Yeah a lot of therapists do this too unfortunately... Yes some was helpful but some you can tell are trying to drag things out with you and keep telling you you're still sick to keep you seeing them at pretty outrageous prices. It's really hard to tell the difference when you're in a vulnerable place. -

I just thought Leo's guidelines weren't being enforced, which gave the sense that some people were allowed to "break rules" than others. Maybe if he was more clear on how exceptions are handled it would make more sense. -
Hmm... very tricky given the social climate where you're located. Almost like the more it is suppressed the more it makes you think about it/obsessed. I guess talking about it here might help as you feel safe to express it and people aren't bashing you with a hammer. Could try talking to a foreign therapist if you can afford to. How important is expressing this side of you to you? Maybe you would even consider relocating to an LGBTQ-friendly country for it.

Was chuckling at the same. ??? -
@Federico del pueblo No worries, much love. Cheers!

@Federico del pueblo There was actually a subtle but enough difference between how you said it vs how Leo said it. One comes off as more derogative/objectifying than the other and I don't think men nor women likes being talked about that way. ?
-
@Federico del pueblo Not all feminists = anti-sex/kink. In fact I think it's not very feminist to be anti-sex, it's like saying women are not allowed to be sexual/kinky, not exactly pro-wom . https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sex-positive_feminism

Oh yeah that was a great one. Very comprehensive.

Yes it is if you like them, it is not the height that a 'taller girl' may be rejecting, but the fact that the 'shorter guy' simply doesn't try on them or feel insecure about this and this further validates to them taller girls don't want shorter guys. But of course like anyone if you get a pretty strong 'no vibe' there's no need to keep pressing either. An inch is like nothing.. I've been pretty strongly attracted to guys a foot shorter than me.

Was there some kind of trauma to the body or a repetitive strain? I had a couple of low-speed rear-end accidents before and slowly then developed back/neck pain. I couldn't get rid of it on my own, in the end, I worked with a chiropractor who did some re-alignments on me and after about 6 sessions I was pain-free. Maybe worth checking that out as an option. They usually also recommend some exercises/stretching based on your condition.

LoL the overflow thread to "Nahm Demoted" thread... -
LoL, it's easier if at least one of them leans towards asexuality and/or is not attracted to each other in that way.

Hmmm, as far as I have gathered from Andy's protocol, DMSA is the way to go and works better on lead than mercury (not sure about the brain and how much it collects there but I imagine with osmosis it would work its way out eventually?). Seems like the main differentiation is that you can do an initial 8 rounds, then just 1 round of DMSA every 1-2 months and continue for 3-5 years lol. Supplements are the same for mercury except you don't need zinc and magnesium.

I have found tremendous solace and healing in sad/heavy/sacred kind of music, it has probably saved me from possibly going down a self-destructive path. If it feels addictive it probably just means you have more to move through/grieve and that it's a language that speaks to you. Classical music in particular was so great at leading me from utter grief to transcendence and love. I do not know if music alone would've been enough to be where I am now which is a level of peace I haven't experienced before. Writing, reading and understanding, spirituality all played important roles. Therapy - having my shadow sides seen and loved unconditionally with a healer was what completed the circle for me. Sounds like you're very in touch with where you are at right now and this is a healthy thing to totally let your feelings come up and be 'seen'. To me, it's the only way to move through it.

There are different takes on how a UBI should run/look like but the point is towards simplification not complication as is currently with existing social supports, the less conditional it is the more accessible which is the point of 'universal'. Could just start as like a 'dividend' of whatever surplus is collectively generated up to some sort of 'cap'. Yes, people will argue endlessly over what the appropriate amount is and why we would give such a dividend to someone like Jeff Bezos but that's kind of a distraction to not do anything at all.

@Forza21 Because that's not what Leo says in every post/thread, he does give practical/relevant answers most of the time.
-
Do what feels right to you. Try a bunch of things and see what feels good to you. That way you have a higher chance of finding someone that resonates more with you I think. Personally really enjoy the process of getting to know someone too.
-
@Onecirrus Yeah it's unfortunate... seems like people who are loudly opposed to a UBI (even some leftists) also often are the struggling 'working class'.
-
And that is no small feat.
-
@Raptorsin7 I'm sorry about your experience.. yes there is stuff in the relative that can be worked on/healed and shouldn't be bypassed imo. Sounds like that's what you needed to move through whatever struggles you were/are going through.
-
@Raptorsin7 What I was always a bit confused by was that @Leo Gura stated in his Guidelines: What’s NOT Allowed: Self-promotion Coming here to start your teaching/coaching/guru business by leeching off this audience Not sure how this was an exception/was allowed to continue for so long.

Meeting people where they're at seem a common issue... and he perhaps has more influence in this as a mod. Personally don’t have trouble with his style but I can see how some can get frustrated. You're still loved @Nahm , I recall getting alot from your reply in my very first post here asking for help and getting a similar feeling of love and care with some of your replies to others. Don't change that about you.
