  1. You're welcome. About your idea , are you saying we should observer our thoughts while our mind try to understand something? meaning that observe how our mind works. I am doing exactly that in order to "hack" my mind.
  2. Try this one: The Phenomenological Mind https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2237142.The_Phenomenological_Mind https://www.amazon.com/Phenomenological-Mind-Introduction-Philosophy-Cognitive/dp/0415391229/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_14_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=XTY8K52WTXVCQB6K442Q
  3. Interesting idea, there is that guy named "Athene" who leads a group of people working on something similar https://singularitygroup.net/index https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC-9C9d1qDDzA2jdH53vSIuA
  4. Best books I know about scientific method are: 1. A Beginner's Guide to Scientific Method This is easy one it's only introduction, but it's necessary if you are new to how science works. http://course.sdu.edu.cn/G2S/eWebEditor/uploadfile/20140306165315001.pdf https://www.amazon.com/Beginners-Guide-Scientific-Method/dp/1111305552 2. The Beginning of Infinity: Explanations That Transform the World https://www.amazon.com/Beginning-Infinity-Explanations-Transform-World/dp/0143121359 This is deep stuff and it's a big book , I was proud of my self to finish it, it's one of best books ever, can give you the big picture of history of science and how we get to scientific methods we have today. 3. Every Thing Must Go: Metaphysics Naturalized https://www.amazon.com/Every-Thing-Must-Metaphysics-Naturalized/dp/0199573093 Now this one is very hard, it's combination of epistemology and ontology, I did't finish it yet, but if you are into philosophy maybe you will find it useful. Now I can't guarantee that you will find everything you look for in these books but it's the best I can think of , close enough to your request.
  5. I noticed couple of things about these videos : 1. They are about cosmology or quantum mechanics, is that reference to yellow/Turquoise thinking of the big picture? But you need to consider the big picture no matter what you do in your life "big picture" does not mean you should think about the universe all the time but to consider everything that might get affected because of your decisions, even small decisions . 2. There is no such thing as "post-rationalist", sure it's sexy statement, but it does not exist, everything is logical , and I am talking about Logic in very broad sense , I am not referring to Formal Logic or Mathematics, so I am talking about reason, you can't argue against reason because you need reason to argue in the first place, if you say logic is bad because , for example : Gödel's incompleteness theorems , you are using reason to think about Godel's theorem as an example of anti-logic or something. Realizing limits of logic is logical and reasonable so reason is the foundation of everything. Reason or Logic does not imply materialism or Scientism, of course science can't answer everything and matter may not exist, but you need Logic to understand all of this.
  6. I didn't read much of Nietzsche writings, I assumed he was on red stage but thank you for clarification.
  7. I don't know what to say to you but you look like ascended orange and about to ascend green, it's true what you are saying that too much accepting of other cultures will have negative consequences , but of course there is always a middle ground between seeing your race or culture as superior and between allow everyone to access your country and do whatever they want. The same thing with military don't spent too much nor not enough. I think your reasoning is fine to me , but of course all of us need to learn as much as we can and seeing the world from different perspective as we can.
  8. Obviously it's Red, looks like someone like Friedrich Nietzsche would say that.
  9. Being intellectually above your society is the definition of hell, it's almost impossible for you to fit in. If there is any consolation I live in purple/red/blue society, sometimes it feels like living with chimpanzees..no..no...let me explain more: Any "blue" individual in our society is considered enlightened because the rest is below him, luckily - I guess - I grow up with very religious family so they are mostly blue. Thank god for the gift of the Internet. Anyway, if I discover any solution I will tell you.
  10. This channel : School Of Life is green (or maybe somewhat yellow) but it's great channel anyone can learn from them https://www.youtube.com/user/schooloflifechannel/videos
  11. Yes exactly, Islam is 100% blue (I am talking about the majority of Muslims) this is why non-duality is a strange idea in the Islamic world and some muslims consider non-duality as a form of atheism because according to them, saying god is reality itself is the same thing is saying god is not real (they cant imagine god but an invisible emperor living in the sky).
  12. Currently in the most blue area of the world, I will move or die trying
  13. Islam is the Arabic version of Christianity if you understand Christianity then you understand at least 70% of Islam. The problem when discussing topics like this is that Muslims will find it as opportunity to try to convert you, so be careful.
