In fact it's selfish...but anyway, if you dig into why people go into "moral" delusions, you'll find that it's also selfish, everything is selfish in a more or less conscious and sophisticated way. Either it's a nocebo effect (or something that comes from another food but which you attribute to cheese) or it's an intolerance, probably to casein. Dairy products from Jersey cows for example are much less immunogenic, but if you are sensitive it is best to simply remove dairy products or at least those from cows.
