@Ilya Abe has this analogy that comes to mind, where she’s driving from Uma (?) to Phoenix. We type the Pheonix address in our gps and get on the road. What we we don’t do, in the physical world, is get half way there and say “Phoenix is an impossible dream”, and turn around and go back to Uma. That would be ridiculous. So, do that in the nonphysical, inner you, world. Set your destination of inner peace. Meditate daily. Don’t stop half way there and ask if it’s possible. It is. IT IS. You are doing the world a service by being. It takes a few days of consistent meditation. If you get impatient, sit, relax your body. Then relax it a little deeper. Breath from your diaphragm, and relax yet a little deeper. All those tiny little muscles right upside your entire vertebrae, relax those. KNOW you are on your way to Phoenix, and your dream is not impossible. I know you’re busy serving your country, so here’s something you can be doing 24/7... Why is it important to engage the diaphragm for breathing? Five advantages of using the diaphragm are: 1) Efficient gas exchange –the bottom third of the lungs is where about two thirds of the gas exchange takes place, so oxygenation is more efficient when you use the diaphragm 2) Less tension and tightness in the neck and shoulders as the muscles here can relax 3) Diaphragmatic breathing rebalances the autonomic nervous system, reducing heart rate and breathing rate and changing from sympathetic fight or flight to parasympathetic calm and relax 4) Diaphragmatic breathing gently “massages” or moves the abdominal organs, aiding digestion and helping lymphatic drainage; much of the lymphatic system is located just below the diaphragm 5) The diaphragm contributes to good posture and core muscle strength, so needs to work properly. In fact overdeveloped abs and sucking the stomach in can hinder proper movement of the diaphragm, and promote upper chest breathing http://www.breathingremedies.co.uk/2014/07/23/five-health-benefits-of-breathing-with-your-diaphragm/ -

@Timotheus you’re being way to hard on yourself. You’ve put in sooo much work and accomplished a lot. Sit and breathe from your diaphragm for a few minutes and try to realize who you are, what you’ve accomplished. My advice - keep a focus on the foundation and slow down on the trips. Sometimes experiencing that love too early in the overall process can make us feel like we’re missing something or not getting it right. TIM YOU ARE GETTING IT RIGHT! Write down all the things you’ve done for yourself. I think you’re missing what a solid list that is, and you deserve to feel much more accomplished than you are allowing yourself to at the moment. You got this bro. You really do. ❤️ -

@LaucherJunge Hell ya man. How is it that there is anything at all? What the actual fuck, comes to mind. -

@egoless you’re alone right now. The illusion is convincing though. In reality, you are so much infinite love that you’re dreaming this right now just as a means of sharing it. -
Nahm replied to Telepresent's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Just below all thinking, right under our noses, is the reality that is love. All illusion is relative questions & answers. All love is inspiration. When there is a question, the answer, the truth, is found alone, in silence, in inspiration. -
@Dan94 Angry dad. I didn’t know it was contagious. I played through bleeding fingers. I found myself in the space between the notes. Got so callus, I couldn’t feel a thing. Didn’t care. Seeked, seeked, seeked. Lost and found my mind a dozen times. I bled all over everything. The peace is in silence. In Nothing. It’s in you and you alone. So, the practices.

@Preetom @Dan94 ?? I went Brian WIlson for years in a room with my guitar and caprice 24. So my advice is from the value of hindsight. Literally forgot my first name in madness and depression. Now, I play and sing and am legit not there / zoned / bliss. Hope it helps. Remember to stop and love right now. Always.

@Dan94 i find if i am solid and consistent on those things, what I want happens, and is quite enjoyable. The process always aligns me and gives me the clarity, and the questions disappear. Again, just opinion, but I get sucked into sorting the content, and often blow past the work at the root, on me.
-
@Dan94 merely one opinion.... foundation first! 24/7 focus on breathe enough sleep every night healthy eating daily exercise early morning meditation (2nd daily) afternoon or after work meditation no "drugs" or alchohol this takes as long as it takes then make a vision board of anything u want Only then, when ready, bring psychadelics in. start small. be smart about it. no matter what occurs, keep the foundation / practices going everyday. this is extremely hard when everything is going great.

Nahm replied to Craig F's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Craig F you are seeing through the illusion of self. Then you’re asking what about selfs. There are no other selfs, or a your self. The veil is really a miracle within a miracle. -

@Afonso beautiful. Just my two cents. I don’t know a damn thing about anything. But we all do know one thing. We now know we can stop, sit, and shift our focus on our breathe. We don’t know how long it will take to get back to good, but we do know this much. That is something. Something big to me. -
@Mathew Pav thank you for posting this. It feels great being able to relate to someone on such a unique experience. Man I love trip reports. The veil is really something man. What. A. Trip. Right? I had almost the word for word same breakthrough just a few months ago. The clarity on the One that I am, and the person / reality through the veil. I used to see the veil as something on the human, now it’s clear (for now lol) the veil is on God, imposed voluntarily by God, allowing / creating the experience of the human, which of course is God, or The One, and not seperate from the human. Last weekend, I went on a trip again, and the veil slipped off like taking off a pair of sunglasses. Like nothing. Effortless. But then I had a new experience. My previous experiences were basically, everything is One, then everything is dual of the One, which is actually me and non-dual. But this new experience was that what is, is, and there are no words or thoughts for it. Nothing to be said. Nothing to be thought upon it. It is. I get something I didn’t get. The ‘why people don’t talk about it’. It’s because there’s nothing to say. It is. It just is. There’s this factor of all this that I want to ask you if you can relate to or have any thoughts on.... It’s been a few days since the last ‘unveil’, which I’ve experienced a good number of times. But the ‘back in normal reality’ right now, is a new experience. I feel that (and who knows if there’s any “accuracy” at all in my experience) the veil isn’t there, yet at the same time, here I am. Maybe I just accepted the veil? I don’t know. It’s like, where did all the little emotions about everything go? Or, as if the micro judgements that I wasn’t so aware of are not there anymore. There is everything and nothing at the same time. Anyways, thanks again for sharing Mathew! Love you brother! Side story, two ufo’s hovered about me last Thursday night (while driving. Completely sober) then the same two hovered above me Saturday night. That could really sound crazy. It is crazy. But, it’s true. Nonduality is a hell of a drug in it’self. ❤️

@Alexo45 just throwin this out there, but, last wknd, super solid trip, for around 2 hours of it, my buddy and I could only utter to each other (in between laughs and glorious insights)......... “what the actual fuck”. Not a typical phrase for either of us. Weird man. Awesome. -
a lot of people work at regular jobs selflessly, they're called parents.

where do you find the conflict, specifically? what are running into challenge wise?

Nahm replied to How to be wise's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
nobody stops their thoughts, but some maintain their focus on their breathing consistently enough that they are without any attachment to thoughts. blissful. -

@Blue is the sea Hell ya it seems that way. I hear you. Consider....why do you think what says words is you? Are you you when you’re not talking? Are you the thinking, the mouth, the sound? The hand that writes? Don’t eyes say more than words? Isn’t silence the loudest sound?

Reality is an illusion of just a very high number of pieces. There is no reason we can’t live forever. It will happen soon. Manipulating the pieces is really the human specialty.
