Good Post and correct. In Oneness all possibility exist, so that means Duality has to exist somewhere, it exists here on this planet and universe, but its the Gross part of existence, Oneness is the most subtle part of Existence, so there are levels to it all, to deny Duality is to deny existence and possibility. Its strange, I watched the videos of Leo on 5 Meo-dmt and how he is God and in great sense of Bliss and Oneness, then he shared his experience of taking Salvia and it was basically the opposite affect on him, and he said he wouldn't take it again and want to experience that state again, so right there is the proof, within everyone is the realm of Possibility, you can feel like God or like the Devil, both are possible, the key is becoming conscious of Your Free Will, we can choose how to be within Ourselves, that starts us on the path, if You choose Bliss, I want to be Blissful as a base experience then that will allow more potential to be exposed to You, if You choose Misery as a base experience then less potential is exposed to You, its that simple... -

The main point is if Your Ideology is that of everything is Maya, all is Illusion, nothing exists, then You won't care about anything, why would You if it is all imaginary, fantasy, video game we are all playing, and as well it is not the truth, if Your living in Untruth, nothing will work for You, no God, no Divinity, No Spiritual practice will help You with the suffering one will have believing in this... Its not a thought experiment, Existence happens from Gross (Physicality, Material, everything that you sense with 5 senses), to Subtle (think 02, you can't see it or smell it but it exist, this is just one out of millions of eg), and it goes even further, there is an intelligence within Us and all around, but most know one perceives it with clarity, if You did You would be overwhelmed with Amazement. This all comes from the Non Existent, No Thing aspect which I would say was there before the Big Bang, so material physical existence is just a level of Existence, but it for sure exists, its not imaginary, maya illusion...but we don't perceive as Amazing, or a Miracle because we take it for granted, are heavily conditioned by many factors and things, and our Awareness is not intense enough due to stagnant energy systems, bad health, poor educational systems and so forth.. -

Illusion or Maya does not mean "Nothing exists", it means that things exist but not as You experience them too be, salt and elements are not concepts, they are real things, but most ppl do not realize their importance, like Breathing in and out, if You miss one cycle of breathing in and out your dead, but do ppl focus on this, are they grateful of this? No for the most part ppl do not even realize they are breathing, never mind how important it is for their survival, so that is Maya, not realizing what the reality is of a situation or experience... -
Ishanga replied to VermilionFloyd's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@VermilionFloyd I'm not a fan of "Self Inquiry", at least not as a beginners practice and such, Self Inquiry is for me is ego talking to ego, how can the mind which is not You find the You within Yourself? It will drive You crazy and further away from Truth imo..at least when one is beginning the journey, maybe later on when one has had some realizations and awakening then they can inquire within about one's self, but what is doing the inquiry and to whom are they inquiring about? Maybe You need to start some practice that bring about more energy or that are energy based, the practice of watching breath is very very basic, its there to bring about as simple awareness, but there are others that are more advanced and scientific in their approach and have nothing to do with mind and ego... This guy is very good, Forrest Knutson, he's a Kriya Yogi and has some methods that work on the energy system within the body, try some of his stuff and see what happens:) https://www.youtube.com/@ForrestKnutson -

Yes Good Post! I think the key is realizing that being Human is Super (compared to wanting to be something else other than Human), we have allot of Potential and Possibility within us, and that trying to be something else (God) is foolhardy, and using psychedelics to experience something beyond our everyday experience, although can lead one to a greater realization, it still has to become a natural occurrence and not induced by the use of an outside stimulant of sorts. This is why we have a plethora of practices and Guru's/Teachers at hand, to help us get to that realization naturally and having it as an everyday experience while functioning within this body. This reason why we are not born this way is super simple, how would we be able to function and survive if we are always in a 5meo-dmt experience of Oneness and Love? Our species would have died out million years ago, so we are born with a super Intellect, that allows us to learn quickly what is dangerous and safe, healthy and unhealthy for our survival, this is a very strong instinct within Us, but today we have more tech and knowledge that enables our survival much more easily, we have enough food and resources to feed/house everyone on the planet, but we are not the most spiritually empowered or happy society ever are we? But some ppl have found a more in-depth life and inner experience, we've read and heard the stories so we get curious about it, then systems are created and methods are brought forward to hopefully get us (those that are curious about such things) to those realizations as well, its the nature of Desire that we become unbounded and totally free, which is the experience of Oneness and Love/Bliss...but its all rooted in our embodiment, we live within a body/mind complex in a dual material world, but this is not what we are, but its our housing of sorts, within we can still have an experience of Oneness that is the foundation of everything else, at the least this will stop all suffering within one's self.. -

