Of course there is tension in your head if you've never been able to experience peace. Your head is a battlefield right now, even if there is no more soldiers battling, the tension in the air will remain until the war is over for years. The water flowing I don't know what that is, but I would guess it's your body purging the inner bs you becomes conscious off. -
You think I didn't try to do that ?

I also pondered this a bit. Can some people have no mystical expériences, because what they really want is the real thing ? I know than a mystical experience, no matter how wonderful, would still be a temporal experience. It would be the same thing as having mindblowing sex or shooting myself with cocaine, except if would be even greater than this this time. Nothing against having amazing experiences, but in my experience, no matter how beautiful, they are a distraction and you tend to cling to them, especially the first times. -

Do you mean I could already had them, but minimized them because it wasn't as amazing as I thought ? Another thing I pondered about, what if some people can grasp conceptually the truth so well, that no mystical experiences could shock them ? When I read some post here and there about how disturbing their experiences are, It kinda looks impossible. Also, I doubt the truth can be even close to what you imagine it to be, so by definition we're supposed to be mindfucked . ??? -
Oh yes, I'm fully aware I could become crazy, live in perpetual suffering, or simply being unable to function in society ever again. Or worse (I read worse lol), but do I really have a choice anyway ? I'm too curious to know anyway ?

Why not ?

The weird moment you realize you may not truly want enlightenment ?

Everything is possible I guess, at least I'll have done the homework years in advance ??? -
I do everyday. I'm wondering something else though. What if a panick attack is an enlightenment experience trying to take place, but since most people fight it, it just becomes a nightmare instead ? From what I read about it, there is no scientific reasons as to why it happens (yet). Apparently it happens even to people with a healthy mind with no buried issues so ... ???

It kind of feels like that. I'm confused with this model because I'm supposed to be at stage 2 (no mystical experiences, just glimpses), but at the same time I recognize myself in the later stages a lot. -
This actually happens almost everytime I sit to meditate or when I try to sleep. Fuck ... ???

Something I wrote on my journal today: I can see now that all that ever happened in my life was about to raise my consciousness and to learn to let go. So there is nothing to regret, and nothing to cling to (since the present suffering is actually helping). Nothing to cling to, because if you carefully look back, and make all the connections, you realize that all the suffering and struggles was necessary to come to this point. So everytime I suffered in the last year I always wondered what the suffering is trying to teach me, what should I do (or not) next, and of course once that is cognized letting go is way easier.

Wednesday The mind tries sometimes to push me to distract myself. Especially with flashes of playing Pokemon, but I know how this will end already. It's only 30 minutes as a way to have some fun ! Why not playing as much as I want, I already done everything I was supposed to do today Why not play a game I really want to play, and not just an old game because I do not want to pay anything (emulator) But yes, paying is too much I can't allow that, so I'd rather play Gwent (addictive f2P card game) But Artifact looks better, but oh wait I need to pay 250$ to have the full collection every 3 months, but hey it's my only hobbie so it's fine lol no, I know all the tricks, I'll just do nothing until I either become crazy or become interested in another healthy and non-addictive hobby comes along. I can see now that all that ever happened in my life was about to raise my consciousness and to learn to let go. So there is nothing to regret, and nothing to cling to (since the present suffering is actually helping). Nothing to cling to, because if you carefully look back, and make all the connections, you realize that all the suffering and struggles was necessary to come to this point.
