Your dick ain't cut off. People live with severed limbs. You're exaggerating here. You can live in regret and self-pity or accept and move on. -

It is very, very SAD!! Indeed. -

I think you have a valid awakening. There's always degrees to it. You can try to include your body in the process. There's yoga and psychedelics. Why not explore? -

With enlightenment you don't understand what the price is until it's too late and you're already paying it. Yes, you eliminate suffering, but happiness is the price. That is, happiness in the conventional sense. What has been seen cannot be unseen. I think your only choice is to carry on. As to your operation, that thing is really sensitive. But sooner or later you'll get used to it. -

@Meta-Man Good answer. Thank you. @Nahm Now you pulled out the "one man's trash is another man's treasure" relativity card. You're full of tricks. Let me bring out mine. "Kill the Buddha", no, "Finger pointing to the Moon", also no, "Zen Devil", not quite right, "Reverse Uno" ... wait that's not from my enlightenment pack, but it could work. I use the "Reverse Uno". What if you're projecting your solutions onto non-existing problems? What if you're imagining truth where there is non? PS: I'm messing with you. I'd still play though. -

I guess you have to see it for yourself. I once met twins that quite successfully pulled off telepathy. At least that's what it appeared to be. They were in opposite parts of the room and whatever you said to one of them, the other on repeated it. It was amazing. Go to a psychic reading. If the peson has a reputation, maybe he's got abilities. They usually say really vague things, but they tend to come true. They were popular back in the day. My grandma's told me stories that've actually come true. -

I haven't checked this, but didn't scientists prove that plants can also feel. On topic, you can always buy bio, where animals are treated justly. I don't have the money for that investment. I've found that eating less meat is better. -

@Nahm Good old projection card you use, works every time. @Javfly33 Fair enough. I got the impression in this thread that we were opening up about our fears, thus showing that we're only human as @Preety_India did. Then you come barging in with enlightenment talk that we all know works cos we're kind of on the same page. So what are your fears? When were you fearful in your life and how did you cope then? -
EnlightenmentBlog replied to electroBeam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That basic survival function is YOU. @Meta-Man @Javfly33 What are your fears? I understand what you're saying and I've tried it. But then survival kicks in all this enlightenment theory flies out of the window for me. No matter how much you meditate or take psychedelics or journal there will come a situation in your life when fear will arise and logic and theory won't be able to help. That's life. -

Maybe. Maybe you'll shit yourself when you see a lion charging towards you. -
EnlightenmentBlog replied to electroBeam's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Theoretically, that's true. But you'll need years to accomplish that. Some fears are hardwired in your system they arise automatically when the situation presents itself. What do you do in the meantime? -
Maybe I'm rephrasing the previous reply, but just to make things clear. Wait it out. Stop whatever you're doing, become conscious of your sensation/desire and watch it. Don't give in. It should fade away.

I'm not any authority here, but visualizing as if in your own body sounds more realistic and practical.

Cool. As a business tip, you might want to broaden your audience by being on a couple of platforms. I've ordered from fiverr, for example. As for the inspiration, there's always the one-key-fits-all-locks solution - psychedelics. The hallucinogenic ones.

Zombie snail overtaken by a worm parasyte Tardigrade - the toughest organism on earth. Can survive in the vacuum of space A forest is one living organism. One consciousness connected through their root systems. My personal favourite. -

I'm a shy and introverted person. My fear stems from social interactions with strangers and/or large groups of people. I've approached girls in broad daylight, stuttering and shaking. I'm in uni, I've given presentations to whole auditoriums with a dry mouth and cracking lame jokes. But I did it anyway. It helped. But the fear is still there. I guess if I did it a lot I'd overcome it. I don't think you can overcome fear for situations in life you feel uncomfortable. Isn't it like every other emotion? You're supposed to feel it and use it as guidance. Some fears are helpful. Some are not, but you're there to distinguish between the two. -

Others have pointed this out, but I'll make it clear. There is a logical fallacy in your thinking to begin with. If it's all One, all is YOU and YOU are all. YOU become enlightened = everybody becomes enlightened. Nobody else can become enlightened since they're YOU. There is nothing else. -

@Preety_India Nicely put. Out of the top of my head, there's a great short story, called "The Egg" that more or less brings this point home. A simple google search will do the trick. I'll try a logical approach. If I were YOU and YOU were ME, we find ourselves exactly where we started. Now YOU experience ME and vise versa. If YOU were both of US, lets say through some telepathic connection that enabled you to experience ME as well, you'd still find yourself where you started. Now YOU experience yourself through YOU and ME. And so on. Even with all humankind. YOU is defined by what is experienced in the moment. In our daily existence a body and a mind and perceptions are experienced, so they are labelled YOU. Take a psychedelic, for example, and experience is widened, so do YOU. I don't know if this makes any sense. Just tried to give an alternative explanation. -
@IJB063 I think she's trying to say that a lot of men would be clickbaited to answer @JessiChell just cos of her profile picture. Which is true. The underlying funny thing to me is that @remember maybe jealous.

It's relative to you. You become what you consume. The more you consume high-quality content, the more you start to avoid low-quality one. But there's nothing wrong with low-quality. I still watch sports from time to time. I just think there are better things to spend your time on.