I've been to that Ashram in Tennessee 2 X, its pretty nice, since my last visit, they have built a Shiva Temple, and are always expanding that facilities, and they have a big hall there, its all consecrated land and buildings so a very powerful place to be if Your on the Spiritual Path. They had apartments already set up when I was there, and you can buy land space with housing on there too, so this will be a cool place to be in the near future...I hope to one day go to the main Ashram in India, some 4,000 volunteers live there, and hundreds of thousands visit everyday, the Dylanalinga is the main temple which is the reason why Sadhguru is here... -
Ishanga replied to Kuba Powiertowski's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I would say that everyone has a unique journey, but the path is relatively the same, we all have to deal with the same issues, wrong identification (ppl identify with Body, Mind, Teachings, Religions, etc), Unawarness (Not seeing Reality as it is), Ego (false self, personality thinking it is You), Belief (we come up with cultural beliefs ingrained in us, so this is conditioning), Karma (what You brought with You from previous incarnations, residual effect of past actions), so all of this plays into it, and there are systems that can help you in all those areas, its just a matter of finding the one that works for You based off Your Karmic substance, that is why a Guru is so important, most ppl do not know of their Karmic naure a Guru does and can guide You directly so Liberation happens within this lifetime, not many... -

I think Information is a part of it. It's like an endless fractal, its every possibility in an endless loop and process..but I don't think our minds will ever be able to comprend it, but we can experience it for sure, that is Bliss they say, its unexplainable but profound at the sametime..Maybe advanced 30yrs from now AI will be able to explain it I don't know lol.. One of our biggest problems is our intellects (which is not intelligence in the real sense) is so peaked and stroked nowadays, everything is about calculations and adjustments and figuring things out, so that part of our filter will for sure not allow us to find this thing call Life that is within all of us and everything living around us... Intellect is a discernment and dissecting tool, it allows us to know what is dangerous and safe, good and bad for us in a physical ways, we are born with it as a part of our mind structure, but it will never be able to figure out existence and how to perceive it at high levels, another form of perception has to open up for that too happen, that is why we have practices and methods to help us do that... -
Ishanga replied to Theplay's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Well in my experience there is no "God" up there, or supreme Being of anysorts, there are different realms and entities from what I understand but no supreme God. Existence, non material/physical is just pure Intelligence, Intelligence that is not support by memory, they call it Chitta, Consciousness is another english word, but it is that basis of everything, what was there before the big bang. How can something come from nothing, so something was there, but it was a No Thing. Shiva means "That which is not", so there is this Intelligence that started everything, we are that. The simplies and least corrupted term to use is just "Life", when You think of this word what does it bring up? It brings up all kinds of things, so Life is unlimited Possibility and Potential, we are that in physical form on a dual existence, the highest potential for Us is embodied Enlightenment, where You have very high degree of Clarity of Reality, where You are just Perceiving things as they are, not via a filter of conditoned teachings and experiences.. For sure ppl are experiencing this when on psycedelics but its too much to take in when You have never had such an intense perception..That's why its best to find a practice that first calms Your whole system down, brings a natural Peace into Your Experience then things will open up big time.. -
Ishanga replied to Theplay's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Agreed, using the word "God" is a misnomor as it can imply many things with various definitions, and to imply that "I am God" is egoic imo, you can have an immense sense/experience of Oneness & Completeness, that is what is happening, and in that You feel great Bliss and Ecstasy, nothing to do with God/s, just an experience of our Human Potential and the basis of our existence here on this dual physical planet and plane... -
Ishanga replied to Antor8188's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Antor8188 Yes Agreed! We have Karma in place, without Karma no physicality is possible, Karma is the residual result (cause and effect) of all the actions happening, for a Human Being there are 4 areas of action, Body, Mind, Emotion and Energy, depending on Your Level of Awareness in these areas of action in Your life will determine Your level of Free Will, most ppl are below 1% aware of anything going on in these areas so therefore have no Free Will. Karma is happening in everything living and non living, the Earth has Karma, the Planets and whole Universe, so its everywhere, its just on this planet Human Beings have the highest potential to be Aware and Conscious of what is happening in their lives, its just not many strive to know this possibility exists! So Human Life is about dealing with Physicality in a Dual world but with Potential and Possibility to live Beyond all of that and have Free Will even up to the point of Enlightenment where they drop this body/mind complex and merge with the realm of Oneness and Completeness, where no duality or Individuality exists but where all possibility and potential exists.. -
