How to be wise replied to benny's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@benny It can’t be explained. Sufi story: A man asked a master, “what is the difference between truth and falsehood?” The master replied “4 inches.” The man asked him to explain, so the master said, “it’s the distance between the eye and the ear.” What you hear is always false, because truth can never be put into words. Truth can only be seen. -
How to be wise replied to MsNobody's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@MsNobody Leo has had a rough year due to his health. I doubt he will feel like celebrating Christmas this year. -
‘Someone else’ is only a concept. And most people won’t enjoy raping even if it was legal.

Why shouldn’t we be selfish in life? We only have one of it, so we need to make the best of it we can.
-
@Striving for more Of course. Law of attraction says that if you really believe that you can get something, you’ll get it. The problem is, most people have limiting beliefs that tell them that they can’t have the money they want. Once those beliefs are weakened (through meditation) then you can be almost certain that you will get it.

@Elshaddai Wise and good only means: what will make me happy in the future. So if you think that children will make you happy, then it is wise to have them.

A depressed mind knows no rest. It will only rest in peace.
-
What proof do you have of that being true?
-
Of course you do. You’re doing it right now! Whatever you’re doing in life is valuable to you. Otherwise you wouldn’t be doing it!

How to be wise replied to BipolarGrowth's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@BipolarGrowth Everything in existence is you. And existence is just consciousness. -
@SS10 Spend a small amount of time doing that activity everyday. So small that it doesn’t bother you. Then make it a habit. You'll find that as the weeks go on, you can slowly increase the amount of time you are working everyday. And within a few months, you’ll be comfortable working a good amount of time each day. In a nutshell, start small and increase slowly over time.

@Milos Uzelac Everything in life is a gift. And yes that includes your suffering. Just trust that you’ll be alright in the end (you will be!).

I'm sure that next Christmas won’t be very different. -
I’ve known about him for years, back when I practiced Kriya Yoga. But I never found his videos helpful. He has a short temper, and I even remember a video where he was telling a student off for sneezing! Yet the shocking thing is that Ramaji gave him an LOC of 1000! Higher than Eckhart Tolle and Osho. Did anybody find his videos helpful? Why do you think he is a good teacher?

@Mvrs Of course. God is everything. God is Love. It therefore follows that ego is also Love. -
How to be wise replied to levani's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@levani Most are online nowadays. Why waste your time travelling? The days of ashrams and satsangs are coming to a close. -
How to be wise replied to TrippyMindSubstance's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TrippyMindSubstance I had a massive awakening last year. The main gist of it was: everything you’re seeing right now is all that exists. Before the experience, I was living in a planet with countries, and the planet was floating in space somewhere in the universe. After the experience, that illusion was permanently shattered. The room I was in was all that existed. Everything outside the room was just thoughts in my mind, i.e. not real. There was no longer a city outside the room, no longer a past or future. The present experience was all that ever existed. This was a permanent awakening that has never left me. -
How to be wise replied to Knowledge's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Knowledge It’s better to start a business, get passive income, then rent a small apartment and stay there the whole time. Plus, prison is not very quiet. Btw it’s impossible to meditate 24/7. Usually you’ll meditate for about 1-2 hrs. The rest of the time you just have to waste it. -

@levani Lockdowns are just what people need nowadays. Go home. Meditate. Realise God. -

Goddamn it. My favourite girls are gone. Some I stayed with for years. I doubt I’ll find anyone quite like them. -
A cure is when you simply get rid of the entire health problem. For example, a surgery that successfully removes all the cancerous cells. In which case all the symptoms have ended. Healing on the other hand, is a process that, whilst it works on the health problem, also inevitably changes every aspect of your life. Healing can even include death. For example, someone who is suffering from cancer and is doing healing can even die from that cancer. In which case, the healing journey continues even after death, onto the soul’s next reincarnation.

Lots of spiritual teachers (like Adyashanti) always talk about a final awakening, the destination to be reached. I must say that I find that very unlikely. I’ve experienced many awakenings that have felt like the ‘final awakening’. In fact, after some of those awakenings I even stopped meditating, because I was so convinced that I was ‘there’. But I was always unsatisfied, and just assumed that there is an even higher awakening. And guess what, there was. My point is that there is no final enlightenment. Wherever you are, there’s infinitely more awakenings waiting for you. This journey will never end.

Sure, you need to explore before you realise that you like big tits, a big ass and a cute face.
