@phoenix666 take a large sheet of paper, make two columns; belief - and experienced. Start putting things in columns. Be RADICALLY honest and RADICALLY open minded with which column you place your mental items in. Do this, and it becomes obvious. Think of doing this, and no progress is made.

@Torkys one time, reality poured through me and I cried tears of joy for days. I’m still mesmerized by the magnitude of love in the truth. “Flying” also comes to mind. The body sleeping while conscious is delicious. My most blissful meditation experience ever though, is no thought.

@Martin123 you’re probably already familiar with him, but just in case, Graham Hancock is a great resource for this. Godspeed! Also, have you done a high enough dose of shroom tea? (Or other more preferable safe substance)

@SOUL the truth can literally be experienced, through years of the practices and or psychedelics, and sometimes by a deep crisis, out of body experience, or near dear experience. The actual truth is transcendent to a conceptual ‘truth’. Conceptual truth is actually belief / thought. Denying there is truth is a sure sign of being on the path to discovering it for one’s self. It’s part of the process. When all beliefs are dropped, including beliefs about the truth, then the experience of truth is at least available.

@George Fil what is it that you are coaching people on?

Part of seeing through the illusion is distinction between experience and thought. That’s the level of game it’s runnin.

@Brimstone Thanks for that! I think it’s weird, I told my best friend about it, and he didn’t think it was funny at all. No one does. I think maybe the mind gets too caught up in the poop part. That’s life I guess.

@Brimstone ya. 3 times. wife pooped pushing the last one out. i looked at my mother in law and said 'oh great, now i have to go too'. nobody thought it was funny.

I think there is a false premise of spiritually needing to accept reality, and finding imagination to be the opposite. ime, creativity and imagination are more accessed by finding the truth within, vs accepting the illusion as reality.

@SOUL truth constructs minds. the mind can not construct the truth, thats a trap.

@pluto awesome. The proximity of the ego from source is Goldilocks-ish, like the distance between the earth & sun.

“I” doesn’t need anything, “I” is the truth. If you identify you as the body / brain, (delusion) only then is there the need (delusion) for the chemical change (illusion), which still doesn’t produce the “I” experiencing it, but it takes away a lot of what is being experienced, revealing the I.

@kieranperez hits me like you lack motivation to ‘row’ your life. Possibly because you have not determined where you’re headed. Write out what you want in this life on a piece of paper and hang it on the wall. I wanted to be financially free, my rowing was retail, insurance, investment properties, start up co investments, etc. You can enjoy it all along the way. Know where you’re headed, take everything in as little pieces at a time, and be aware of how you’re putting pieces of a bigger thing together, especially when it’s hard.
