@Faceless I love it! Thanks for sharing those!

@John Iverson You been at this for a while and it’s really nice to see you taking steps, starting to come into focus. More experience will reveal more of what you want, and will enhance your plan, as you go. All that came to mind for me, is maybe getting solid on coaching to fitness, diet & shadow work, and helping younger people. When you’re developed yourself more, then coach to that. Best of luck to you John! It’s gonna unfold nicely and I’m excited for you!

@StrivetoThrive Detachment is becoming more aware of the ego at play (self serving). We have a tendency to form our identity, or “what I am”, with things, purchases, houses, accomplishments, other people, etc - and we don’t even notice. The problem is that if we ‘build our selves up’ this way and pile on to this identity, we at best have a false short term shallow sense of happiness, and when we lose those things, when the tides change; our beauty, our money, our predicaments change, then that happiness is revealed as false, and we crash. Not to mention there is a feeling of pending doom well before those things that change, change. But if we learn to detach from material things, and other people, if we look deeper into this ego, we see what it’s up to. It’s basically repeating “me, me, me!!!’ We see we can be happy, just to be happy. We don’t really need so much. Paradoxically, we enjoy everything so much more when we don’t feel we need it. With the sex, detach from needing your partner - and from needing your partner to be any certain way for you, or to do anything for you. Be communicative with what you want and how you’d like things, but become aware of projecting onto your partner with your needs. Meditate every morning and discover your safe and happy place inside. It will grow over time too. Whatever you see & hear going on in the world - don’t identify with it, it is not you. Don’t attach your emotions to it’s outcomes. Explore sex, have fun. Enjoy you life, that is it’s only purpose. Btw, I think you have begun just that. 1 in a million people are willing to be vulnerable like you are to move forward. Hat’s off to you. -
Nahm replied to sarapr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@sarapr That’s thinking. They think they’re rational. They’re taking it for granted without inquiring. Rationalists are not actually rational - beyond the application of thinking in duality. Nobody goes full circle. Just you❣️ -
@Edvin Conscious & consciousness get used in a lot of different ways. Maturity definition and info can be assimilated by googling it. Consciousness is gonna take some practices.

Funny how all the names reconcile to nothing, sans a realization. @WildeChilde If you haven’t read “Stillness Speaks” by Tolle, you might like it. Very Tao ish. -
Nahm replied to sarapr's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@sarapr Because it’s not rational, and there’s no perceiver and nothing perceived. “It” appears that way. There’s a point where rationality ends in each of us, where there is nothing to rationalize. What would be beyond human perception? Maybe, there’s no such thing, to go beyond. ‘Human perception’ is it’s self beyond what Is already. And then it turns out, objective is true. What a reality. -

@WildeChilde I like Truth. And Source. Also, The Unbeliever. “Me” doesn’t translate very well, lol. -
@B_Naz Become authentic. It’s not something produced, (product).

@Investing_in_myself Has no one inspired you?

Practices, reading, retreats, psychedelics, etc. Who had this influence on you? It’s not the result of direct experience. Nonduality is pure liberation. Not a metaphor. There is nothing ‘paralyzing or soul zapping’ about it. This is ego backlash against putting the time in. Do the practices anyways. Meaninglessness is unrealized nonduality and it’s prior to the empowerment of Being in charge of one’s own meaning. Realization brings meaning, and thinking, to be something you did before that death. A past life you are freed from.

@Peter Zemskov Exercise first. Even just some cardio will wake you up for a more alert meditation. It’ll also improve your health and help you sleep better. You might also find some changes in diet will leave you less tired on less sleep. -

@sarapr I know. -
@Leo Gura Had a trip once where my buddy became a very old guru Kung fu ish guy with the quintessential fu Manchu, robe, super long beard, everything. I remember feeling like I didn’t really ever appreciate him when he was my buddy, and that I had a role in ‘the change’. It went on for a while. Kung Fu guy was awesome, though he never spoke once. Sure enough, homeostasis brought my friend back! Powerful stuff.

You have a brain which choose things, desires certain things & experiences. The uniqueness of your preferences is one of a kind, will never be again, a perfect one of a kind creation - presently 1 in 8 billion. The source of you adores you and loves you unconditionally. It loves you no matter what you do, and no matter what you think. Unconditionally. That’s what you’re up against when you make changes. You have to contend with the deepest part of you loving you no matter what you choose to do or not to do. Or don’t contend with it. Use that love to empower every change you want. If you really look, you will find, that when you are experiencing a problem or difficulty, your thinking is negative about it. Pick a better thought, one at a time, until you’re seeing how it fits into the bigger picture. Seeing the value in it, the real value. Seeing your own development in the change. Seeing the surrender & alignment. If you’re going to master one thing, make it your own unconditional love.

Nahm replied to Maycol's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Faceless It’s not really a ‘state’, it more of a reveal of what’s actually going on, what actually is. Anything one says to another about nonduality is inherently not describing it. I can say the whole thing is you, but that doesn’t really describe nonduality. It does have to be experienced & realizated. Not realized like mentally understood, but like actually reality. I’m not trying to be secretive or vague, I hope it doesn’t come across that way. It’s the nature of the subject. PMing.
