  1. Your answer surprised me. It's amazing how much sincerity and light-heartedness is in this one post. I learned something from you today. Thank you!
  2. "But in reality to be a female you only need to be courageous and strong to ignore outside threats. This kind of courage and strength and revolutionary behavior is more of a masculine quality than feminine."
  3. @Salvijus We wear clothes because it protects us from the cold. So when we're naked, we're vulnerable to cold. Flowers are also vulnerable to cold, that's why you don't see them in the winter. Just like you don't see a lot of naked female bodies surrounded by snow. Maybe I like these photos because of my hormones, I don't know. Usually I don't question my likes because it's a positive feeling to like something. I question a lot more my dislikes because those usually come from my ego. So why are we having this argument here? Why is it that you don't like it when someone shares the true, unhidden beauty of their bodies?
  4. Thank you And I agree with you, being naked doesn't amount to being feminine. However, when the clothes don't separate us from the environment then we have a greater feeling oneness. Oneness and inclusion is a feminine act, as opposed to individuality, which is masculine. And being naked has a sense of vulnerability in it, which feels very feminine. Also, seeing a naked body is out of the ordinary, so it has an artistic feeling to it. And when we're not hiding ourselves it feels very sincere to me, and I associate sincerity with art. So for me a naked female body seems like a great way to express the feminine in an artistic way.
  5. @Salvijus We continuously hide the body in clothes and we see someone naked only when we're making love to them. So we associate nakedness with sexuality. Do you see that this is only a conditioning of the mind? On these photos I don't see sexuality, but I see natural beauty, and being one with nature. Would you rather dress up a flower before making a photo of it?
  6. @molosku We will always make "mistakes". Always. Without making mistakes there's no growing. If you would already act without mistakes in every imaginable situation then growing wouldn't even make sense for you. Also, notice that "mistakes" make sense only if you are thinking in time. In the present moment there are no such things as mistakes. Whatever is, is. The present moment is always perfect. And growth is never ending. If something in you still wants to micro-manage the present moment, I can't help you with that.
  7. I'm a Capricorn and I just learned recently that because of my zodiac sign I should tell you how things are. "The Two Golden Laws"... Sounds like a proper spiritual term, doesn't it? I just made this name up, you can call it whatever you want. So I'll tell you how things are : 1. Fear is a liar. Every lie comes from fear and every fear comes from a lie. Fear and lying are mutually interdependent. You can say that they're one. 2. Love is always true. Every relative truth comes from love and every aspect of love comes from truth. Love and truth are mutually interdependent. You can say that they're one. The theory in practice: I don't really feel fear anymore, but sometimes I have some uncomfortable emotions in my body. Whenever I become conscious of it I just tell myself "fear is a liar". This short sentence makes me aware of the thoughts that I believe and I can immediately discard them simply because they're lies. It's a pretty liberating practice, try this out! An implication of the second law is that in the state of unconditional love the mind tends to be silent. It's because unconditional love expresses absolute truth, and there's no word or symbol that can include the absolute truth of all. Warning, what you just read might silence your mind for a few moments. Jao!
  8. "Angels can fly because they take themselves lightly."
  9. Is this true? Or is this an excuse for thinking about everything?
  10. Sadness is the feeling when the higher self wants to cry out of compassion for the mental self, because the mental self doesn't see the beauty in life.
  11. The feeling of Infinity and the feeling of Nothingness is the same feeling, because Infinity is so infinite that we can't even feel it. Don't believe this statement, just meditate on it
  12. Are you working with weed or Ketamine? Or deeper psychedelics like mushrooms or mescaline? I noticed a slight addiction in myself to weed (meaning that I crave it even when I don't need it). So now I'm using it less. But I can't imagine being addicted to mushrooms. My body doesn't like mushrooms at all, I feel a pressure in my head, my whole body becomes weak and I feel cold. I'm still taking small doses of mushrooms (0.5 g) on the weekends. But it's only to step out of my physical and mental comfort zone.
  13. What do you mean by addiction? Are you addicted to spirituality? Or you're following the spiritual path because you recognize that it's good for your development? How do you differentiate between being addicted to a tool and using the tool consciously?
  14. @Shakazulu I didn't memorize those questions, I came up with those as I was typing. It's enough to remember one question: How can I love myself in this moment? All the other questions come from this one.
  15. Doing spiritual work instead of providing yourself your basic needs is spiritual bypassing. Doing physical (or mental) work without being conscious of the present moment is "mental bypassing". (I just made this term up right now ) The mind likes to divide things into opposites: I either do this or that. But in reality, you don't have to draw a line between spiritual work and material work. Life can become simply the process of learning to love yourself. You can ask questions, like: What would help me to heal right now? Which activity would make me the happiest right now? What would help me to love life more? How could I contribute the most at this moment? What would make me the happiest right now? You could see what to do at every moment, just by answering one of these questions. Sometimes the answer will point to a spiritual activity, and sometimes it will point to a physical activity. And that's okay. Life is not a straight line but a spiral. Life is the act of balancing ourselves. I seldom make decisions about my future. I like to ask myself questions and let my quiet self answer to these questions moment by moment.
  16. In my last post I talked about two important questions that we can ask ourselves. If you haven't read that yet, I recommend that you do so because we're gonna build on that in this post. Yo can find my last post here: https://www.actualized.org/forum/topic/32573-self-inquiry/ Now I want to talk about emotional healing. When I feel a negative emotion, I recognize that the emotion hurts only because it's concentrated into a small space in my body. It hurts because it needs more space to balance itself out. So I just ask the question: What am I? This question reminds me that I am also the external world. And immediately the experience of my being is expanded because now it includes the external world as well. In this expanded self, the emotion has space to rush out and fill my entire being, This way the emotion balances itself out. 99% of the emotion will go to the outside world, and it doesn't hurt my body anymore. I hope this technique will help you.
  17. If you're into psychedelics then I can recommend you a combo that will show you exactly your barriers against loving every moment. But I can also answer this question in words, if you want me to spoiler your own discoveries.
  18. There are two important questions in self inquiry. What am I? They say that the question in self inquiry is not to get an answer but to dissolve the questioner. However, I'm gonna still point to an answer now. Some spiritual traditions answer to the question "What am I", and they say that you are: Awareness. But this is not a proper introduction of yourself to yourself. The proper introduction would be the following: "You are Awareness. The body is your inside and the external world is your outside. All of it is you. It's all you." You can also imagine this in an anatomical way: You are your body. But you're also your 7 auras. The external edge of your 7th aura is several meters away from your physical body. And you're also your 8th aura. The external edge of your 8th aura is infinitely far from your physical body. Your 8th aura reflects back the experience of the physical world to you. More precisely: the experience of the external world is your 8th aura. The whole external world is part of what you are. Why not love this moment? Why not love this moment? Just observe all the answers that your mind is giving you to this question. Do you see the functioning of the ego in them? Why should I believe these answers? And just observe the mind justifying its answers. Can you identify the entity in you that gives these answers? Just let go of that entity, let it fall. And now ask the following question: Why not love this moment? So, was this post enough for you to awaken? Or should I write a book about these questions?
  19. This kind of love is beautiful, but it wasn't the kind of love that I meant. The love I was pointing to is a bit more subtle than that. Like, being aware of the world is in itself an act of love. Being aware of the world means that you're inviting the experience of it in, in every moment. Thank you Thanks!
  20. @Wisebaxter Pay attention to the transition from around 4:20 until 5:20.
  21. Yes. I thought it was obvious from my answer.
  22. I love to turn this around: God and everything is the awareness that's looking out of your head.
