Is was he is talking about in the first video basically Leo's version of Absolute Infinity? -
Yeah Tumeric is one of the most healthy things out there. I used to take Curcumin, which is the active ingredient in tumeric. Specifically BCM-95 which is the most potent and effective form.

If you had to invent a philosophy that was polar opposite of non duality in every way, it would be Ayn Rand's objectivism. -
Anybody know of a tangible, proven way to increase intelligence?

I deactivated Facebook the other day. I also stopped Snapchat and never had Instagram. Loving it so far, it's mostly just toxic noise, and egos trying to self aggrandise, and will encourage yourself to do so. Plus it's just a time waster and addicting. If you're using it for business purposes, I suppose you could just use an account for admin use of your page only.

@Leo Gura how would you demonstrate evolution is non random? Is there evidence? Or is it a direct consciousness kind of insight? -
Just listened to an interesting podcast on Chris Knight. The guy who spent 27 years alone in the woods. He is apparently he most solitude human being the podcast guest could find in all his research. They mention in this episode that he seemed far more content with his life than most "normal" people, he spent most of his time doing "nothing", and he never got bored nor even understood the concept. Also, rather than feeling alone, he felt connected to the whole universe, and after a while, he wasn't sure "where he and the forest began". Ultimate case study of lifestyle minimalism perhaps he was seeking enlightenment without knowing it? Here's the link for those interested: https://www.artofmanliness.com/2017/11/21/last-true-hermit/

"Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an off hand way Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way Tired of lying in the sunshine staying home to watch the rain You are young and life is long and there is time to kill today And then one day you find ten years have got behind you No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun And you run and you run to catch up with the sun, but it's sinking And racing around to come up behind you again The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older And shorter of breath and one day closer to death Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time Plans that either come to naught or half a page of scribbled lines Hanging on in quiet desperation is the English way The time is gone the song is over, thought I'd something more to say" About finding God/enlightenment. George Harrison was into Hindu philosophy. Cool song.

It's the universe waking up to its true nature. -

I've been through a lot of this myself. What worked better than trying to convince myself I'm not alone, is to just accept it. Worst case scenario, I am the only being in the universe. So what? Like Leo says in his loneliness video, if you get in touch with being this won't be an issue. It's only the separate self that would have these kinds of concerns. -
I think I needed to hear this. I'm seeing this girl atm, and because of all the PUA theory I've consumed I have trouble being myself. I've become hyper paranoid of doing anything that could be considered "beta" like being too nice, because it could lower my "value" in her eyes.

https://www.goodlookingloser.com/anxiety/program You could try GLLs approach anxiety buster program. It gives you weekly challenges that start off pretty damn easy, like just asking directions, and then you're allowed to leave. It gradually builds up until you have no approach anxiety in around 3 months. Will take daily commitment though. I haven't tried this yet, but would like to when I get into cold approach.

Yeah 100% get it. Love the audio reviews, the categorisation, and the rating system. Plus by purchasing you're kind 'buying in' which will motivate you to read more stuff!

@Serotoninluv Yeah I've experienced both and can say they're nearly opposites. People and places feel extremely alien and unfamiliar when DP, whereas they feel a part of you with enlightenment. @Coraline Sounds to me like if you were to develop the disorder you probably would have by now, but still be careful. Educate yourself, Harris Harrington has a good YouTube channel that explain some of the childhood issues that can lead to dissociative problems. -

Depersonalisation is a completely different thing to ego death. The sound similar on the surface but it's actually a form of dissociation, not one-ness. I've had it for years at a time, being like you, it tends to afflict people who are more introverted, or anxious. You're lucky it only lasted 4-5 hours... Becoming more conscious helped me with depersonalisation, as it decreases anxiety. I think you should be okay if you've been able to handle two 10 day retreats without getting depersonalised for a long period of time. If you ever do experience it again through your inquiry, reminds yourself that it only persists when you worry about it and it will dissipate in time, if you don't enter into an obsessive thought cycle. One of the most common DPD triggers is drugs, especially weed in my case so avoid that because it will make it 10000X worse trust me. -

I too have also been through horrible DP/DR. It really fucking sucks and is really underappreciated in the medical community. I know it feels like it's impossible to recover while you're in DP/DR but it can go away with persistence. Plenty of people on the forums have recovered from it. I know while you're in the midst of it, it is so hard, but keep doing little things to distract yourself and calm yourself down to lessen the anxiety. Eventually it fades away without you even realising it. Also keep in mind the sharp distinction between DP/DR and enlightenment or ego death, they are not the same thing at all, quite the opposite in my experience.

@starsofclay Thanks!

@starsofclay any tips? It's been two months lol and I still feel a bit funny... Holosync takes you from Alpha to theta to delta and keeps you there for half an hour.

I tried it for a couple of months however I stopped a couple of months ago. It made me feel quite numb and disconnected from reality. Calmer and more measured, sure , didn't actually feel more present or more vibrancy. I can still feel these after effects and they're taking a long time to wear off for myself. So it 100% does something, lol. Having said that, this was just my experience. A lot of people love it and swear by it, however I'm going to just stick to regular meditation as it didn't mesh well with my particular body/mind. Could give it a try and see how you feel. Just don't buy too much into Bill Harris' uptopian marketing.
