  1. It is just a thought that you know what someone else means. It’s an assumption which perpetuates an illusion. None of us know what anyone else means. We know what we think they mean, based on the meanings we hold. Hope this helps, if you know what i mean. Another entry point to this, is consider, if we did actually know what someone else means, we would have no words. It’s a subtle thing, but can crack open a big piece of the puzzle.
  2. @Mighty Mouse “I don’t do heart!” - JM Good luck! ???
  3. Self inquiry is really underrated. Lol!
  4. @alyra a couple of motivational videos on YouTube would be more effective than using not fearing death as a way to not pursue what you want.
  5. @Butters It doesn’t need to be one or the other. We can always take where we’re at, and find what need in it. Find more symbiosis in your ongoings. Train employees to be more than they imagined they could be, and integrate PD into the work place. Grow yourself out of the business, more freedom. Use the time to deeply pursue spirituality / enlightenment. Donate time, and or output from your hobbies to charities. Live in the flow of beneficial for self and other. Obviously you’re doing great. Well done. Good luck!
  6. @MowingMichael Either you’re trolling, or something really deep in you, below the entire psyche, led you here, and you’re wondering what that is.
  7. @Andre Quinonez If you’re feeling to attached to one mix it up and listen to a bunch, in between / during - living and making progress on what you want. ?
  8. @Dantas Been there too. Every moment is a fresh new opportunity. One after another, after another. Thank God for that. ?
  9. @Buba This state is the outcome of negative self inner talk. Likely due to past trauma inducing a strong sense of no control, and thus affirming a mental barrier, a wall of protection, to going within and discovering the self. In addition to at least 20 minutes breathe focus meditation every MORNING, practice 24/7 stomach breathing, practice your unconditional love 24/7 - as viscerally as possible - feel it - as much as possible, don’t effort, just get out of the way for it. Shine the light of awareness on your triggers, the light desolves them. Much love, and good luck. Right now, you can’t even imagine how precious your life is becoming. Hang in there. It’s unbelievably, unfathomably, worth it to stay strong and do the practices. Mindfulness desolves all triggers, then all questions.
  10. @Mighty Mouse There are two kinds of seekers, masters of self deception, and the absolute. ?
  11. @Joseph Maynor Congrats on your breakthrough. Feels pretty damn good, no? ?? ”Love”
  12. Imagine taking one big step backwards, but your body, brain, and mind stayed where you were standing. Only consciousness took a step back. And then it see’s literally what the fuck is going on here, from outside / behind the entire human experience you were used to. Then you step ‘back in’, and see everything for what it always actually was. Every memory, every thought pattern, every preference, every idea, is know ‘seen’ very different. It’s the oldest, most engrained memories and concepts that are then seen to be the most facinating. Or, what you most knew to be true, was not true, and so now it’s mind blowing.
  13. feeling no difference between the body and the world is ineffable and I cried a little bit sharing that with someone. It's not like it sounds and we don't get to talk about it with loved ones. That is why this place is special. ? .@eskwire Me too. ?? And it really is special.❤️
  14. @Dantas I would not expect any dark side whatsoever. I know this is blunt, but if it was let go of, and genuinely not expected, there would be no experience of it. Too much too fast can throw our life for a loop, but the dark stuff challenge must be won in our minds - winning the “thoughts that become thought patterns” game. Practices empty it out, and reduce thinking until there is no chatter anymore. This makes it much easier to win the “find a little bit better feeling thought” game. I think it’s fun, quickly & highly rewarding, and momentum builds over time and when unwanted memories of events from our past are triggered, they arise to the new, higher, more positive state of mind, and are more easily seen from a higher vantage point, making it much easier to make peace with them finally. They just won’t fit in after a while. Peace of mind is always here, now. We must slow down to it’s speed. It will never speed up for us. Lol. But it really is available right now. You’ve been in one moment your whole life. Past & future are truly only thoughts. They are thoughts that mask, or veil the beauty and joy in this moment from us. So, be looking for the joy of the moment, try to realize, it is always the same moment, and the fabric of the moment happening around you, is joy. The name of the game is slowing down the mind, and body, positioning us to make headway on the better thoughts momentum. It’s specifically important to choose self appreciating, loving thoughts when referencing our I, me, myself. Every word holds power. ‘Sit’ through, and apply awareness to, any dark that arises. I see the overall pattern as killing it on the determination in practices, but resistance thinking based in doubt leaves you taking 2 steps forward and 1 step backwards. Without attachment to thoughts of the past, and without repetitive self doubt thoughts - it’s just stepping forward and stepping forward. Above all, be patient with yourself. Treat you at least as good as you treat others. All that contributes to foundation, which I think you’re doing great with. Then, consider taking some trips, you’re an artist right? Artists are leaders right?
  15. @Dantas Thanks. Not tryin to be so contradictory, but it’s not a knowledge thing imo, this ‘dark stuff’. To me it’s like a riddle, always immediately around us, literally everywhere we are. It can be resolved now, or at any moment. The hard part is it’s like finding hay in a hay stack using a hay microscope. It’s the closet door that is the most intelligent, the most esoteric, and the funniest punchline as it carry’s no baggage. The power of self love, and unconditional love for all is so subtle & simple, it’s incomprehensible!! ? But it’ll light up the dark if we just let it.
  16. @Dantas The progress is glorious, and blissful. What I was saying is, the other stuff - the dark stuff - that’s not on the path, it’s not of the connection so to speak, it’s of the separation, it’s removed from us while we stay on the path. Can’t bad mouth the path man, it never hurt a soul. jk ❤️
  17. @Shroomdoctor The intense pressure and fear are the result of moving all of your presence in from the moment, to thoughts and ideas of potential futures. Just sit, meditate, whatever, get back to the moment without all the thoughts. Let go of everything. Get to your ‘happy place’ Get a pencil and a piece of paper in front of you. Write down things that come, categorize, draw time lines, whatever, but if it’s not fun and even a little exciting, go away from it for a bit, meditate, etc, and come back to it. The reason the ‘weight’ of the potential futures sucks is because the thoughts about what you’re gonna do, how it might be if and when you tell your parents, etc are just thoughts, and you are caught up in believing them. In truth, you are completely free, and when you let go and connect into the present, you are more connected to infinite intelligence, and that’s where the best books come from, where the best albums come from, etc, etc, etc, and that’s where your plans can come from. Don’t believe the thoughts. They are things, like appliances, and carpet. They are not even yours. Let it all go. This is an opportunity to practice this, if you don’t, you’ll always find something else to stress about. Pragmatically, I know a few social workers. They all hate the job and wish they would have picked something else. I am self employed, and it is heaven to me. I want freedom above all else. My advice would be, if you do go into psychology, make the goal to have your own practice, and to replace yourself by employing others. Though, it sounds like there might be a field you desire to work in more, but I don’t think you mentioned it. Go to the biggest picture you can, forget about college and career path for a minute, take deep stomach breathes and zoom all the way out.....ask yourself.....what do I love? What do I like? Am I a solve things person? Am I a people person? A nature person? An animals person?
  18. @pluto and maybe life is about mastering love.
  19. The gas ran out on this one, and you fired the whole machine back up.
  20. I don’t know about the eyes, thats awesome that it worked though. ?? I’m sure your processing, right? Give it a few.
  21. @Joseph Maynor That’s why the term Truth & Absolute are used. For what it’s worth, I see your trajectory, and you’ll experience it yourself soon enough.
