  1. Cool topic! I think that it's best to only include vocal songs about truth, love, spirituality etc. Not that classical can't be spiritual, but it's not directly relevant and else it might as well turn into a 'post you favorite song thread'. Oh well. - I like these songs because the first one is so pure, about love. The second is about the unique you exists, and can shape your own life, very beautiful. Oh tumblin' leaf You fly so high Let's go chasin' Butterflies We follow clouds (we follow clouds) Up in the air (up in the air) Painting pictures Of fairy tales Oh, summer sun Hold me in your arms I love you mother nature Your sunny fields of green I love your taste of freedom Your singing in the wind I love I love Breathin' deeply To smell your summer rain I love I love When you kiss me With your sunlight on my face I love I love I lay my head Under the tree How many seasons He might have seen The golden fields They softly bow And seem to whisper A lullaby Oh summer sun Hold me in your arms I love you mother nature Your sunny fields of green I love your taste of freedom Your singing in the wind I love I love Breathin' deeply To smell your summer rain I love I love When you kiss me With your sunlight on my face Like a warm embrace Oh you little bird Tell the whole wide world That I save my love for her I love you mother nature Your sunny fields of green I love your taste of freedom Your singing in the wind I love I love Breathin' deeply To smell your summer rain I love I love When you kiss me With your sunlight on my face I love I love - Song about self love. Life experiences itself through the unique you and you decide how to live it. I am unwritten Can't read my mind I'm undefined I'm just beginning The pen's in my hand Ending unplanned Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten Oh, oh, oh I break tradition Sometimes my tries are outside the lines We've been conditioned to not make mistakes But I can't live that way Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten Staring at the blank page before you Open up the dirty window Let the sun illuminate the words that you could not find Reaching for something in the distance So close you can almost taste it Release your inhibitions Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins Feel the rain on your skin No one else can feel it for you Only you can let it in No one else, no one else Can speak the words on your lips Drench yourself in words unspoken Live your life with arms wide open Today is where your book begins The rest is still unwritten The rest is still unwritten The rest is still unwritten Oh, yeah, yeah
  2. The double slit shows collapse occurring by the apparatus. Many then conclude that it's solved because the apparatus makes the collapse and not consciousness, however, the apparatus and all things exist out of quantum particles themselves, what makes the first collapse? But then, to blow all doubt out of the water, you have the delayed choice quantum eraser experiment which shows collapse of the wave function through just knowing which path information, and there's no apparatus involved in making the measurement before it hits the detectors. Now that should convince your professors, but since they probably have a vested interest in being right against their student, want to fit in in mainstream science and their colleges, simply can't belief reality is actually pointing clearly to unity consciousness they probably will deny it. By the way, noble prize winning scientists who agree include: Max Planck, Erwin Schrodinger, Eugene Wigner, Niels Bohr and Wolfgang Pauli. 3. Weed does a great job at showing you your fears, which is why it 'should' be used in a setting where they can be explored, so not in superficial social situations, for the most beneficial effect for growth.
  4. I don't think weed is a waste of time at all. Most people distract themselves during the time of their high, but if you just do nothing with a moderate to high dose of edibles it's still really profound and a good starter before psychedelics imo.
