangers that don't completely understand you. Don't have a full agenda the next 3 days, sleep well the night before and don't do it if you are not feeling well (physical or emotional). Make it a journey, prepare before you take off. Read books about subjects you want to explore in reality or want to view in a different perspective during that state of mind. Meditating, eating health and getting your initial mindset aligned with what you want to realize will help alot! No experience is really alike, they always show you what you need and there are no excuses. If you experience something you fear than that is something you have to face because it will stay in the depths of your mind. Mindloops will always be tricky but resistance will only make it worse, learn to accept and go with the flow even if it repeats. Being creative like making art, music or dancing if you can do that are all nice things to get more feeling into what you are doing. Doing it in nature where you don't get disturbed by other people is great on a sunny day.
  23. The rabbit hole goes very deep. You can experience things you cannot even imagine from a human perspective. I once became fully lucid in a dream and I was a leaf floating through the air. For the first time I felt what it was like to be that group of living cells and feeling outside forces interacting with that form.. Trees, leaves or any cell in general doesn't have a big conciousness but they do experience feelings otherwise they cannot interact with the world and would die. Looking from the perspective of a leaf you feel it's internal structure or being and also cold or heat and where to contract for example the stomata. Yes.. It was really weird, I know.
  24. We all have the feeling of being embodied in the body of flesh and blood. This body is how we interact with the world and in a dualistic point of view the separation of "I am" and reality outside of us. The physical body is a temporary embodiment of the stuff the entire universe is made of, so you are litterally made of the universe and not from some alien material that is only you. The universe could be seen as a vast ocean of water with many ripples and waves, those waves are still the ocean but viewed from an observer reflecting upon itself have distinct identities. Living creatures could be seen as droplets that temporary live in their own sphere or embodiment until this returns to it's normal resting state. Dualism is created when we embody or conceptualize something because this is the starting point of having separation. Now since you are a temporary embodiment of reality you are practically separated and cannot know anything outside yourself. You can only know your thoughts or your reflection upon some elses thoughts. You can never really absolutely know what they imagine or want to say in the fullest form, it is all an approximation of reflecting upon your experience and knowledge to make sense of what they say or how you experience things to be. Non-duality is the exact opposite and tells us that you don't have any body, there is no separation and you experience whole reality without any relative standpoint in any moment in space and time. It's completely timeless, infinite and void in experience, but practically speaking (there comes the ego again..) survival in a dualistic world cannot succeed without an ego or dualistic thinking. Only death can release this embodied reality to it's infinite void again. Nothing is experienced without body, only an infinite void of oneness. Reality is wrapped around your body because your senses only reach as far as the edges of your body. Even sight might create the illusion of seeing and experiencing something in the distance, this is not true. There is really no distance between you and anything you experience, sight is projected on your retina and experienced at the nerve ends. This might sound very obvious but have you really thought about what this means about the experience of distance? Distance is only created in the mind since the 2D projection of sight has no depth, the universe is wrapped around you like a 2D sheet and only time and memory of the past give it a 3D illusion. The shape of your body is important because it will not only help in a physical sense but also in your mental perception. The body acts like a lens which is made of the same material as all of reality and projects from both focal point a virtual image that we experience as the ego. Metaphorically speaking training and keeping your body fit creates a stronger more powerful lens, whereas the perspective of the mind sets what to look for and how to focus this into your being. I hope someone might find this usefull, some things are really obvious but this stuff goes really deep to what experience is made of. It's not about the content, it's how it gets interpreted. EDIT: Cells are like cosmic foam, temporary bubbles that encapsulated reality in a distinct body
  25. Have a look at one of my post. If you have any questions I would love to help you out.
