Yes gluten intolerance is real. The underlying cause is pathogens in the body that feed off of gluten and excrete harmful neurotoxins. These toxins can cause all kinds of symptoms like fatigue, headaches, brain fog etc. https://www.tiktok.com/@medicalmedium/video/7350435057372302634

The magical practice you are referring to is called creating and exchanging value. Create a product, or a solution that is more valuable to someone than the 5 000 USD they have and the money will appear in your bank account. -
I recommend you check the work of Anthony William. When it comes to chronic symptoms, what is causing them and reversing them his information is bar none.

The idea that if you kill bad people crime will be reduced or solved is very materialistic. A couple of things could be taken into consideration. A person is not his physical body. Destroying the physical body does not destroy the person. There is no such thing as death. According to some spiritual literature the person after death does not become an angel, he is the same psychologically as when he was in the body. After his physical life has been cut short, he is filled with anger and revenge, because of it and influences vulnerable people to commit crimes. Imagine a glass vial with a poisonous gas in it. By destroying the vial you do not destroy the gas, you release it and the gas can hurt a lot of people. A much better option is to isolate the convict and give him physical work to keep him occupied, instead of executing him. If murder solved anything we would be living in paradise by now.

LLMs don't need to be AGI to be extremely useful. One area with a lot of potential is farming.

Just because something is an illusion doesn't mean it doesn't exist. For example chess rules are completely imaginary, but if you want to play chess you have to abide by them.

But who will win?

LordFall - I didn't switch anything, I was just clarifying. I also never wrote that killing is fine if you lack self awareness. Humans killing animals has consequences for humans, animals killing animals has consequences for animals. Because humans have self awareness and choices that the animal does not have, our responsibility is bigger. Regarding the bear analogy, there is a difference between such isolated cases and the consequences of the deliberate slaughtering of hundreds of millions of animals. If the central concept of the Universe is oneness, then what you do unto other is what you do unto yourself.

LordFall - Animals don’t have the same level of self awareness and reflection as humans. They run on instinct. If foxes turned vegan they would live twice as long. (a joke, don’t take it seriously) Veganism/Vegetarianism isn’t automatically a golden ticket to a healthy life. There is a lot of junk food out there. If the goal is health, there is a right and wrong way to do it. OmniNaut - Congratulations on 14 years being a vegetarian. Survival doesn't mean no choice. The planet can produce enough food to feed everyone. The problems are bad management and distribution. The world we live in is much better compared to the world 500 years ago. Animal welfare and human welfare are connected.

Emerald - Good point. Omninaut - If you stop eating meat that doesn't make you immune to aggression. In a hypothetical world in which we show no, or less violence toward animals, we would show no, or less violence towards each other. If meat is the only option for some remote cultures then of course the choice is obvious. Survival comes first. But they are an insignificant percentage. Not saying that eating meat should be banned, or that people who eat meat are bad. Just giving food for thought how our everyday decisions could be influencing the world at large. The gland part does not refer to the dead animal, it is a metaphor for Nature as a living whole. Harming one part affects the whole.

“On the surface it may seem that wars are caused by economic and political questions, but in fact they are caused by our wholesale slaughter of animals. The laws of justice are inexorable, and human beings are going to have to pay with their own blood … We kill animals, but nature is an organic whole, and by killing animals we are, as it were, affecting certain glands in that organism. When this happens, the balance of the organism is disrupted, and it is not surprising that before long war breaks out among men. Yes, human beings have slaughtered millions of animals for their meat, without realizing that on the invisible plane those animals are linked to other human beings, and it is they who will now have to share the fate of the animals. When we slaughter animals we are slaughtering human beings. Everybody agrees that it is time to establish the reign of peace in the world, that there must be no more wars. Yes, but war will go on just as long as we continue to slaughter animals, because by destroying them we are destroying ourselves.” - Omraam Mikhael Aivanhov https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Omraam_Mikhaël_Aïvanhov

The best way to defeat your enemy is to turn him into your friend. -
Billionaires are an insignificant portion of the world's population. Most crime is survival based. Guaranteed survival doesn't mean no consequences if you break the law. I do not see how an AI can be created that polices everyone equally. A system like this would require hundreds of billions of dollars to create and maintain. The people that have that much money are not going to turn it on themselves. Even if such an open source system is created they will find a way to co-opt it. A lot of rules aren't decided by criminologists, they're decided by the people with the most money and power. Mass surveillance would lead to mass paranoia like it did in the USSR. People would not speak their mind in fear of consequences. With such a system there are things that one can say and do that may not break a certain law, but they could still be used to blackmail them and ruin their reputation. There are such cases already. Gathering compromising information about someone, even if they haven't broken a law, is one way intelligence services recruit and control people. I've watched both. Death Note is a great example of a corrupt person abusing power. If such a system were created, I wouldn't want someone like Light Yagami in charge of it.
