Sup guys, I have some big difficulty realizing there really is nothing behind the scenes. And isn't this something crucial to adequately realize your true nature? But how can you? You wouldn't stand in front of a train with your eyes closed and ear shut, would you? It's like when you're being unconscious. I realized that being unconscious also takes place in consciousness and is also reality/existence. But I realized this after THINKING about it. It was no direct experience. It was a realization through a thought. How valid is this? Does this not mean that there also exist things behind the scenes? Because you are NOT conscious of it and can only realize it through a thought? Like knowing that there are billions of people on this planet you call earth, outside of your bedroom. But how can we classify something like that as "behind the scenes" and thus bullshit/ a concept? While justifying your "realizations" through the same process? Very crucial question imo. Enlighten me please

Yeah i'm doing it daily The problem is though, my realizations seem to come from thoughts. And thoughts are the exact reason why "things behind the scene" are mere concepts/ideas. I struggle with this contradiction.

Yup, agree. There is no scientific evidence that you have free will. There is no "you" to begin with, but that's some deeper shit. You can test it right now. Before you do something, there is always a thought process. That thought process could be an image of a split second you're not even aware of or the voice in your head for example. It's mostly the first. Can be a combination. You don't have any control over those thoughts. Try to do 5 things in the coming 10 minutes and contemplate it. Try to become aware of that thought and where it came from. You will see: there is no control center or command center (ego). Shit just kinda pops up out of nowhere. Some say it's from the subconscious. But that would mean you have just as much control over your heart beating as your thoughts.

Backlashes are mostly a sign of progression my man. This path will take you 2 steps back for every 3 steps you take. You have to get used to it. It's a part of the game. Embrace the nasty shit. But that is all skills you need to develope. Good luck man.

Besides that, if the energy is real and not imaginery, you might not want to force it. It can be an extremely powerful energy. It purifies. That means it devours the old you in a sense. This energy can be used as an indicator, but neither way should there be an emphasis on it.

After every social interaction, are you obsessively replaying everything in your mind to critize the interactions? If so, you are a master of turning "positive" events into negative. It's a form of social anxiety and OCD. What to do? First, approach meditation differently. The skills you learn during meditation, you MUST use them daily in every setting. Meditation is not just a blissful escape of an hour. It's a skill. A fundamental skill to learn how to guide your thoughts and emotions. I don't say "control", because this would mean RESISTANCE. That is the biggest problem. You resist every part of yourself. You have to start loving your dark side. And the good side of course. Fully embrace it. Embracing is not a "positive" act. It does not need pressure or force. It is complete surrender. So surrender the fight. Stop fighting life. You will learn how to do this gradually. Meditate more and use those skills in every practical setting. That's what its all about.

There is no defense here whatsoever. Our taste of reality is caged inside our senses. So it's not a matter of wishing or desiring. Rather, call it humbleness. This is infinity we're speaking of. How can one NOT be radically open minded after seeing infinity. It's very contradictory to me.

I'm very curious about Martin's critique on Terrance McKenna. He completely ridiculed him and his 'imaginary' world of machine elves. I just wonder how you can be so close minded to "other dimensions and realms" when you've had a taste of infinite infinity.

I think that would be a wonderful method, haven't tried it yet. Would also need a lot of discipline i can imagine. I haven't been working too much with sexual energy, because it can be very overwhelming at times.

I've had a full blown kundalini awakening after fapping. Sexual energy is absolutely no joke. But i'm not enlightened. Edit: Try becoming aware of the sexual energy in your body and once you're very very horny. You'll see the amazing healing powers it can activate and how it can expand your consiousness.

The (radical) open mindedness he has developed makes me trust him a lot. Plus i think he could choose to exploit the personal growth market to the max, but he has chosen not to. Would not condemn him otherwise, but this gives a certain perspective about his motives. Sharing with the world. Nevertheless trusting someone does not mean copy everything he does or says. I would not prefer to live a life of a sage for example. He's a big inspiration in many ways. Nothing more, nothing less.

@Old Soul you should at least try mushrooms or acid. Trust me, this will give you a major boost in your consiousness and self development work. It will make it easier for everyone to realize their true nature. People underestimate these other substances, because '5meo' popped out of nowhere after Leo's video's. And making it 'easier' is not really that easy. These substances can smack the taste out of your mouth. Already recommended it to @Martin123.

@Old Soul @Martin123 yeah, that's the good shit. Feels like pedalling in the middle of the Atlantic. Strangely this lasted very short in my case. Almost starting to think i haven't been depersonalized enough But i reckon that this might be an ideal moment to train your intuition. Everythng will probably start to ' flow' and feel very trusted.

That's a common trait on this path. You might have some depersonalization typa symptoms. I've experienced this myself. Didn't know how to react in social situatons. Nothing felt like "me".

Yes, the dropping is needed to calm the mind and realize the nature of reality. Which is nothing and everything simultaneously. Edit: it calms the mind and tempers the resistance to the present moment, created by an ideal scenario (desire)

Yeah, exactly. Heard some master say that every conscious step you take, is one further away from your true nature. So one should completely drop all desire and surrender to reality.

I sometimes think that people just have their old believe system replaced with another one. I think people are still underestimating the believe systems and concepts that are running their lives. Deep as fuck. And ever-changing.

Hi guys, The more I'm developing on this path, the emptier I feel. Now after having some unity consciousness experiences i really have difficulty to be grateful. It feels very fake. Feels like an emotion you have to artificially (non-authentically) create yourself and force it into reality. It doesn't feel natural. I have a question: does gratitude attach your ego to stuff? I can remember that Leo said you should try to be grateful for non-egoic stuff. So not only your personal belongings, achievements and so forth. But.. Being grateful for example for someone else's happiness, for the beautiful nature or even for the most negative things on earth. Aren't these projections by your ego? Aren't we attaching ourselves to these things?

I really wouldn't know the cause of this, but beware of developing a spiritual ego. Subconsciously a lot of us use spirituality to be 'one up'. To be better than the rest. To tell them what life really is all about so you can feel better about yourself. I'm aware i'm doing this myself. The ego is very tricky. You really have to introspect so the intentions will surface. But of course, this might not be the case for you. I have years of experience of psychedelics. But no 5 Meo. Don't know the effects.

Try flying dude! Crazy shit. When i'm aware i'm dreaming, i get waaaay too excited everytime so i'll be awake in no time. But once it lasted just long enough to fly. Try it. You won't be disappointed.
