Nahm replied to nistake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@nistake For sure. But looking through it as an expression of how you’re thinking about meditation reveals what you’re yet willing to scrutinize. Saying there is no you, nor meditation, and that you are not meditating isn’t linguistically helpful either. But it’s the answer none the less. Who reached a plateau? How many ‘inner bodies’ have been released so far? -

@lostmedstudent Hundred trips or so, never experienced this once. Curious what the difference with this is. Is it there right when you wake up or does it set in later in the day? Have you covered basics...hydration, vitamin D3, B & B complex? Have you tried exercise and or caffeine in the morning? BMI maybe? Live / raw foods, enzymes, etc? Always been intrigued by this. -

My thought. My awareness. I’m observing. I spot. I let. The nothingness. It’s not. It’s not. It’s just. I ask myself. I can’t. I do know. A part of me waiting for something. The devil’s in the detail. Maybe meditation just isn’t for you. -

@AlyK So true. ?? @Thought Art Good for you. The heart aches perhaps because it is your dance partner, and far from a wallflower. It’s dreaming you, infinite love intelligence. I’d listen, connect in feeling. It’s actually good in a way to go explore the ‘dark side’ of perspectives. Kind of a right of passage, an inspection work of curiosity if nothing else. But the delight is that such perspectives are always met with that confounded achy heart left on the wall. Anyways, how would we realize experience but by creating it via being it? Try to enjoy the show. When you do you infuse it. The more you do so the more insights you get, and the better you feel. Inspirations & opportunities literally just pop out of nowhere. The tougher times are when you really have to let go, throw your hands up and laugh at the absurdity of it all and have faith things will work out. It infuses the working out of things. The more you experience the more you know of what you don’t want and what you do want, that’s what what you do want is made of. It’s creation. I had lots of jobs and bosses, and most were good, but the realization that I do not want jobs or bosses was greater. What you want is the phoenix of what you don’t, but you’re at the focus helm. Always up to you captain. Self always has what it takes. Doubting is futile. You just have to go see, rather than give thoughts about it too much weight.

@Thought Art Feeling better has to come first, as everything you’re wanting is reality and reality is unconditional. This means changing perspectives & letting conditions that aren’t resonating with you go. The conditions in terms of perspective are limiting your feeling goodness, who you are, and what you’re capable of. I had a job counting empty cans & bottle returns for a while. It was one of three jobs I had at the time. A stinky, sticky, messy job. I set up little plastic basketball hoops with the dingers on em on the rims of the empty bottle bins. Flipped cans & glass bottles over my shoulders, round the back, etc without even lookin. Broke a few of course but developed the zone and was truly unstoppable. Definitely had to shower at the end of each shift, but man I loved that job. Next shift was making pizzas. I made the best pizzas ever. No one could distribute the toppings more evenly, not possible. The cheese was laid so perfectly that it formed a perfect circle within the circle of the outer crust. The symmetry clicked with the soul of the customers, I could see it in their eyes when it got to their tables. Lots of waitresses worked there too. They seemed highly attracted to the fun vibe. Good times. Lead to better & better opportunities and relationships. Wishing you the best man. This too shall pass. You’re plenty good enough & have tons and tons to offer, and you are not alone, we’re all in this together.

That you are skeptical of your own beliefs, is actually a belief you’re holding. Your approach could be fine tuned. You’re stance is “if no one can disprove something than I must be right, I must have the correct view / understanding”. Understanding is going on on floor 80, we’re talking about floor 10, so to speak. You can’t know floor 10 by talking about it on floor 80. You have to go see floor 10. Contemplate...how many believers in death are you actually directly aware of? If you contemplate & investigate that thoroughly, you will find the answer to be zero. That consciousness is your identity is a belief. Fingers are pointing to the moon, but rather than looking at the moon, you’re identifying with the perceived implication (your idea) of the pointing. When you actually see what consciousness is, the last “thing” you’d identify with or as, is consciousness. “Content” also, is a belief. How many believers in content are you directly aware of? Deep sleep is your belief. Contemplate, how many believers of deep sleep are you actually directly aware of? (Not your thoughts about what someone else says they think, not your hearing of what anyone says they believe, but, direct experience.) This is the place on the path where you realize thinking & what other people say or think has reached it’s natural ceiling. You must go alone and see. To ‘get there’, you will empty of (not face, empty of) every single fear, falsity and belief. What you’re thinking & believing is reality is not reality. Horton is reality, and Horton is being Whoville & all The Who’s. That aside, yes, you disappear. Which is not the same as saying you sleep. If you were watching a movie and people were awake and asleep in it, it’d be obvious that you are not...just the actors in the movie are. Even if you were one of the actors in the movie, this would still be obvious. Yet in “real life” it is not obvious. This is because you identify as the apparent actor, as you should. It’s perfectly innocent and normal of course. But so is recognizing the call of the intuition, and going to see. Not trying to apply pressure or anything. Hope it doesn’t come off that way. You can always wait until a future life. -

Is it possible, in your estimation, to deny something which doesn’t exist to begin with? A belief is not The Truth, that’s all. But then all beliefs are The Truth. If you build a house out of legos and ask “is there a house there?”, well, yeah there is. It’s a lego house. If you ask “but what is the house really?”, well, it’s legos. There isn’t really a house there. Is there a you? Well, yeah. But what are you really? Well, consciousness. But if you believe you’re consciousness, that is not the Truth because it’s a belief. So therefore you must see for yourself, so there is no possibility remaining of belief. Seemingly paradoxically once you do, there is no Truth. Death is the lego house, not the legos. -

@Someone here The materialist paradigm is the belief consciousness arises from or is a product of the mind body. That you are conscious, that you sleep, that you are awake. Too much belief in this leaves little room for actual awakening. -
God doesn’t need billions of years, evolution, organic life, unfolding complexity, etc to experience. God just makes it seem as if there is a past, time, causation, other than direct experience, etc, via the veil of a “Roy”. To believe in those is to be forgetting who you actually are. Without “Roy” there is no universe at all. What appears to forget actually forgets to appear. Roy is sized perfectly between an atom and the earth, the product of billions of years of random mutation. What are the odds of that? What are “odds” other than as known, to you?

Likewise, the illusion of “death”. Perception is never thought, thought is never perceived. Smoke & mirrors. -

@Litaken Perception is beauty. There is very literally nothing ‘there’ but God. You are being this world, and you are this beautiful and utterly selfless. Thank you. -