Ishanga replied to Paul5480's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Don't try to go for lofty ideas or goal like being Infinity or Enlightened, if You cannot be Peaceful within Yourself for a whole day, then the next day and so forth, then these things are out of reach for You. Baby Steps, get that straightened out first then lets see what potential arises within You..Thinking about this stuff just gets you further away from Truth, don't make spirituality a subject to study, it doesn't work well like that... -
Ishanga replied to Theplay's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
We all have Free Will, we can decide how we want to Experience Life, but it has to be strived for, that is why we are here as Humans, that is the purpose of our existence, to exert our Free Will in a dual/material world existence...Being Blissful of Your own nature is the start of the spiritual path and much more healthy for us, compared to being depressed, or angry, in fear everyday... -
Ishanga replied to Theplay's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Suffering is Self Created, its just Unconscious to most ppl that it is happening. Suffering is Pain over a long period of time, everyone will experience pain, even Enlightened Beings, but they won't suffer it, that's a big difference. There's only Two Way a Human can suffer, via the Body and Mind, no other suffering exists, but You are not either the Body or Mind, both are accumulations or gathers to You have picked up, Body via the Food You eat, Mind via the information your 5 senes bring into Your Brain and the Conditioning You have been put under (the content of the Mind is societies Garbage bin), once you create a space btwn what is You and what is not You (most of this comes from wrong Identifications), then Suffering is not possible for You, unless You consciously choose to experience suffering -
Ishanga replied to r0ckyreed's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Everything You say to me or anyone is only a story for me or anyone, Your Truth is Your Truth, the only up side is that we are all Human Beings, we are not so different from one another, only on surface or bodiliy level are we diferent in some ways, so you can infer commanality on that point.. In the End Subjectivity is 99% of everything for You, since all Experience happens within You no where else, but intellectually we know there are other ppl, places and things in this world separate (on the physical level only) from Us. So until I experience it for myself, then it is not a True reality for Me. Its the same for everyone, but there are methods to get up to a point of absolute Clarity, we will see and experience the samething but probably express it differently, but when I hear the ppl on the pscyedelics thread relating their experiences they all say the same as Leo, I am God, I am Everything, I am I am I am, which is probably influenced by their ideology or someone, I wonder who:) -

Living Now completely, using past to become wise, future to plan but don't live emotionally in those places, so make Now the primary of Your life... Accepting all that is as it is, this moment is inevitable, this stop stress response and allows Peace to be Your base state of Being which will allow higher states of realization happen more naturally.. Respond to life rather than React to Life, this brings about Your Free will more, so You can choose how to be within Yourself more easily rather than being a slave to outside situations that you have no control over.. Simple breath awareness, try to get Your natural breath cycle below 10 breaths per min, this helps allot too... -
I follow this fellow on Youtube, he's 31 Swedish guy, went to school in the states, but was kicked out for working without a permit, now he travels all over the place sharing his experiences when travelling and information on the places he travels too. When You watch him long enough you begin to realize he's lonely as hell, but has the need to be active and stimulated all the time. Once inawhile a girl he met in Texas when at school (his on/off again GF) will met up with him and they travel together for awhile then she has to go back home for work and normal life.. They do interesting stuff and he philosophizes once inawhile about Life and not being stuck in a 9-5 week after week job situation and how that would suck, then he will say how he is thining about what to do with his life and if he wants to continue to travel or not, while sipping on a margarita in Mexico on the beach. Me sitting watching him in the middle of a cold Canadian Winter thinking he's in paradise, well in the end its all relative, you can get bored and lonely being a Billionaire with top models beside you in a daily basis.. So be careful what You wish for, its cool to have goals, ambitions and such, but they won't complete Your life, that only happens when You go within Yourself and find the Truth.. https://www.youtube.com/@williamtaudien