  5. Before I talk about affirmation I want to speak about I think is most important/beneficial. First, realizing oneness. This is a process most effectively done by giving up the ego and sitting in stillness, being mindful, self-inquiry. Concentration practices, devotional prayer, selfless service etc. may also help or lay groundwork for letting go. Affirmations could also fit in there as a concentration practice: 'I am one', 'I am love' etc. I also find that feeling 'as if' I am everyone and everything and feeling going into the oneness is expanding my consciousness. Second is emotional purification. This comes naturally when you open up your consciousness, your shit simply starts to bubble up into your awareness, all you have to do is let go of blocking it and you will feel and cry it out. Perhaps deep insights may also almost cut away tensions. What also helps is practicing love (also goes for realizing #1), actively looking for tensions/blocks in the body, going back to childhood (this guided meditation I find really cool https://vimeo.com/187391631), talking with other people openly and just looking within and being honest and open to yourself. Of course many things can work, dancing, psychedelics, sex etc. Same goes for #1. Do and explore what you feel attracted to and excited about. Being a positive balanced persona. This absolutely comes naturally from #1 and #2 in a very effective manner so this is a secondary optional practice, but perhaps very helpful still. Techniques include consistently choosing positive constructive actions, thoughts and words. Affirmations are very relevant now, as every thought you have really affects your mind. You can observe this very clearly on cannabis, but it should be clearly noticeable without it as well, I also found the trick is that you use things that you deep down know and thus also belief on some level, indeed 'I AM FUNNY' could be one (you've had funny moments, you can have them again, you were naturally funny as a kid, perhaps you forgot it now, but YOU ARE!), same goes for 'I AM AWESOME' (you are life expressing itself, can't get more awesome than that), or 'I AM BELOVED' (you are by God and also by anyone with a clear mind). Say them continuously, repeat it end on end with chosen conviction and I think you will start to feel it's truth and excitement within minutes, or perhaps within hours or maybe it even takes longer depending how much resistance you still carry around. It all works, really well, just take the actions consistently, do not give up and find the others. Peace. <3
  6. Yes, keep meditating and you can explore the feeling. I have the same thing and it has to do with self-judgment for me.
  7. this is amazing
  8. Nausea doesn't happen to all and grinding the mushroom or making tea can help as well as ginger.
  9. You don't desire to pick up girls and have sex. You desire to be the true you, the happy child like authentic you. Though the path has many paths, I think you could get there running after women but it's pace probably won't compare by focusing on inner/consciousness work as well, and thus try to combine the 2. There's nothing wrong with socializing and sex, but if you see the other world as your solution to your problems (including partners), you will be disappointed. Not to mention, there is no bigger attraction than someone who is being himself, it's what we all strive to be, and we instinctively know that people who are themselves can teach us into being it more so.
  10. Even though I've heard it a million times, just like to share that the interviews with Martin have brought some falling away of identification and I feel like 'constantly' just thinking and visualizing/feeling that YOU ARE/WILL BE/WAS EVERYONE has some effect. Also visualizing/feeling like how you would feel right before taking 5-MeO, you might feel some fears appearing, in the body, that you can work with as well.
  11. This interview is awesome, really takes away some of the fears away about 5-MeO when it's talked about so down to earth and practical, and it seems so fucking full of potential it's insane. Thank you guys
  12. Leave obviously, but do it completely openly. If you have bonded with them over time, I think it would be very wise to truly explain how you feel, give them an opportunity for in sight as well, because they too deep down want to be out of their suffering and negative ego. And because you too will have held nothing back, you and them have thus no reason to stick around to each other.
  13. This short movie is really really good
  14. Leo has nothing against these ideas, quite the opposite I belief. Regardless, I follow evidence and direct experience.
  15. I don't think so, it all takes place within consciousness. I don't belief the ego is born there either, I belief and identity is born into pure spirit, as a thought, in a thought realm (spirit realm, heaven etc.). It can project itself into a physical incarnations, until it's agenda has been served, and it may take breaks in between, all for various different reasons (you need contrast to experience the perfect freedom, love and oneness (limitation, fear, separation). So it focuses itself into a body, DMT projects you into the spirit world and sometimes into ego death, 5MEO into ego death, how and why this happens I don't know. And no, life does demonstrably not get worse after DMT necessarily, often the opposite occurs, yet it's always up to you still.
  16. I meditate for hours a day and it's the most pleasant thing I do, it's great, and the fruits it bears, mmm.
  17. Enlightenment is fun, it's the process of life itself, some may also call this process awakening (indeed, you have been at it your whole life, albeit mostly at a snail's pace and very unconsciously, but that's part of the process too, and not by mistake in design). The monks would realize on their journey that life is not meant to be lived as a means to an end, but to be enjoyed as a process right here right now. But what makes you think it's all chemistry, that refers to materialism, which is false (www.evidenceforthesoul.weebly.com). Can chemicals work on the vehicle, and thus on the spirit, yet it can. Can it be helpful, yet it can. But as Leo said and I think too, you will need to integrate it into your life, or you would be missing out it's biggest potential and fruits.
