Have you really realized that letting thoughts go is how new perspectives which feel good & serve you can arise? Do you trust that’s how ‘it works’?Sounds like you’re aware of that when meditating but are not noticing how you get ‘sucked into’ perspectives which don’t serve you when you’re off the cushion.

God Love is unconditional, for everyone. Bad & good are your opinion, everybody has an opinion - there is no ultimate authority on bad or good. Eventually you’ll see there is no bad or good, just opinion. And the author of that ‘abomination’ line from the Bible, imo, was probably gay and suppressing his sexuality & emotions. You be you. Every person you run into will have their own opinions and views on what is bad or good. Love yourself & do your best not to judge people, and you will live in love, without judgement.

@tashawoodfall Something’s way off here. Why is there communication with his wife instead of him? Maybe you’re thinking, because she did it. Still, why would you ‘confront’, or be talking to her at all? Why aren’t you talking to him?

It reveals value projection, on enlightenment, but there’s no such thing as enlightenment, and value is a thought. ”Quality of life”, is relativity / relative. Then factor in one who is well aware of this comes accross someone who is suicidal, and so they tell a story about how “you’d just be starting over”, or “you lived many lives to get to this point, keep going!”. It’s just hard to spot a story in a story. “Understanding” = Infinite Humor, like a punchline “needs” the setup. Without “understanding”, there is no inner & outer world, only crystalline emptiness, thoughtless and without movement.

@Peo In this order every morning....yoga, meditation, self inquiry...if possible, then psychedelics (do ample research). Starting now and through the retreat, eating clean, exercising, doing creative / expressive things (and the practices above) Also, imagine you’re going on the retreat to die. If you wronged anyone, apologize. If you love anyone, make sure they know it. If you’ve got a habit of beating up on yourself for anything, forgive yourself, over and over again.

@Conceptually-made Satisfaction is relative. It matters as it matters to you.

People have carved through stone walls with spoons for freedom. People risk their lives to flee tyranny for freedom. People have lit themselves on fire, for the freedom of humanity. Crunch the numbers, learn, develop, earn income, move out, support yourself. Free yourself. Then create a non-bullshit corporation, and show others how to free themselves. This is not other than enlightenment work, it is your calling.

That’s a non_nothing sized decision, ... sending love & clarity. I think a good question for the therapist, is how important is honesty?...... Why did he / she choose to help people? (They were in your shoes) Was it just prescriptions that helped them? Which ones are they on now? Did anything else help them?

What is their problem that they don’t know they are creating? What is it, they don’t know they actually want? What are they filling that hole with? What is statistically the next thing they’ll fill it with, and the next? What is that hole? Why can’t it be filled? How can each one of them know this, for their self? How can they understand emotions as messages? How they “got to” where they are, is the answer to how to change it; to let it go, so something different can be experienced. Do they understand the nature of distraction? The root? Have they been challenged to discover the power of doing nothing? Has their ignor-ance ever been pointed out to them, from love? Do they realize thoughts about what other people think (peer pressure) are just their own thoughts? What I would have wanted, when I was depressed / suicidal, is just for someone to be the example I didn’t know existed. But as good fortune had it of course, I had to be that, for my Self. Though it has one seat, we’re all in this boat together. Why do some live in frustration & strife, while others flow effortlessly, synchronistically? What is different in their perspectives? There was a time you weren’t doing this. Consider making up a character & story, and tell them why, what you tried, what you found, what you did, and how the experience of your life has changed.

Yes. The happiness you seek is what you are, the resistance (depression) is habitual thinking, and the believing of thoughts. Happiness can not be “achieved”; when you let go of perspectives & patterns which aren’t serving you, you discover you are happiness. Stop repeating what does not feel good. That “feel good guidance” within you, start listening.
