@Durka_Durka It's the ego (mind-created sense of self, false identity) that is scared shitless when being discovered and exposed for what it is. Be aware of it. Self-actualization is developing your ego in a responsible way, integrating and including it, and transcending it. Meditation, mindfulness, staying in the present moment will help you tame your 'monkey mind'.

@Pearl_Eve Leo mentions the causes of depression, anxiety, fibromyalgia in his video called '40 Signs That You Are Neurotic' http://www.actualized.org/articles/40-signs-that-you-are-neurotic My close friend has fibromyalgia and she says continuous body detox and healthy diet help her, she especially avoids foods that cause inflammation. She's also been taking chlorella (super-food algae) and says since then the pain subsided significantly and she gets more energy.- 7 replies

@Mppdidi I tame 'my monkey' mind with meditation, practicing mindfulness, staying in the present moment. Do these things consistently every day to develop a habit of it. Leo's latest video 'Meditation For Beginners' will help you get going.

Leo's guided meditation for creating an experience of no-self in his Spiritual Enlightenment part 3 video can help you do that. -
Can you observe everything AS IS from that point of no-self (awareness), while in the present moment? This is IT including 'you'. Or as Mooji also puts it 'You are the thing you're seeking'. EVERYTHING (all forms seen and unseen) and NOTHING (everything beyond the object reality). That's the shift you're looking for (in perspective, not with your physical eyes) - very subtle, no earth shattering, quite ordinary. But you'll be like 'This is so freakin obvious, why didn't I see it before!'. If you can't 'see' it yet, go through the meditation again, at some point it will just click. Also, I found this presentation on self-realization very helpful too for it's great insight and simplicity. Watch it, you can't miss it:

We eat plenty of whole organic fruits and veggies too, and green morning smoothies are a staple. It's just that the question was about drinks and fresh juicing is a much better alternative to store bought processed beverages, especially if you have a kid at home

Yes, that guided meditation in Enlightenment part 3 video is quite powerful and can lead to the shift. Unfortunately, a lot of people overlook it or simply don't want to take the time to do it. I actually had to go through it twice before I had my aha moment.

I had my initial seeing while following Leo's guided meditation in his Enlightenment part 3 video.

Since self-realization is about a shift in perspective, I would say the up IS the down -
@jes Lemon water (with no sugar) is awesome - it sets your digestion up for the day, revs up energy, cleanses and detoxifies, etc. I drink half glass every morning, all year around. Fresh juicing is another way to get good vitamins in. I have an Omega juicer and juice almost every day. My fave is carrot/ apple combo with a bit of ginger root. In the fall I make pomegranate/ cranberry/ grape juice, which is also yummy and super nutritious. My son loves fresh grapefruit juice in the morning and sometimes I'd juice it together with pineapple to add sweetness. They sell now those infusion bottles where you fill the bottle up with water and put a plastic thingy inside with fruit in it (strawberries, blueberries, lemon, pineapple, mango, etc). The fruit/ berries soak up and infuse the water with juice. Another good alternative to try c(:

Thank you, Abra I can say same about you. Proverbs 27:17, " As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another."

@abrakamowse If you took all human brains off the earth, there would be no thoughts and no thinking. But awareness would be always self-aware and manifesting/ experiencing itself through whatever means. -
@Mary I don't want to waste this short life on things that are not real. It's like watching a beautiful nature scene on the screen instead of just getting out there and actually experiencing it personally in real life using your 5 senses. Besides, TV and other social media are designed to condition/ control your mind, and this conditioning more often than not is not in your favor. Leo has a video where he talks about this in more detail: http://www.actualized.org/articles/30-ways-society-fucks-you-in-the-ass

@Mary When I stopped seeing value in watching TV and decided to have it cut off a couple months ago, I did it 'cold turkey'. I called my cable provider and unsubscribed the service. I also, deleted my facebook and use cell phone only for emergencies. The main benefit of doing this is that you have more time to live in the real world, vs cyber reality. I get out more in the nature now, exercise, travel, read, meet with friends in person, etc. Leo's latest video also made me think seriously about getting more consistent with meditation. I have now spare time for that too. It's all about priorities.

He's not kidding either -
@DrMatthewsausage I use her recipes and they work great. You really don't have to spend much time to make these

@jes Strap up to your seat and watch these. If you need to talk, PM me. XO

@Mary There is a good book 'Grain Brain' by David Perlmutter that talks about the downside of consuming grains/ products made of grains. There are a few gluten-free grains that I still include into my diet - rice, millet, buckwheat, quinoa. Our body needs healthy starches to facilitate various functions, and rice is one wholesome starch source. Non-organic rice has been known for being contaminated by arsenic, so no-GMO, organic foods are always a better choice.

Not as pretty as this one

I don't think Leo's telling anyone how to live their life, it's YOUR life to live. He gives us practical 'tools' that help make life smoother and less confusing. I integrate his teachings and concepts with other material out there I find helpful, and only take away what enhances my life most.

@DrMatthewsausage I buy my organics at a local farmer's market, health-food store, Publix carries now a wide variety of organic produce/ eggs/ meats, and even Walmart. I also make my own nut milk from raw coconuts and almonds, bake kale, potato, banana, etc. chips, ferment, and preserve using home-made recipes. YT has good video manuals on how to do all of this.