  18. I really like the Conversations with God books and therein it was said, about the suffering of the world, that it could all be seen as perfect (though I must say, I cry about the littlest things still sometimes), the reason that was given in short was: 'All of life arises out of choice and there is perfection in the process.' And I think that is believable, as I know God is good and nothing happens by accident, sometimes people also experience this, people that have had the worst life's and they experience God and they say their life still was perfect in the grand scheme of things. Whether an enlightened person would cry, I doubt it, only out of beauty I think, but I do belief they would live for love and be of service to beings, I mean, what else is there to do after true enlightenment. - As for the question as to what it is, I don't know. I belief awakening goes on for infinity and enlightenment a big step, a big shift, from the ego to God and I think to see it in a person, they would be completely in the flow of their being, no holding back ever, because that always comes from fear and fear is the illusion that was let go off.
  19. It's part of the game. It's a unique thrilling and often fun experience for one. Second, physicality needs to exist in contrast to non-physical: Can't know unconditional love, freedom, abundance, peace, bliss etc. without: judgment, limitation, lack, unrest, pain etc. But you can grow out of it here and now because in trust, you already exist as non-physical consciousness and physical reality appears within you, and you give it all the meaning.
  20. Meds as a immediate way to calm somedown, possibly, aside from that the meds all stink as a solution because they don't resolve trauma. In fact, a study from WHO showed that schizo's in 3rd world countries did twice as better than the patients here lol http://www.independent.co.uk/news/mentally-ill-do-better-in-third-world-than-in-west-1320282.html
  21. Mental stress is real, delusions are real, hallucinations are real (often just a projection, sometimes not in which case there is no problem, often a combination of both), most people suffer from this to some degree except for hallucinating. But it's not real in the sense that developed mental illness it's some kind of flue that hits you, or is caused by genetics, or just 'because of chemical imbalance'. It's simply caused by trauma and false beliefs, which the mind doesn't know how to deal with or heal it. Of course big pharma loves it's patients to belief their brain just crashed, that it's nothing they can do about and that they need toxic pills with 250 side effects... for life.. while they are not getting better (pills barely more effective than placebo, Big Pharma until recently was allowed not to publish negative results). It's actually the biggest scam ever, aside from creating a debt based system, in our society. - OP, heal your trauma, go within, talk with other (spiritually aware) people, meditate. Look up Charles Whitfield, the best psychiatrist on mental illness and trauma.
  22. I don't think just realizing that solves all of it, maybe it does, but I've been aware that it all stems out of love for quite some time yet I still work on my fears, joyfully, everyday and will probably continue at it for at least a number of years. Even though it's indeed not really evil, it still is there to grow over it so that we may know real expanding peace and joy only, which indeed couldn't have existed without having gone through fear.
  23. It's one of the most powerful and transformative psychedelics. But not only that, it can stop the physical withdrawal symptoms from opiate addiction (which are hellish and the reason it's extra hard for many to quit) and it also tackles the trauma which creates the anxiousness and empty-ness of the natural real self which causes the craving for fulfillment through drugs. 'Resolution of the signs of opioid withdrawal without further drug seeking behavior was observed within 24 hours in 25 patients and was sustained throughout the 72-hour period of posttreatment observation. ' https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10506904 Of course it's suppressed by a culture filled with fear of their own fear, speaking out would do a lot of good.
  24. The true 'evil' of it is I belief fear. If we wouldn't be afraid we wouldn't care about the suppressive rules and we would just be ourselves regardless.
  25. Trust the process/God, don't think any negative thought about it and just continue to meditate, practice mindfulness and love as much as you can.
