Nahm replied to Aaron p's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Aaron p How many days have you been meditating, what kind do you do, how long is each session? How many days have you spent breathing from your stomach? Hypochondria - go visit a doctor, get a physical, get blood work done. Have the doctor make 2 columns on a piece of paper; what is wrong with you, what is not wrong with you. Hang that next to your bed to remind you. -
@NoSelfSelf Practice, watch some youtube videos on breath control, etc, develop your voice. Who cares about my opinion. ??

@Recursoinominado You can eliminate the falsities, the other than direct experience, the difference between thoughts, beliefs, awareness, etc resolving your own suffering and conversely see the ‘suffering’ constructed a you to own it - and then share that with others. You could knock it out in a day with a pen & paper and no distraction, and no deviation from the topic of inquiry - you. Falsity isn’t in awareness so to speak, it’s in thought - in ‘relativity’, always things (thoughts) have been added, assumptions, but anything added can be realized to have been added. There’s duality in empathy & apathy, and a pendulum, but the whole ‘process’ can be sped up, by realizing the whole. -
@NoSelfSelf ?? If ‘we should do what we’re competent at’ were followed, we’d all still be rolling around on the floor pooping in diapers. Virtually anyone can develop the ability to sing well. Talent is usually a matter of watching the puppet show without being aware of the strings, or, having your mind blown by a talented singer, and not realizing that is the three thousandth song they’ve sang. If talent is illusion, practice is it’s reality. Singing is a perfect practice for enlightenment btw, as it requires mastery of concentration, posture, complete breath control, registering vibration in multiple parts of the body simultaneously, it builds confidence, vulnerability, appreciation, humility, etc. After enough practice singing, it’s not too hard to realize our vibrationary nature, relatively speaking.

@Recursoinominado What if you’re behind what you’re experiencing? What if it’s your perspective, your thoughts, behind your suffering? What if you realized this, and helped other people realize this? Ah, but there is uniqueness being an empath. -
@Ingit Wise mom you got. Assumptions are the opposite of direct experience. Your friend probably isn’t even with you. Over-thinking is a sneaky mofo. Stomach breathing, all day, very powerful stuff that breath.
-
@Ingit Do it or don’t. He might be poopy pants to you about it, he might not. But the suffering, you’re doing to yourself, with the false assumption you could ever know what anyone is thinking. Let go of that absurdity, see the hilarity in it and enjoy the relief. For all you know, he is not thinking at all. There is never a conflict in your direct experience.

@SBB4746 You’d have to believe you are in the ‘maze of life’. -

@Mikael89 It’s worth it man. Learning this ‘second language’ is part of the discovery of unlearning the inner-language of conditioning, of anger, of fear. It’s sooo deep in there, cause the “I” “self” is soooo deep in there. Sooooo worthwhile. Absolutely a joy to witness. This is a great thread. ????????

@Salvijus I don’t know if I’d call it ‘tension’. If I can feel it, i can relax it more deeply, is kinda where I’m coming from. I can’t seem to sleep on my back, I’d like to. Any specific actionable you did that worked for this? Thanks! -
Nahm replied to Salvijus's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Salvijus Ya. I do wave relaxation head to toe, relaxing eye sockets, cheek muscles, etc. What do you do? -
@XYZ Just another thought, maybe a pack or set, of those little aroma therapy bottles with a stress ball? Neat Christmas item imo. Also, maybe words imporinted on the stress balls. Opposite of stress words, like ease, harmony, etc etc.
-
@RabbitHole I took it as laws of physics.

“Who Chit” ??? @who chit ??
-
@Jack River No.

@Robert ?? Robert makes a hell of a case here, imo. If you have another perspective / understanding & intention relative to the meaning of life, just ask yourself, why? As in, whatever you think the point of life is - scrutinize that by asking, why do I want that? Why do I thin that? Try to prove that you are not the literal center of the universe. You can’t. The universe is your illusion. Seems crazy af, I know. If it’s unbelievable, go ahead and spend a decade or two reading what the guru’s have to say. But before you do that, ask yourself why you’re going to do it.

@Cortex Realize you are that infinite freedom, creating the laws, to allow for this experience - in appearance. There is nothing, in actuality, to fix.
