@Charlotte I’d suggest just 1g. No rush. Slow & steady wins the race so to speak. I think you’ll retain more and have more to integrate. Also I think the worst thing one can do with psych’s, in the beginning, is too much too fast, and end up basically put off by them for life.

Also, the answer to your conundrum could be that it’s not an achievement, but the opposite, a dropping of what one has been holding. In the sense that anyone (99%) could be enlightened, and if they are not, it’s because they don’t want to be. @Charlotte Ever have some worries and fears before going somewhere & doing something, but then you went anyways & did it anyways - and then said oh, that wasn’t actually bad like I thought it was going to be? Ever have a fear of a “mountain to climb” - but you climbed it? View from the top is worthwhile though, no? Past the fears - even the climb, in hindsight, was beautiful, no? Make tea, don’t just eat em. Take on an empty stomach. Don’t take them late when you’ll be getting tired in the next 4 hours or so. Don’t go ‘walk about’, and don’t call the police just because ‘you think’ something is wrong. Sit in a comfy chair, with comfy Charlotte stuff. Write on a piece of paper something like “Just breathe. Relax. You’re ok.” .5g to 1.5g is pretty light and introductory. 4g’s and up is into the major breakthrough range. Watch out for that limbo in the middle. I wouldn’t take between 1.5g and 4g’s. (Also I wouldn’t jump right to 4g’s and up. I’d build up to that. Some people swear by jumping in at 4g’s though and it works for them) If it, sorry - when - it gets ‘hairy’, breathe and let it. Just let it do it’s thing. Don’t resist. And if by chance you do resist - then don’t resist the resisting. I think you’re ready to go, and I am very very happy for you.

@kieranperez I understand what you’re saying, but it will not come in the way you demand. Do what I suggest, read all of the posts on this thread. Question the emotions behind your words here. Bring your absolute best Honesty game to the review of your words. Ask yourself, “is this who I am?” Or of course, don’t. Really up to you. I understand “ain’t nobody got time for that!” ?

Put the Mind to the emotions, reactions, triggers, etc - give it relief from the circumstances, situations, etc. Trust the emotion, not the thought. ??

@kieranperez The middle part, the bliss of no ego, no overthinking, with regards to your recent trip report - There, all ‘things’ become known, and There all things are possible. Through meditation, and inspection of what disappeared and how - going into that “middle part”- as well as the inspection of how “it” reappears, coming out of that middle part. Psychedelics are helpful, absolutely, but also, nothing is hidden from you. You are asking about practicality, putting it into words. Consider it can not be put into words, rather, the path to it is present in your words themselves. Something I find very helpful, is taking the time to go back and read one’s own post - and look for where it was covered, evaded, suppressed, avoided. Many posts are of the ‘right’ question, few posters allow themselves to receive the answer. Usually the post of a question becomes the unseen attraction of like mindedness. And do not make the grave mistake of misinterpreting any “bad” emotions as of the circumstances, nor of what others say. Use the circumstances, use what others say - which bothers you - use THAT. Do not trust the thoughts, trust the emotions. They have eternally guided you. Listen.

It’s not a perspective, though it is all perspectives. I can not describe ‘it’ either. The tongue can not taste itself. The finger can not point to itself. The finite mind limits, though disappears in alignment, rather, unification. You could say you are ‘coming home’ - Remembering. I can not find the distinction between Love, Truth and Beauty, nor between Joy & Laughter. ‘It’ is ‘here’ too, present, is all I can tell you. I want to tell everyone, but it is unbelievable. I want to give it to everyone, but they are already ‘it’. I want to share ‘it’, so I am reality. I will always however, be a Universe. That’s ok though, cause I can create delusion too.

@Matt8800 100% agree. I think there is a ‘missing link’ which you didn’t mention there, and it is the one which appears to be causing the issue of one not getting from meditation, to the place of knowing the inner guru. I say appears to because this ‘link’ is initially misunderstood.

@Matt8800 You’re reading me like a book. Gonna push it even a little itsy bit farther....what if, in meditation, thoughts arise, suggesting other practices, other people, psychedelics, yoga’s, psychologists, maybe traveling to high energy vortexes, etc, etc, arise? Would the course still be to ‘stay true’ to the meditation?

@Matt8800 Thanks. In your estimate, does meditation “work”? To the degree that if one says it does not work, it is actually working, they’re just not aware that it is working...and so they quit.. ? Whereas, had they not quit, and embraced what arises (emotions), they would experience the very breakthrough they have mistakenly moved onto another way of seeking.

Not in righteous anger or in judgement, but, in love . Without love, we are nothing. Love is patient, love is kind, it is not jealous, it does not boast, it is not proud. It keeps no record of wrongs. It rejoices with the truth. It bares all things, it believes all things, it hopes all things, it endures all things. When everything else disappears - faith, hope & love remain. But the greatest of these, is love.
