  1. @zoey101 do you hate a real thing or a thought? what and where exactly is this thing that you hate?
  2. at the most fundamental level, you can't become something else. instead, surrender to what already is. the rare thing here is sincere surrender.
  3. @mohdanas no idea, thought or belief will ever be satisfying enough. how would life feel without attachments?
  4. @Ingit you do it because you have no idea what you are and what a thought is.
  5. since my 16's i've always had this mysterious urge to seek meditation practices whenever hard times would come. then once i got hit by a huge wave of suffering so i went really deep into the zen tradition.
  6. meditation + being aware of thoughts patterns that try to sustain self-image beliefs
  7. @tashawoodfall wisdom and virtues first. looks and wealth second. that's the filter order that i recommend to any person that wants to find an interesting partner. but don't just apply the filter on others. apply it on you first! also, notice that the thinnest part of the filter comes first.
  8. @Charlotte where are you trying to get? sit down give up already...
  9. enlightenment, truly the damnedest thing ever. what is being alive? what is the nature of experiencing? the eternal hide and seek! existence is so playful! i am in awe!!! WHAT A RECKLESS MYSTERY!!!!!
  10. i healed my sexual insecurity / lack of confidence by giving up on trying to hold any kind of self image. give up on trying to build confidence and then it happens. as long as you keep on trying to live to please others, you'll suffer from the same issue.
  11. @Viking every man is man and woman. every woman is woman and man. it's very easy to answer your question. do you imagine yourself having sexual relationships with other men? you don't have to answer me.
  12. @lmfao try shorter deadlines. they're working like a charm for me. i've been a professional procrastinator for 29 years... until last month.
  13. @Norbert Somogyi i would use the extra time that you get from living with your parents to study harder and be a GREAT engineer. that's what i did and it was completely worth it. i just had to learn how to deal with my parents since they were super protective as well. wanna think big? enter the realm of renewable energy. it's going to be the path for mankind in the next 50 years. living by yourself is highly time consuming because you have to use too much of your time to do things that your parents already accepted doing even before you were born. use your time wisely.
  14. zazen, hatha yoga, kundalini yoga, ayahuasca and healthy food
  15. @Marinus how long's it been since you quit porn?
  16. marijuana just makes me feel reeeeeally retarded. it's like trying to cure a wound by making it numb.
  17. @Max_V being able to explore emotional connectedness is an extremely rare ability and is totally worth the time to master it. it can be used to listen deeply to others, know how they feel and why they suffer. answering back is not needed... just by listening to them deeply you're already helping them release suppressed emotions. thich nhat hahn has some profound teachings on this subject.
  18. @Max_V getting lost in the mind instead of having the actual experience is a common mistake for human beings. the answer is simple: don't commit. instead, start playing with it; start writing already. see how it feels and watch yourself grow as you dive deeper. that's how i live. the only commitment i have is with the practice of virtues, which improve my life drastically.
  19. what good exists in you other than sexual stuff? if you're expecting something from others that you can't offer to yourself then you're just being hypocrite. hypocrisy makes your life miserable very quickly.
  20. @George Fil some really tasty and healthy meal!
  21. just a simple warning... hypocrisy is, by far, the biggest trap for those who take the path you're taking. if you cannot practice what you say, every word will be a new brick as you build the temple that represents your failure. similarly, if you're able to practice what you say, then be ready for the highest life ever. i wish you good luck, fortune and wisdom.
  22. @Revolutionary Think congratulations on hard working!