That is true, but with someone like Sadhguru, for me the proof is in his words and actions combined, to me he seems very wise, blissful, and energetic and very active while keeping an ability to be logical when need be and compassionate/loving when need be, so for me that is enough example to say he has something going on within him that is not normal, "To Be Human is Super" is one of his sayings, Enlightenment is probably what is his state of being is I would say... Reality is only Experienced within Yourself, so when embodied and with enlightened sense of being, you recognize both individuality (other bodies/minds) as well as Oneness and Connection with everything alive, on this realm there is indivduality and separate body entities but that is only on the level of physicality, within You can experience Oneness and Completeness, nothing is imagined, i am not an image, you are not a image... -
Yes exactly right, the difference btwn now and the past patterns of destruction is that now we can destroy the whole world and all the life on the planet, we didn't have that power before hand, it was localized back then, so technology has made it that one person can do emmense damage, which is why the Raising of Human Consciousness is the most important thing that can happen on this planet for all life to continue on!

I think ppl should be aware of their mortality, that one day this body and this lifestyle, family/friends, homes and such will all be gone for You, that way if one really realizes this they won't waste time doing stupid things (scrolling all day on phone looking at nothing), so its a part of the awakening process to know this, and a step in the right direction... -
Ishanga replied to Someone here's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Someone here I would agree with that our society the way it is set up, its a big distraction, everything is there to distract someone from see Reality the way it is, its not a very empowering society and culture, and this is happening world wide, the American culture is global now... I think ppl back in the old days had less distractions, when Sadhguru goes into a small village he doesn't have to talk much, they know who he is, so they are much more sensitive to things, and they say ppl in these situations are happier than we are here with all this tech and access to stuff. Its not about Survival today, its about Experience Gathering, going from one experience to another and another, looking to fill in the void felt within, which doesn't end up well for most, they go thru their whole lives doing this then get old and wonder what it was all about and get depressed... Spritual teachings should start young, it could help with all of this and solve most all of our problems we have today! -
I think he is naive, and bases his life on some moral code, I don't think he's very spiritually aware and after awhile interviewing tons of ppl on similar topics, one can get confused what to think, I don't think Lex looks within too much to find answers that are true in nature. Yeah sure I don't think he lies much, at least on his podcasts, and comes off as a nice guy approach, but he seems to hero worship and such in subtle ways, like Joe Rogan is the be all end all (I'm sure he's a nice guy too), Joe is a guy my age that tries to be 18 again, not very mature man imo, like how many UFC has he seen and he still gets excited about a fight btwn two stupid men who in 5 yrs you'll never hear from again, and Lex looks up to him? I donno about trusting his instincts...

Ishanga replied to Anonman90's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Actually as a disciple of Sadhguru I would say that the statement is correct, when most ppl reach Enlightenment their body drops off, mahasamahdi happens, their individuality and Life force merges with Oneness and that realm... In one sense the OP is correct, but there are levels to reality, there is Ultimate Reality, that is Brahman, or Shiva (that which is not), complete Oneness realm, no individuality or duality, but there is also creation, we are a part of that realm but have the possibility to experience within ourselves Shiva or Brahman and high levels of Consciousness/Awareness, only if You are a Guru Master, can create Karma for themselves or know the mechanics of Life to stay on here with a body and be Enligthened, most of the spiritual teachers (Tolle, Watts, Spira, etc) are not fully enlightened I would say, they have a level of high consciousness and may be considered Saints, but not full on Masters imo...
