@Mikael89 I don't know This is the relavance of understanding there is no objective universe. You actually get to decide if it’s possible. Best advice I ever got...pick one thing, one change and simply write it on a piece of paper, and forget it.The next day, spend 5 minutes on it. It’s really eye opening.

@Mikael89 Just a note from my travels, but upon the first realization of nonduality, there was absolute clarity that thoughts are brain stuff (dream stuff) and the dream by and large is not a thought of the Being, but rather so far outside of what a brain could comprehend, because the brain is dream stuff. Direct experience from outside the brain is necessary, cause the Truth is incommunicable, and even if it wasn’t, it’s unbelievable - as in, no one could be expected to believe or fathom it. That, is death. Death is not a bad thing like society believes. But, you experience this, then try to tell people, and you just come off as arrogant, lying, ignorant, and someone starts talking about using it to justify suicide, etc. For one, crystal clear, for two - very messy.

Not knowing is honestly, humility, complete open mindedness, which by the nature of you asking about this, you certainly have. Knowing there is nothing to know, is from direct experience of transcendence of thinking, which includes all things that could be known. There’s just water, until it realizes it’s oil, and when it does, it transcends water, it inherently rises above the water. Not because it is superior, but because that is the nature of oil. From that perspective, all the water (thinking / knowledge) is revealed to be, water. “Be like water” - (Chuck Norris) And you’re already oil.

@Key Elements ok, thanks I understand what you’re saying. I think the Buddha just fully realized what he already is and psychedelics are useful for self realization. Once realized, in hindsight, the methods don’t matter at all, imo. But I think you mean in his ‘life’, beyond the realization, his compassion and giving, will psychedelics ‘help’ that, for Leo or the hypothetical Buddha. Yes, imo, dramatically. One could get hit by the lightening, and another can ‘do the work’ with enlightenment. Both are already the same, just different paths to realization.

I think you’re right on, that it is the nagging, resistant thoughts which we must practice being without. 2 sides of the coin sort of. Can’t just sweep em under the rug, and pretend they aren’t there. You really gotta look in the mirror and say that ain’t me. Those are eyes to see, and hands to do, but it ain’t me. I’m a little reluctant to like, list the events of “my” life. It’d surely appear as one big humble-brag. I respect the place you’re going with a mega thread on this. “Success” gets a bad wrap. IMO, there is nothing at all wrong with wanting to be massively successful, and expecting happiness to come from it. How else can one go full circle, and know the deeper truth than from direct experience? We’re ‘here’ for such a short ‘time’. Do it all, have it all, be it all, see it all, imo. It honestly is weird to me that you’re mentioning me in this way, because I don’t feel like ‘that guy’ in terms of success. To think that I have, or could inspire someone is what really keeps me going, keeps me focused. And I really really appreciate it right now. It’s really two in the same I think, and I hope it’s taken as reciprocating the love... “Allow the realization to begin, that this illusion is not being done to you, it is being done by you, for you. If it is still hard to understand that indeed you are behind the whole thing, the earth, the sky, your person, the entire universe, all of it - this is simply because you are still identifying with beliefs. All your thinking & beliefs are not what you are, they do not define you, that is your illusion.” Everything we think and do parlays into the next experience so seamlessly, we don’t notice. A play on that old path saying....Consciousness work doesn’t really exist, but only a fool doesn’t do it. One person might work at a job, and sleep through their life, while another with the same job is doing consciousness work, doing the shadow work, doing the practices, taking the trips - they begin to become free and awaken, their mood is lifted, their attitude is lifted, their ego is understood and is being deconstructed. Others gravitate to this liberation, promotions are offered, partnerships with others who are driven are offered and....what dreams may come.

@Deepu The problem is that the Truth in not believable. For example, you are the only one who could ever know it. Does that sound believable, or not believable? See what I’m sayin? It’s true though. ?

It’s not your body, (brain too) in the sense you think it is, that’s a thought. It’s not alive or dead. The body & brain are like goggles that make you forget who you are, and make one thing (no-thing, for the type A’s) appear as a shload of two-things. If it changes, if it’s relative, it’s an illusion in appearance, until it’s no longer illusory. You’ve done all of this, your brain and body, the earth, the Milky Way, etc, by yourself, without a single resource or any help from anyone or anything, and yet, nothing has been done. That’s no house of cards dude.