  14. How do I post YouTube video instead of a link?
  15. This song , I think, describe Orange mindset. I like it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjF1rmSV1dM
  16. Hello everyone, I am trying to know what stage I am in according to spiral dynamics model but I can't figure it out, I tried several online tests but with no use. Every test give me different answer and it seem to me that different aspects of my personality relate to different stage / color. I know I am not: purple , blue , yellow or turquoise ( actually I don't understand the last two). Is there simple way to know , good online test, strategy or algorithm or anything else.. Thank you very much.
  17. Thank you guys for your answers, I suspected to be green or orange , I will wait for upcoming videos to learn more.
  18. Thank you for this information, I tried this exercise twice : 10 minutes first time and 30 minutes the second time, I am not going to do it again but I hope it didn't cause permanent damage to my brain I don't think one or two times can cause long time effect I hope not. I am very worried now. The problem is all this people in this thread refuse to listen.
  19. Two days ago I did it for 10 minutes, I felt dizzy and numbness in my limps, but I didn’t experience any unusual things like out of body experience, hallucinations or any rype of traumatic experience. Yesterday I tried again for 30 minutes I got the same sensations as before but with more feeling of numbness also this time I felt so tired that I fall asleep right after the exercise. However, in both of these exercise sessions I think I maybe had a glimpse of a glimpse of what enlightenment is: I realize I am not identified with my body or my thoughts/mind or even my awareness/ consciousness, but when all of those “fall apart” then what’s left of me? I was thinking maybe I am not real thing I mean that thing I call “I” is not and never was real. This is possible it didn’t even surprise me. But there is something else I felt and that is if I am not define with body, thoughts or consciousness then maybe I am reality! Now reality sound weird to me, what we mean by reality? Are we speaking of particles that construct the universe? Scientifically speaking: I don’t know, but remember I am talking here about how I felt and I am not claiming breakthrough in cosmology: It felt like reality is what will be left if you remove everything that you think is real!! For example: remove consciousness and subjective experience with it and remove all matter and energy and space-time from the universe and what’s left is reality. Now I am not very good at explaining inner feelings so I hope that was clear enough.
  20. So I watched this video by Leo about shamanic breathing technique: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w6VcbH2ypMg Two days ago I did it for 10 minutes, I felt dizzy and numbness in my limps, but I didn’t experience any unusual things like out of body experience, hallucinations or any rype of traumatic experience. 21. The science behind no-self experience and different states of consciousness and how "supernatural" experiences came to exist, it's a good video I wanted to share with you.
  22. Well I didn’t see anything supernatural in my life to force me to abandon my current paradigm of naturalism, Of course I may be wrong but I don’t think it’s likely to be the case. And let suppose I encounter something I can’t explain, how do I know that it’s supernatural? what if it’s natural and I simply don’t have enough information to understand it, can you give me an example of something you consider supernatural, I will not argue with you about it I just want to know what do you mean by supernatural. By the way I liked your last video about paradigms (I watch every video you post) and I agree with you that everyone has a world view or paradigm and one only accept the facts that are confirming his world view, I maybe falling into this trap myself but as I mentioned earlier I never encounter anything paranormal before and it’s very hard for me to accept the existence of paranormal without experiencing it by myself.
  23. Supernatural is something defy rules of physics (Nature) . Personally, I don't believe in such thing. However, there are things science does not have the answer for yet like for example: how consciousness happens and what is dark matter, but despite being out side of our current knowledge those things is natural phenomena, there is no reason to assume other wise. The problem of believing in supernatural is you can easily lost your way in the world of magical thinking, I mean you start believing that enlightenment is something of magic and the next thing you know is that you are new age believer and instead of going to doctor when you are sick you go to shaman healers. Of course no one say we humans have all the answers but that does not mean to follow any claims without healthy dose of skepticism, I used to believe in chi energy and chakras but later I learned enough to apply skeptical thinking to all claims and I stopped believe in any thing without solid evidence. Lastly, I am sorry for being late to reply but I didn't think any one would reply to this video I post. and thank you all.
  24. Don't compare 7th century people to our modern times societies, what Mohammed did was normal back in his days but it's immoral now. About enlightenment, well I am not sure if Mohammad was enlightened or not but probably not at least not fully The Quran (Mohammad's diary) speak clearly about god (Allah) as if god is a giant man in heaven similar to Father in Christianity but enlightened people think of god as absolute consciousness (reality it self). Concept of enlightenment came to exist much later in Sufi Islam.
  25. And you don't know what I am taking about : Logic.
