Some of the most charismatic convincing people in the world are dishonest and motivated by money, ego, or the gruesome combo of both. —You are the only one, the only being. You are everything.— See what I mean? That’s the truth, right there. It doesn’t help though. It wouldn’t matter if everyone used the same words or not, because that’s all illusion. The guru you like and agree with & the guru you don’t like and don’t agree with, are equally, completely, illusionary. Illusion hides the truth, it doesn’t convey it. The level of hiding is literally unbelievable. Truth is only experiential. Only direct experience will do.

@Shanmugam Can you accept, that everything word you’ve ever said or written, every practice you’ve done, all of it, amounts to nothing? It’s very freeing. RIght and wrong is duality thinking. It literally amounts to nothing. I know you know this. Well, I think I know you know this. Lol.

Another post suggestion - brutal honesty - like roast style ripping each other to shreds- hold no punches. . That’d be funny, fun, and bonding. Might just be my flavor though, not sure.

@Shanmugam Hey. Wow. Sorry. I’m realizing ‘funny because it’s true’ humor does not translate online. I apologize. We’re the same being man. We both know this. I love ya. I do see how poorly that came across. It’s not that I think those gurus are wrong, or that you’re wrong, it’s that it’s an illusion, it’s now, and it’s infinite. I’m coming from a much different place, we all are. Paradoxically, you are the only being in existence - knowing this - why would you think there is anything objective at all about gurus? This reality is subjective, it doesn’t exist. Lighten up man. I have read the authors you’re referring to, but it was over twenty years ago. It’s like a past life to me as the realizations thereafter from quantum physics, practices and psychedelics show the literal nonexistence those gurus were pointing to. This nonexistence includes them. Maybe you realize that maybe you don’t. Who cares though, right? It’s a dream. It’s play. There is nothing serious going on here. Again, I fully apologize as I see I offended you. I suggest, if we’re all gonna keep jerkin on enlightenment, that we make a post, and each personally define what the hell we’re even talking about - and we don’t comment on eachother’s comments - just on that thread. It gets it out. We see where we’re coming from. Of course, at the same time, I’m wrong, and doing this amounts to nothing. That’s the pure freedom of the dream. Nothing amounts to nothing. Sorry again. I think more highly of you than I have exemplified and I’ll be more mindful.

@Shanmugam More discriminate than seeing authorities as right or wrong. This is the duality game...there are 6 more who say the opposite! More fundamental than assumptions one knows how ‘others’ think, more deep-seated than a feeling of need to quote ‘others’, more intrinsic of direct experience than what teachers can say with words. More perceptive than ‘has to work on reaching’ - as a reactive dualistic perspective on what is a a completely open ended expansion of consciousness. More all encompassing than being outside of psychological time in the awareness, actualized being outside of physical time; times to go to work, times to eat lunch, times to leave work, etc. Deeper than the duality of these things implying any ‘craving’ - more clarity on projections in interpretation & perspective. Without freed consciousness, ‘another’ ‘must’ have cravings, ‘another’ ‘must’ have seeking, no. Expansion does not need duality, it only holds it back, keeps status quo. And then there is access through consciousness such as out of body, paranormal, inconsistent ‘reality’, premonition, interaction with Aliens, etc, etc. There is nothing “done” about infinity. You are all that is, the bar is were you place it, if you place it. Or not of course.

If there are not deeper consciousness states, then why do some enlightened people refer to / post the words of teachers, and ancient masters in their responses? I mean, why wouldn’t they just say what comes to mind, since they are equally enlightened? They could simply reference their own previous experiences.

The pos / neg terminology is arbitrary, and electrons aren’t even things, other than determined by the movement previous (leptons, quarks, etc) Technically, an electron is a lepton, and even more technically, there’s only one electron, and it doesn’t exist at all, and it’s you. Seriously. Comparing love to a ‘physical’ component is like comparing the ocean to a drop of water in the middle of it. Pos & neg charges don’t exist, they are the fundamental fields of duality which constitute the illusion. There are countless fields, and they are illusionary.

@Monkey-man The charges could have been labeled Frank and Edward instead of positive & negative, and the atom still wouldn’t exist.

Direct experience is without your person, without illusion, only the absolute, which is what you are - this is why the word direct is used (no senses, no thought, no person). It’s the most worthwhile experience in any human lifetime, imo.

@Gligorije In addition to the usual suspects (practices & psychadelics).... learn to play guitar and sing, and write songs. Great for flow of ‘zone’ and creativity, learn discipline & dedication too, and gigs are great for confidence and as a social outlet.
